Appearance:
A fairly straight faced and reasonably handsome man with a light brown skintone. He keeps his hair shaved short. He has a mustache, beard, and goatee combo. His most common attire is black dress slacks and a collared business shirt, and even in trying times he often wears a vest and a tie.

Personality:
Roei is a business man through and through, and a ruthless one at that. Before the outbreak, he was known for his ruthless business tactics and corporate takeovers that left little room for sympathy. Now that he is in charge of a band of survivors in a new, violent world, he has embraced the changes and adapted, becoming even more cold, ruthless, and, when needed, violent. He spares no one from his wrath should they cross him, friend or foe, and believes his rule with an iron fist is the only way he and his group will survive.

Background:
Roei was born in the Capital of the Syrian Arab Republic shortly before his family moved to America because of his father's job. He was the heir to a great legacy once his father took over and built up his insurance firm, and he did not disappoint. Earning top ranks in school and graduating from college a year early, Roei earned his way up the corporate ladder of his father's company, given no special treatment. If anything, he was held to a higher standard and had to work harder for what he got.

This constant pressure, his father's strict discipline, and his status as a boy growing up between two worlds, his original heritage and American culture, shaped him into who he is. In many ways, he was shaped for the better, becoming a determined, intelligent man who knew what he wanted and what to do to get it. But there are dark sides to his personality, everything from sinister thoughts to violent tendencies he has hidden away from the world.

When the undead came and people started to die in droves, most joining the undead in their hunt for flesh, Roei took it upon himself to take charge of a large band of survivors. His tactics as a lead survivor were just as ruthless as his business practices, with him taking whatever they needed from anyone not in their group. Many hated him for that, but not those who joined him. Soon, he carved out a large group of survivors that now act as a dominant force in the city, and most who know of him are willing to resort to his ruthless tactics in order to join him and survive.

Appearance:
Zahra is an attractive young woman with a strong build of average height and weight. She keeps her appearance straight laced and professional, even in trying times, in order to set a confident example for those around her. As such, she stick to business attire for the most part. Her hair is kept in a tight bun, giving the undead less to grab at.

Personality:
Because of her strict upbringing under a pair of traditionalist parents, Zahra had to work hard to prove herself growing up. This shaped her into a strong, confident woman who takes no crap from anyone. On the other hand, she had a strong support network of friends and teachers, and never lost her sense of right and wrong and, despite her cold exterior, within beats the heart of a humanitarian.

Background:
Zahra's parents were ten years removed from their original home in Syria by the time she was born, and thus she was more exposed to American life then anything else. Her parents were strict but more lenient on her then her brother, the boy being the one they had put all their stock into carrying the family legacy.

Zahra was planned to have a more lax future, slated to be a traditional housewife. Zahra, however, had other plans. She looked up to her brother while simultaneously resenting the attention he recieved, and worked to get that attention. While never quite reaching his level of perfection, she proved herself both at school and in the business world. She had too much of a concious to make it up the corporate ladder quite as fast as her brother, but she made her own strides.

When the world went to hell and the dead rose to prey on the living, Zahra naturally ran with her brother and his band of survivors for a time. It was during this time that she saw the depths of her brother's ruthless nature, a dark side of him that she either never realized was there, or more likely she never wanted to admit she saw. She left his side after only a week, finding another group of survivors who, while not nearly perfect in their own ways, at least didn't prey on others like her brother did.

Appearance:
Ryou is a gorgeous woman who could have just as easily been a model instead of a doctor. She is short and thin but very busty (a product of being overweight as a child), has a beautiful face, and the cutest little mole on the top of her right breast. Said mole is fairly obvious considering the loose, revealing blouses she wears in addition to stockings and a short skirt. She is often seen in a white doctor's coat, even outside of work.

Personality:
Ryou is extremely rambunctious and flirtatious. She hits on men all the time, and even flirts with women at times despite claiming to be straight. She is constantly smiling and cracking jokes. While her personality causes friction with those above her, she has a very good reporte with her fellow doctors and patients, and is quite popular for a number of reasons.

Background:
Ryou comes from a long line of nurses and doctors. He parents met in the very hospital where Ryou would be born. It is little wonder that she would come to study medicine to one day be a great doctor like her father.

Ryou had a pleasant childhood and did very well in school. She was as beautiful as she was smart, and had no problem showing off her womanly charms for favors. This never applied to her school work, however, and she earned every high mark she gained.

