Rise From Banishment, which needs a little tweaking, name change, and a setting/mechanic shift; All Writers will be Gods who are casted down from their lofty positions. From changing whole civilizations to merely leading a small tribe of fantasy creatures, with a few throwbacks here and there to TD. You'll have a single demigod champion who will grow into whatever you want them to be; ruthless conqueror, peaceful priests and so on. Of course, this is in juxtaposition to the well-built up Chorus, which shattered all the pantheons and reduced them to barely having small bands of followers. They have followers of their own as well as a few Gods they have spared to act as Generals and Warlords.
What writers will have is a council of the surviving Gods, who the NPC versions will have clear ideas and goals you can choose to follow or resist. All Gods will grow and get stronger with new epithets, Dominions, and adding new boons to their followers.
That sounds like fun.

I think it would be interesting, personally; being able to define an abstract concept like hope or expand the scope of what silence means would be fascinating to examine. Also, what would a champion look like for such a God or Goddess? Would they act juxtaposed to their God, like a Chatterbox for the God of Silence or a nihilist for the God of Hope?
In short, that'd be very interesting to see.
