Ok so what do we want to do? can get a townhall here make a decision.

We can do one of these items:

  1. Try to clean this shit up, upgrade the forum and find a solution for spam
  2. OR I can flip us to using discourse with a new forum: https://www.discourse.org/

https://www.discourse.org/ would be cleaner, and fix most of not all the issue. Downside. You will loose existing posts. Spam is so hardcore here I have no way or migrating stuff over.

No, Sarge, no we don't... no one among the still active members knows how to reach you.

Right now it's just 5 of us left, Me, Frost, Zombs, B0 and Dahl... as the newest member I feel it's best for me to leave the decision to either Frost or Zombs

I'd prefer to keep the site. We have a lot of private rps still going on. Well at least I do with Zombie.

Maybe after the bots are gone we can try to do another RP? Get some feelers out? Try to bring some people in.

I understand. Ok for now i have killed new account signups. I am going to upgrade the forum software this week to the latest release. It has some nice bot fixes. I will then stick around to monitor the situation. I have already deleted about 200k+ of spam posts and around 1900 spam accounts.

The problem really is, some of these accounts are registered, I cant find them and they might randomly post. So I will have to keep eye out. I will post a update once I wrap up upgrades. Luckly the site is very cheap to host. I have it setup on a digital ocean host its like 5 bucks a month.

Late to this party (Took a few tries to get into my account), but I agree with everyone here. I'll try to see (after the update) about putting the site's name out there on various platforms to try and draw in more people. That said, we'll need some main RP running so people stay interested and, well, stay.