Wanting a little spice in her life and not wishing to work in the shadow of her father, she studied medicine in America. There, she once again recieved excellent grades and made her way through medical school with flying colors.

She primarily focused her studies on respiratory illnesses, and did well as a doctor in Chicago, Illinois. She got in trouble thanks to an illicit affair with another doctor, however, one that was older and more respected then her. When their relationship was exposed, he got away with dumping all the blame on her. Rather then be relieved of duty at worst and shunned by her peers at best, she decided to resign from her position and seek employment elsewhere.

She decided to choose a smaller city this time, where her skills would be better appreciated and people wouldn't be as uptight. She knew that latter would never happen if she returned to Japan, so she instead moved north and found a small city of Windcrest to call home. She has been there for several years now, and has earned a reputation as a respectable, kind doctor, as well as a fun person to be around.

Appearance:
The definition of petite, Jo is short, thin, and flat chested, to the point that she has been compared to having the body of a preteen boy, especially by those who wish to get a rise out of her. She has bright pink hair and pink contacts to emphasize her minimal physical femininity. Luckily she likes the color pink, and is often seen wearing pink.

Personality:
Suffering from depression and an inferiority complex, Jo has a great sense of humor when in a good mood, but those good moods are few and far between. Her only friend usually has to push her due to a lack of motivation. That being said, hard times have taught her the importance of being a decent human being and the impact negativity can have on others. She has a high moral center and will act to help the needy, though not often enough when it comes to defending herself.

Background:
Jo always seemed to be something of an outcast no matter where she went. The fourth child of the third woman her father had children with, Jo drew short of the genetic straws. While her half siblings all grew tall, healthy, and strong, Jo's growth was stunted and she remained quite small. She never got along with her siblings either, especially as they grew older and left her behind, and as the youngest, blame always seemed to trickle down to her, and she got yelled at a lot by their single father.

School was much, much worse. She was bullied, mostly emotionally but occasionally physically, for any reason the bullies could come up with. Her size, which made her quite self conscious about her appearance. Her cheap clothes. Her nerdy side. And worse of all, as she got older, racial difference fueled the bullies, as she was one of the few Caucasians in a primarily Latino school district. The teachers did nothing significant to help and Jo was driven deeper and deeper into a pit of self loathing and depression.

Things looked up somewhat when her father got off welfare and got a decent paying job, met someone at work, and the pair decided to move north to be close to a worksite as well as friends and family in Michigan. Given the opportunity to leave her old world behind and get a fresh start, the fifteen year old Jo was only too glad for the move, even though it meant finishing half the school year at another school.

Things were better, but old problems started to come up. The damage had been done to Jo's confidence and ability to socialize, and the bullying started again for a number of old reasons combined with now being the new girl.

Luckily, Jo found a friend and kinship in another outcast, Samantha Brown, the two growing close quickly. They both had their issues and the problems, but together they made each other whole. Sammy was the key to happiness that Jo had wanted for so long, and nothing seemed like it could go wrong as she started the final year of high school...

Eric has let himself go for quite some time. He's obese and doesn't seem to care, saying if anyone has a problem with his size and weight, that is their problem. He only wares professional clothes when it is absolutely necessary, and otherwise wares casual ware that is loose fitting and allows for lounging.

Personality:
Eric is the lazy sort who nonetheless raises himself on a higher pillar then those around him. Always seeking power and money, he feels it is some kind of cosmic joke that he is not in a better place in life that has nothing to do with him being unwilling to work for what he wants. He is an irritable, argumentative man who often complains like a child when he doesn't get his way. He fancies himself a leader, but those who would follow him should be wary.

Background:
Eric is fat, lazy, and unmotivated, and that is being as kind as possible. He has coasted through life on the charity of others, or cheated to get where he is.

An only child to a wealthy father, an owner of a real estate agency, Eric was spoiled all his life, never really having to work for what he wanted and constantly pushing his considerable weight around. This led to him being quite unpopular in school, as well as after school, and he has few he'd call friends, but in his head it is all because they don't recognize how great he truly is.

