I appreciate all of the passion you guys have for RPing. I really do. Part of RPing could and SHOULD include death. Let's face it. Soldiers will die, and people will mourn. If you are able to create an interesting character, and you've created some solid journals, the legacy will live on forever.

I'm not completely following what you're saying. 2-3 journals per day is way too much. Are you referencing days or episodes?

I totally understand. If you guys have an alternative solution that would keep things cohesive, easy to follow, and ensures that the experience isn't dominated by a few main RP'ers, then I am all ears.
