Cast of the Circus

Hello all this is the place to put your bios of your characters for Circo de el Diablo! I'll start off by introducing our ringleader!

Name: L.J. Rodriguez


Age: 26


Gender/Pronouns: Agender, they/he


Species: Incubus


Alliance: The Circus


Position: Ring leader


Talent(s): He’s incredibly charming, this helps him recruit people and convince others to part with their currency, or other valuables, to help keep the circus afloat and in a comfortable state of affairs.


Weapon: Longsword


Powers: Charm (Bending people’s wills to his own design), Frenzy (A sort of rush of magically enhanced rage, allows for savage fighting abilities)


Appearance: He’s about 7’0”, sheet white skin, charcoal black hair, his eyes are black and white (the whites of his eyes being black, the iris white), often wears a white button down shirt with black slacks and a white top hat over his ivory horns. His lower arms (elbow and below) are blackened and large, sharp claws adorning his hands.


Personality: Charismatic to the nigh extreme some days, a recluse others, he flips back and forth between the two. On his recluse days, he’s holed up in his trailer, no one but perhaps his closest inner circle knowing what it is he does in there. On his charisma filled days, which are much more frequent, he’s charming, he’s exciting, and he’s dangerous. He’s the type that could get the last dollar out of a beggar without even trying. Least to say, avoid him either way if you know what’s good for you, if you aren’t already a part of the circus.

Name: Diana Lycan


Age: 22


Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her


Species: Werewolf


Alliance: Circus


Position: Trapeze, Caretaker


Talent(s): She’s very flexible and agile physically, along with her petite size this makes her fly through the air with ease


Weapon: Twin serrated daggers


Powers: Transformation (clearly, into her wolf form and back)


Appearance: She’s around 5’6”, long white hair/fur, with wolf ears and tail and pale skin with red eyes. She is a bit on the petite side, helping stay quick on her feet. She wears a layered, black and white dress, black being the primary layer with white being under it.


Personality: Quiet and reserved usually, though is very caring… despite being on the defensive side. If you do end up angering her, she can and will blow up on you. However, that is rare and she is slow to genuinely anger. Once you get to know her and she opens up to you, she has some more wolfish tendencies, such as keeping skins in her trailer, but that in itself is a different story. She is known to be more protective once opening up to you and will have a loyalty like no other, unless you hurt her. In that case, you are screwed.

Position: Beast Tamer (Lions)


Talent(s):

Can tame and calms beast of any kind and bend them to her will, though she does it best with felines such as Lions or Tigers.


Weapon: Whip


Powers:

Dominate Beast (Gain full control of a non humanoid creature. She has found that cats are easier than others.)

Extend Whip (Increase the reach of her whip.)

Razor Whip (Makes her whip lethal and sharp. Meant for combat rather than entertainment)


Appearance:

Silcia has long brown hair with various black and grey spots covering it. Her cat ears are small and her tail is pure black. She wears a red maids outfit outside of the show and a black jumpsuit on stage.


Personality:

Silcia is a kind and generous person, not letting anything get in between her and her friends (or cats). She is willing to do anything for the people and animals she cares about, regardless of risk. This often gets her in trouble for other people's mistakes, though she does not take betrayal very well.

Name: Kendric Kleindale


Age: 31


Gender/Pronouns: Male


Species: Human


Alliance: The Hunters


Position: Tracker


Talents:

Exceptionally good at finding and tracking demons and other creatures. Also is a skilled marksmen.


Weapon: Crossbow.


Powers:

Detect Otherworldly Creature: Can detect the location of a mythical creature of any kind.

Holy Blast: Can infuse his arrows with holy energy, causing them to explode on impact.

Rapid Draw: Loads his crossbow at an increased rate


Appearance:

Kendric is a short and stocking person, many calling him a dwarf. He has short ginger hair and a large braided bread. He wears a large, grey armored jacket with black studded leather pants.


Personality:

Kendric is a blunt and serious man. He is very stubborn and arrogant. The one thing is lives for, however, is the hunt. When finding or hunting a new prey, he usually has a devilish grin on his face.

Name: The Jester


Age: unknown


Gender/ Pronouns: Male, though he says we when referring to self


Species: Demon (unknown which)


Alliance: The Circus


Position: Juggler of knifes


Talents:

Is exceptionally good a hand-eye coordination and balance.