Eric continued to coast through life until a new, upstart newcomer was hired at his real estate firm. Despite his low intelligence and lack of selling skills, Eric was able to maintain his job thanks to his father, though he never moved up in the ranks. He saw it as entirely unfair that the new guy was soon promoted ahead of him, despite said new guy putting in the work to get his promotion. They are now locked in a bitter rivalry and wish the other fired, a fruitless effort as one will not be fired as he has done nothing wrong, and the other will retain his job as long as daddy protects him.

Appearance:
Tony has a stern, humorless expression on his face at all times that tends to intimidate others. Other then that, he is a man of reasonable handsomeness with a fit figure, something needed for his line of work. He is often seen in business attire, even when off the job and relaxing.

Personality:
Tony is a primarily humorless man who rarely cracks a smile. He is all business and doesn't get along well with those that aren't, especially butting heads with people with a more clownish personality. He's a brutish man, a thug who pushes his weight around to get his way. He isn't afraid to get physical if need be. He doesn't get along well with others, but it is worse with non-Caucasians. He can be quite the bigot, but he is smart enough to turn his racism down when more important things need doing.

Background:
Tony was introduced to crime at a young age. He was constantly making runs for the local mobsters, always admiring the wise guys. They took what they wanted and didn't take any crap from anyone. He soon started to skip school to earn extra points with them. A few convincing words from the mobsters made sure he could skip school whenever he wanted.

As soon as school wasn't a problem anymore, he officially joined the mob as an enforcer. For a while, he was having the time of his life. It wasn't the safest job in the world, but he was making money, he had woman, booze, and best of all, respect. He found moving up through the ranks harder then he thought, though.

He made an enemy of one of the made men directly above him. While this would often mean he'd be put down, the man in question was satisfied with just keeping Tony down. Tony was pushed to his limit, and actually planned to wack the made man, getting some others to work with him. One by one, however, they either started dying or being sent on missions where they were caught by police.

Smelling a setup of his own coming, Tony decided to get away for awhile. Feigning a desire for a vacation, he decided to do a little travelling east to let the heat die down. He has seen a few sights so far, actually enjoying his time off, and is currently passing through a small city named Windcrest, Michigan.

Appearance:
Time hasn't been too kind to Derick and he certainly shows his age, though he takes care of himself as best he can. He is winkled and frail, and confined to a wheel chair. He often wears collared shirt and slacks to look somewhat presentable.

Personality:
Very little can be said about Derick's personality in a positive light. He's a sheep, a spineless follower that does whatever others tell him to do, particularly his wife. Years of constant berating has worn him down to the point that he really doesn't have much of an opinion of his own and will do what others tell him to do, again mainly his wife.

Background:
Derick worked as a patent clerk his entire life and enjoyed his simple, mundane life. Derick is definitely a follower, not a leader, and has no problem with others telling him what to do. He met his wife somewhat late in life, the two not marrying until they were in their late forties. She has controlled every aspect of his life ever since.

Derick does little to take care of himself, leaving most of that to his controlling wife. His legs barely work anymore, and he has been confined to a wheel chair for the last five years. Time has not been kind to Derick, the man aging terribly and being in fairly poor health.

Derick is a religious man in many respects, though not nearly the religious zealot his wife is, something that displeases her to a great extent. He usually just nods his head and does what she says anyway. One must question if he is so beaten down by life and his relationship that he no longer wishes to ever share his opinion, or if he simply is no longer capable of an opinion of his own.

Appearance:
Stella was something of a looker in her youth, and that still shows a bit despite her old age. She takes good care of herself and time has been good to her. She is tall and lean, not the healthiest but fit enough for her age. She doesn't wear anything special, partial to t-shirts and sweatpants.

Personality:
Stella is stubborn, slow to follow orders, and she never shys away from sharing her opinion. She pushes people around and feels like others should do as she says simply because she knows better, especially young people whom she has a low opinion of. Worse yet, she is a religious zealot, a strict believer in the word of God down to the letter and has a very low opinion of anyone who isn't as religious as her, and very, very few are.

Background:
Stella was a department store worker her entire life and, while never making it above the position of lead manager at her store, led a comfortable life and now leads a comfortable retirement.

What makes it less comfortable then it could be is Stella's attitude. Despite nothing ever really going bad for her in life, especially as an adult, she has grown bitter and resentful in her old age. She wants and expects to be control of every situation and throws a fit when that isn't possible. This can be seen in how she controls practically every aspect of her husband's life, treating him like a child and yelling at him constantly for the smallest things.

