Never Play Ironman Kids.
If you want Ironman, just play normal and don't savescum. Just lost an entire playthrough because my one save got corrupted. :/

Ouch. That reminds me of when of my best playthroughs: I, uh, had an amazing sniper called Diane Warren, who, if given the chance, could hit anything. I'm not exaggerating, because I had a mod to track shots missed on characters. She only had 1.
Anyways, I've killed all the Chosen, I have so many permanent Dark events, and I was going to fight the elders with my God-tier sniper. Game file was corrupted the next morning.
Still though... Warren still made me smile tho. The other special classes had nothing on her.if you can out-snipe the Hunter, I believe you are just a little broken.
Anyone else got some hero stories?

You know, I'm not even that upset weirdly... I think It's like some kind of Cognitive Dissonance... Besides that Playthrough went FUBAR 8 or 10 missions ago and I was on my last legs' last legs.
Unrelated Hero Story.
My Brother had a character in his playthrough he named after himself, those usually die the quickest... But remarkably, despite all odds against it and no matter how bad his play through got, he always lived!
I remember one time his character got separated from the team and was surrounded by Archons, Codexes' and Faceless. (Dark Event)
And he was going through his head if he could even survive this being 2 or so dashes from the Evac through a building and across the street...
But we said fuck it and after a series of Godly Misses and poor movement on the aliens part somehow, someway, he made it to evac completely unscathed with only a turn on the mission timer.
I was just like... Fuck dude...

You know what happened to me today? Playing with the mod “A Better Advent” that adds new aliens and alien ruler-like “Primes”. Forge mission, Sectopod Prime. Shoot from squadsight which still triggers his reaction... and this is where the game breaks, he charges across 30ish tiles as if his movement is unlimited, drops my spark, activates my Skirmisher melee reaction which gives the Sectopod a reaction to kill him. That is a reload I will not feel bad about. That was ludicrious, gamebreaking, and meta as hell on the pod’s part.

Earlier in the mission it crashed, a Engineless derelict car on a lost mission Exploded without any fire or other visual markers, killing my escort target with an exact five damage.

On a related note, what is your guys Favorite Faction in Xcom2?
Reapers, Templars, or Skirmishers? I really wanna know. :3
Personally, while the Templars are better in combat Imho, the Skirmishers are my favorite in terms of Leader, Look, Theme, and how they play, zipping and attacking multiple times a round.

So to change the subject completely, what did you guys think of the venom trailer? Personally for me since I love venom, I love the way he looks in the trailer like they actually made the comic book venom looked great in live action, I also like that Eddy and venom are two separate characters what do you guys think?

Skirmishers. I love how adaptable they are both practically and as a general theme.
That said, I once got a random-gen Templar that was a few steps away from owning a supervillain costume. His body was almost entirely cybernetics, and he was wearing the andromedon helmet. He became one of the most successful soldiers in any of my campaigns, and thus earned a spot in my character pool.

Great Post Insane! But... I think you may have accidentally uploaded two drafts, you kinda repeat yourself at the end there, especially when talking about Eraqus.
It was still really well done though and mistakes happen, you can always fix it. I really hope to see more development for Zodiak like this in the future! :3

He repeated himself because it's a thought that plagues his mind. He was incapable of protecting somebody. As a Knight, he feels responsible.
