So... I just got War of the Chosen! And just now took a great picture that made me happy inside.

(Sorry for the poor quality, I am a console pleb and thus had to take this with my phone)

You got an xbox right? All you have to do is press the home button and press y for a screenshot. Then got to xboxclips.com and search your gamertag. There you can download shit at high quality. It is how I do it now.

I say she's more like Atka since there both bad mothers, though Atka changed over time.
True this. Raven is Atka if she had not only crossed the despair event horizon as she did, but if she went so far over the edge as to care only about Yakone surviving--and not what being strong above all else might do to her.

@BMPixy I swear Yakone is a unisex name, if not specifically female.

Anyone interested in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT? Third in a series of fighting games featuring cross over characters from the Final Fantasy series.

I realize most of you have little interest in this series of JRPGs... or JRPGs in general. Think one of you played IF, and another played XV. But it really is a solid, enjoyable fighting game. It has a unique fighting system based on a risk and reward system where you have two sets of attacks, one that increase the amount of damage you'll do and decreases the amount your opponent will do, and one that actually does that damage but then leaves you open to a Break, where your Brave amount drops below 0 giving the opponent a huge boost to their attack and leaving you vulnerable.

And it has a large cast of characters, none of them the same as another. A heavy smasher, one who hits small but a lot, one focusing on projectiles, one who is great on land but terrible in the air, one who focuses on dodge moves, one who uses traps, and so many more. It is a solid game that I'm sure most people would love. So consider it when it comes out this January.

Yeash, I have heard of dis game. It looks pretty good, I am just not as big a fan of FF as I could be. :(

Just kinda never really got into it much when I was a kid.

If you have the system, try renting it. Alternatively, if you have a PSP, find the second Dissidia game. It is fantastic. I still think the first game has the greatest opening for any fighting game ever.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing this once or twice, this is where Exalted 3e stole its combat system from. I'll consider checking it out later, but right now I'm very solidly booked towards getting Gundam Versus when I get the chance, and I only really have time in my life for one fighting game at a time.

Gundam, huh? Didn't that have an anime... or two... or three... or twelve...?

Twenty-six TV series and OVAs, excluding Build Fighters and the Super Deformed Gundam series. Plenty more movies and manga and other shit. I've been digging my way through the big stuff recently, I've chipped away at about a fifth of that number, in little particular order. If you ever get the chance, I recommend just starting either at the beginning, or whichever series piques your interest first. G Gundam is a good place if you like Super Robots over Real, and Iron-Blooded Orphans (the series I'm currently chipping away at) is given a thumbs-up so far simply because the protagonist doesn't fuck around and will straight up blow a motherfucker away when he needs to.

Ever play the Gundam trading card game? Very interesting. Not good, but interesting. Not the weirdest though. That would go to either the Nightmare Before Christmas tcg, or the Sailor Moon tcg.

Nah, never been into TCGs that much. Looking it up, it seems like a bit of a MtG clone, which isn't exactly to my taste. I have had bad experiences with games that require a certain resource in order for you to even play the game.

My Little Pony TCG
Nah, that doesn't surprise me. It seems to be a rule that, once something reaches a certain level of popularity, it has to have a TCG.

Oh! Resident Evil. Not a TCG, but it is a card game. A very, very weird card game.

There is also a Final Fantasy TCG. It is an interesting game, similar to MtG except instead of mana to cast, each card can be discard to pay casting costs. It's fun. At least... I think it is. I don't have any actual non-internet friends to play it with...:(

I wish I could play Kingdom Death: Monster with you, just the reactions to the bs that happens in that game would hilarious. :3

That game is sick... And brutally hard, oh do brutal... (If you play it right, of course, since the monsters control themselves you have a bit of a bias when it comes to looking up rules.)

Oh man, KDM. Played a campaign of that a while back, it was surprisingly enjoyable. I absorbed all the luck from the other players, and ended up with an Ageless Timeless Eye Legendary Lungs Dual-Katar Blood Paint 3 Speed 3 Str 4 Luck Survivor. (Also man that would make no sense to people who haven't played KDM.) She could one round far too many monsters, and she stayed alive from the prologue until both of her legs got hacked off and she had to retire in the last few years.

That... Is... Ridiculous! XD
Talk about a main character!

And even after all that, Ageless means you still get the benefit of Katar Mastery forever. (Unless something specifically targets retired heroes.)

Enjoy what I think is my longest solo yet. Four entries. Worked on it for 3 days and wanted to get it done before I had to start work tomor-... today. Anyways, enjoy. This isn't important storywise, just some character development.