Stella has a particular problem with young people. "Youth is wasted on the young" is a belief she holds onto and isn't afraid to share with others. She additionally "found God" about twenty years ago. It was the best thing to happen to her spiritually and the worst thing to happen to her social life. She has the bible practically memorized and insists God has their hands in every aspects of life. Bad things only happen to bad people, and the reason she is so "happy" is because she is a good person. Most of those around her are sinners worthy of contempt.

Appearance:
Samantha is into expressions of her dark, goth nature. She's attractive in her own right, with a pretty face, lean body, and fair bust, though a lot of this tends to be hidden behind a lot of dark makeup which, while it doesn't stiffle her attractiveness, it does turn off those with a negative stigma against goths, something she is okay with. She wears tight fitting shirts and short jean shorts, not to show off her body, but just because she finds them comfortable.

Personality:
Many write off Sammy as simply being a typical 'punk', with no ambitions and a desire to laze about and take what she wants from others. She certainly gives off that air, and having a problem with authority and iffy grades doesn't help. But through and through she is a good person who simply believes those in authority are too high on themselves, and she responds well to those that give her a chance. If she's a punk, she's a punk to other punks, and has gotten into numerous fights with bullies, even those that hide their bullying well.

Background:
Sam's troubled youth begins with parents who likely shouldn't have had a child if they had no intention to take the time to raise her. Fairly well off with both parents having high paying jobs that demanded most of their time, Sammy spent most of her childhood being raised by nannies and babysitters of various sorts.

She started lashing out early, jealous of other children that got to see their parents and angry at her parents for their neglect. She argued with adults, got into fights and committed other negative acts to get whatever attention she could, and by the time she hit her teens, she had developed a nihilistic attitude towards life and a goth persona, much to the displeasure of her parents and their respectable image. Faced with a trouble child who mostly lashed out because she needed love and attention, her parents did what they thought was most sensible; they sent her away.

The teen was moved to live with her aunt in Michigan, an aunt that had more time and patience to deal with a troubled youth, though she had seen very little Sam over the years and didn't know enough about her to help all that much.

Of course, Sammy wasn't a bad kid, she just lashed out to get the attention all children desire. Inside she was a good kid, proven a few years later when, on a whim and on her own, she stood up against four bullies that were picking on a classmate. She proved too much for them, and winning the fight unfortunately meant a longer suspension, but when she returned, the girl she helped, Josephine Anderson, started talking to her and they became fast friends.

Jo doesn't quite realize it, feeling their relationship is one sided with her getting all the benefits, but Sammy has benefited quite a bit as well. She now has someone to care about, someone who cares about her, and a reason to go on with each day in a world that has labeled her as something of a lost cause because of her attitude and her makeup.

Background:
Larry led an average, normal life, with average friends, average, friendly parents, and average grades. He likes to laugh about his past and say how he's such a boring person. That being said, there is one aspect of his life that he doesn't care to talk much about.

Larry studied writing, research, and journalism in college, and moved his way through various tabloids before making a career at a newspaper of a city outside of Phoenix. A few years ago, a serial killer swept through his city, and started sending letters about his killings to Larry's newspaper. Larry was chosen to write about the killings and the letters, and he was only too excited to do so, at least at first.

As the killings became more morbid and grotesque, and the killer's pride in his killings grew, Larry found it harder and harder to remain objective in his writing. He eventually started to condemn the killer more and more and even posted a profile of the killer he had made up himself. This seemed to anger the killer, and Larry's girlfriend was his next victim.

Fearful for his own life, Larry packed up and got ready to move. The day before he was to leave, however, the killer attacked him in his home. Larry was ready, however, having procured a handgun to defend himself. Larry was injured in the attack, including cuts and bruises and a shot to the leg, but in the end, the killer was dead with a bullet in his head.

It was over, but Larry wasn't about to stick around where all the bad memories remained. He moved up north and found himself in his girlfriend's hometown of Windcrest, Michigan, where he quickly found another job at the local paper. Bad luck seems to have followed him, however, as he has been chosen to write about another series of killings. Called the cannibal killings, the victims who have been found all seem to have been at least partially eaten by their attacker...

Background:
High spirited and always ready for action, Mei started getting in trouble at a young age. She is a good girl at heart, brave, righteous, and willing to help those less fortunate. But she was also an impatient girl who was doing poorly in school and getting into fights.