Weapon: Knives


Powers:

Curving Throw: Jester can throw in such a way that his knives curve through the air.

Duplicate: Jester can create a copy of himself. This copy acts just like him and can fight alongside him.


Appearance:

The Jester’s true appearance is unknown as he wears a full black and red Jester costume and a mask over his face.


Personality:

Jester is a man of many things. He’s kind, funny, mysterious, and ruthless. Little is known of the man behind the mask, not even his real name. Despite this, The Jester is an outgoing being and protector of the Circus.

Name: Lucretzia Hellsing

Age: 13

Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her.

Species: Human

Alliance: Hunters

Position: Lead Hunter


Talent(s): Lucretzia is a genius despite her age, adept at out thinking and out maneuvering opponents, which lends itself well to snuffing out creatures of the night.

Weapon: Various, thanks to her training, but typically uses a disguised syringe of holy water or poison.

Powers: None. However her blood is toxic to certain monsters due to drinking holy water. She is also equipped with rigorous mental training from her parents, giving her a resistance (But not immunity) to mind control.

Appearance: 4ft 2in, Lucretzia is a rather thin and almost malnourished looking girl with gleaming silver hair and eyes. She generally has one large lock of hair covering her right eye along with a cross hair ornament. She can typically be found wearing black leather, but will often slip into a dress to be less conspicuous.

Personality: Despite her family’s famous history of monster hunting, Lucretzia is more forgiving towards monsters. She still see’s them as a blight on the world, but if they are willing to cooperate with her and her hunters, she will find them a comfy place in her living trophy room. However, do not mistake this for an unwillingness to kill the creatures of the night, which she won’t hesitate to do if they put up too much of a struggle. Lucretzia is understandably bored, with monsters being hard to come by these days, mostly thanks to her predecessors. When this little girl does locate them, she is excited to have a chance to bring honor to her family name by removing them, one way or another. Finally, Lucretzia holds her hunters close to her heart and is unwaveringly loyal to her family; she is very unwilling sacrifice their lives unless the threat is severe and there are no other options.

Name: Cadenza Vialli

Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her.

Species: Siren

Alliance: Circus

Position: Stage Hypnotist

Talent(s): Cadenza is skilled with non-song hypnotism as well as an excellent singer and dancer.

Weapon: Long, almost nine foot spear.


Powers: Cadenza has a addicting and alluring voice, common amongst Sirens, which allows her to give suggestions and cause other to fall in love with her. She can also use her large wings to fly short distances.

Appearance: Pale caucasian skin tone. 6’7”, Curly, sea blue hair, which rolls down her shoulders along with the same Sea blue for her lipstick that brings out her bright golden eyes. White feathered wings flow out from her shoulders and down to her wrists. Has fish like scales running down her legs as well as on the back of her neck and the small of her back. She usually wears a flowing blue sequin robe while performing. It is also common to see her with golden hooped earrings.

Personality: Cadenza enjoys the spotlight and attention of not only her audience, but also her friends. She is loud, sultry, proud, and loves to be in charge. However, do not underestimate her intelligence and charisma, she is an expert at getting what she wants from people. She is very close with the other circus members, having been there for a long time and, despite her ability to, doesn’t use her powers to swindle her friends or to get her way with them. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t decide to have some fun and toy with someone now and again, especially if she isn’t getting the attention she wants.

Name: Harley and James McClain


Age: 18


Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her (Harley), Male, he/him (James)


Species: Draconic Demon


Alliance: The Circus


Position: Conjoined Twins, Element Eaters


Talent(s): They are able to sync their movements by reading one another’s thoughts, and they can also make it seem as though they eat their element (see below for which ones)


Weapon: Bow and Arrow


Powers: Electric Manipulation (Harley), Fire manipulation (James), Charge Bow (Grants the arrow an explosion of electricity), Incinerate Bow (Grants the arrow an explosion of fire), Mix Bow (a combination of Charge Bow and Incinerate Bow)


Appearance: They’re conjoined at the shoulder, giving them control over half the body each. Harley has green eyes and amber hair, while James has amber eyes and green hair. They are 5’8”, and due to the mix of hormones in their system, very androgynous in appearance. Though, they do cut their hair differently, as to define how the individual twin appears. Harley’s hair is down to mid back length, while James keeps his to shoulder length. They have a pair of dragon wings on their back, as well as oppositely shaped horns (Harley’s are curved downward, James’s are pointed upward). The pair also wear surgical masks reflecting the masks of comedy and tragedy.


