Update. My mom is out of the hospital and lost 11 pounds worth of organs in the surgery. But she's doing okay. She's managing to eat and walk around with her staples in so she's doing better.

My mom's surgery went well! She's recovering in the hospital now and she seems to be on good spirits. Might be a while before she can walk though.

Why not do a little of both?

Hey buddy. It sucks but I'm here for you too. We're both having a really shitty new year.

Yeah. They've our her on hold for weeks and oir insurance company refuses to let the general hospital do the surgery. Because Insurance companies are the ones to make the medical decisions in this country, not the medical professional.

Just working on getting my Mom into surgery. It's been almost a week and she's been to 5 different hospitals but no one is authorized to do it so we keep getting out on hold.

Sorry I've been being quiet you all. My mother is going through some rough stuff right now and she's been in and out of the hospital for the last few days with very heavy bleeding. I'm really glad to see everyone talking and getting along though.
