Oh! Right, forgot to comment on Marine's great solo.

Like... It was fantasic seeing Lyr grow his character some and the side character farmers were great! Considering they are both Serasam farm families near Havenbrook I have to imagine Mags' family and them are well acquainted with eachother, good potential for references and also makes for great worldbuilding, helping to flesh out our immediate area more.

Other things include the immaculate detail you wrote with, really good stuff! The Location felt very alive and it was due to the the lengthy, detailed descriptions. :3

Marine solo part one:

As usual, you are a master at setting a scene. And not only was the fight intense, it was so realistic, I felt like I could picture it perfectly in my mind.

Marine solo part two:

Again, great scene building. And Lyr is always so tough, it is good to see him in a vulnerable state, and I like the family so far, especially the mother.

Marine solo part three:

Oh, the antagonism of a farm boy spotting a potential rival/intruder to their peace. I fear he is about to be schooled, but Lyr is still recovering, so who knows how this will go down?

Marine solo part four:

Good fight, good character development, good resolution, and yes, Mina would have gone to terrified while he was gone to furious when he returned (though not too furious, considering he was injured).

I'm sorry guys, but I'm going to half to back out of the RP. Life is getting harder and harder to manage and I can't find holes in it to collab anymore. I still want to collab with you guys, but I unfortunately can't. Bye, I'll miss the fun that I had and I'll stay in contact as much as I can

Not going to say goodbye. Just like He's characters, I'm going to assume they are still there in case you want to come back to them, even for one post. And like Gem, please join us in conversation here whenever you have time. Just because you can't participate doesn't mean we aren't still friends, right?

Really? :(

You know you don't need to post things super fast... I mean, even a post a week would be fine, we're not pushing you.

I know real life gets in the way but I'm so excited to see where Zulik and Arlia go with their stories... Besides I love collabing with you. Is there really nothing you can do?

Which is appreciated. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Which means I am impure, imperfect. PURGE KINDESS. BECOME MACHINE. DISCARD MEAT.

@ExoGrim I get what you're going through man. I have for the past two weeks been working almost nonstop from rise to rest half of the week, which leaves me wiped out by my "free time". And I don't do extracirruclars. If you do, God rest your soul that's rough.

For ten thousand years I've slumbered...
Long ago in a distant land, I, Zombie, unleashed an unspeakable evil... collab.

But a foolish group of writers wielding magic characters stepped forth to write with me.

Before the Final pen stroke was struck, I tore open a portal in plot, and flung them into a story where my evil is law.

Now the fools seek to return to the original story, and undo the genius that is Aku... I mean Zombie, damn it! Screwed it up in the end!

You know, I had a thought recently, if we ever decide to go back and do an XCOM War of the Chosen Rp, I would definitely call dibs on a Skirmisher Character, they're just so fucking cool from the way they fight to the way they look to thier motives and Leader. I love them. :3

I've thought about this: the problem with a WotC RP is the amount of established characters. I feel like if we had people playing the Assassin, Hunter, and Warlock we'd be crossing the event horizon over into flat-out fanfiction, instead of one work based upon another. We'd need to make significant alterations and use our own characters. In a way, Nouja was OUR version of the Assassin when she was Major Blukersey.

Not to mention we have sort of run the xcom universe into the ground. For god's sake we have an entire multi-universe timeline. The only way things would be interesting is that they all collide together and have just one big lump war of all legacy character ever in some convoluted event dc would think up.