Personalities:


Harley: She’s quiet, very shy and often has her brother speak for her. She wears the Mask of Tragedy, her dark thoughts often being of conflict with her brother’s lighter ones. She’s always the one to convince the pair to get any responsibilities done, such as cleaning their trailer.


James: He’s the social butterfly of the pair, always wanting to go and see new things and people. He wears the Mask of Comedy, his lighter thoughts being frequent and more often than not bugging his sister. He’s always getting the two into trouble, one such method being playing pranks on the patrons of the circus.

Name: Callie “Cottonmouth” Caldwell


Age: 23


Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her


Species: Naga


Alliance: The Circus


Position: Clairvoyant, card reader, pendulum reader, palm reader


Talents: Guitar playing, getting in touch with the dead, reading your past, present and future


Weapon: A venomous bite, claws, and a good ol boomstick (for those who don't know that's a shotgun)


Powers: Clairvoyance (Able to read/see into the future), Toxic Shot (Poisons the shot taken), Toxic Strike (poisons claws for a short time)


Appearance: Her total length is about 16 feet, though she stands with about 6 of those feet in height. Her skin is a pale green, with her hair being a darker shade of moss green (though some of that may actually be moss, since she’s from the Louisiana bayou). Her eyes are a piercing blue colour, and her eyes have no whites to them, just the blue and her pupils, slitted like a snake’s.


Personality: Very southern belle like, though not nearly as conservative in views as one might think. She accepts anyone, no matter what. You killed a man? She’ll get rid of the body. You’re missing a math test? GUESS WHAT SHE GON GETCHA TO CLASS. As long as you don’t hurt her family, you’re gonna get cookies baked and your palms read. She’s also one to bust into random musical numbers. Those who have been around the circus long enough will sing right along. No one questions it.

Name: Alistair Evans


Age: 21


Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him


Species: Unknown, his actual body is a doll made after his first death before joining the circus, nor has he told anyone what he is. (It usually is along the lines of the following: “What are you?” “A doll.” “Before that?” “A dollface :3c” “You know what never mind.”)


Alliance: The Circus


Position: Puppet Master, Living Doll


Talent(s): The ability to control people or objects (such as dolls) as his act


Weapon: Spiked brass knuckles


Powers: Shadow Strings (Allows the manipulation of people or objects),


Appearance: 6’, pale “skin”, he appears as a ball jointed doll, which said joints are visible when he exposes things such as his shoulders or knees. He has a notable tooth gap in his top incisors. He has green eyes, and dirty blond hair.


Personality: He’s like white chocolate on the outside and dark on the inside, which is to say while he’s light and (mostly) happy on the outside, he harbours a much darker inside than he lets on. The only few to know of this is anyone who’s truly gotten to know him. He’s still relatively new to the circus, so no one quite knows of his darker heart just yet.

Name: Sybil Swan


Age: ???


Gender/Pronouns: Nonbinary, she/her


Species: Angel


Alliance: Hunters


Position: Spy/Intelligence


Talent(s): She’s stealthy, which aids in, well, stealth missions. She also has an excellent memory, making intel that she gathers retain much easier than even the best humans.


Weapon: Blessed Pistol is her main weapon of choice, but in a pinch she’ll use anything.


Powers: Prophesize (See a variety of outcomes of choices, and their possibility of happening), Soul Conceal (Hides her from any soul seeing abilities), Shape Change (Sybil can shift into a select few things: Her angelic form, a human form, and a dove. The last form is especially useful in intelligence gathering.)


Appearance: She has short, brown hair, in tight ringlet curls. She has dark skin, with starry looking vitiligo (patches of paler skin, for those who don’t know what vitiligo is) over her nose, hands, and in two bands around her upper arms. She stands around 5’10 with a lithe, frail frame, best to fight at a distance as to not sustain too much damage.


Personality: Sybil is quiet and reserved socially speaking, almost cold. She thinks of herself as a tool of God, so she didn’t really learn to socialise beyond what her job entails. Sure she’ll say hi to be courteous, but only if it’s said to her first, and she usually won’t look up at whoever said it unless it’s a superior to her.