When her parents learned she had picked up some less then wholesome habits, like pickpocketing bullies to give to the poorer kids, and was secretly using some of those funds to learn martial arts, she was shipped off to her older cousin in America in the hopes that her disciplined lifestyle would teach Mei patience and respect.

Interestingly, her cousin found solice in her own martial arts training, and it was this that she felt was the best way to teach Mei patience and respect. So did her training begin in full, and she has made great strides in her young age. She is still fairly reckless and impatient, but her training has had some of the desired effects. She now defends herself rather then simply beating up others, and her school work has improved. If only her parents knew it was because she was being taught how to fight..

Background:
Yu Yan started her Martial Arts training at a very young age, some might say when she was old enough to stand. Now a skilled practitioner of Kung Fu, she nonetheless developed interests beyond Martial Arts.

Thrilled by stories, books, and movies in her youth about globe trotting adventurers seaking out grand buried treasure of the past, Yu Yan quickly developed an interest in archaeology. Her father, her primary Martial Arts teacher, wanted her to focus on said Martial Arts, but understood that it was something she had to choose for herself. Ultimately, she chose to turn her attention towards her schoolwork while practicing her Kung Fu on the side. Paul is arrogant and pigheaded. He knows what he wants and expects to get it at a moment's notice. This, unfortunately, comes from getting exactly what he wants, spoiled by parents, teachers, and peers. He has a clownish personality, making jokes at inappropriate times, said jokes usually inappropriate themselves and at the expense of others. This is especially true when it comes to the fairer sex, as he has little to no respect for women. He knows what he wants and takes it, and doesn't mind resorting to violence.

Background:
Paul truly is a product of his upbringing. An only child, he was spoiled by his parents and peers thanks to his natural athletic talents. What's more, he looked up to his father and emulated him, despite him being a bad role model. While he never bullied Paul, he bullied others, from colleagues to coworkers to even friends, so why shouldn't Paul do the same. His father thought little of women, even his wife, so Paul did the same. He taught Paul to take what he wanted and that the strong should rule over the weak.

It puts one in an odd position where Paul isn't entirely responsible for his actions and one could feel sorry for him. On the other hand, this doesn't change what a bad person he is. Since early childhood, he's pushed others around to get what he wants. What's worse, he hides behind a facade of being a decent person who just wants to help others out. To be a good model.

Sadly, the only ones who know who he really is are his victims and those friends and teachers that chose to ignore it for their own benefit, whether it be hanging out with a popular friend or benefitting from how good of a football palyer he is. They are only hurting him, as his bad attitude, lack of prospects, and poor grades means he'll have few options should his football career fall through.

Background:
Mary had a fairly pleasant youth. A healthy upbringing, a good education, and loving parents set her on a good path in life. Her trouble started shortly after graduating hugh school, when what was supposed to be a one night stand ended in pregnancy.

The father was responsible, at least at first. He married Mary and even seemed like a good father that cared about their daughter. Then he lost his job, struggled to find a new one, and the occasional drink turned into full blown alcoholism. He was a mean drunk, and verbal abuse became the norm. This eventually gave way to physical abuse.

Such abuse was focused on Mary, the husband somehow maintaining his guise as a good father to his daughter. She was simply too young to understand. He only hit her once in a drunken rage, and once was enough for Mary. Somehow she managed to trick him into going outside and locked him out. Now on a drunken bender, the man went off to break into a store for more alcohol and injured one of the officers that came to investigate.

He was sentenced to four years, and Mary took advantage of his situation to escape. She was able to force him into signing the divorce papers with the promise he would see his daughter when he got out. She lied. As soon as the divorce was settled, she fled to America, cutting ties with everyone back home to assure he couldn't find them.

Mary is now a fairly successful architect, finishing up school before her husband fell off the wagon. She tries to stay out of the limelight, fearful that her ex will be able to find her, but there is only so much she can do to hide herself. Her number one priority is her daughter. While she doesn't like how her daughter still has a positive opinion of her father, she recognizes that she wouldn't understand and is waiting for the right time to explain the truth.

Michelle had trouble adjusting to American life. Luckily, only seven at the time of the move, her young mind was able to pick up on the language quickly. Her natural charismatic charm made other students gravitate to her and she soon became very popular, the adorable girl with the cute French accent.

Three years later, and she is finally developing into a well adjusted child, smiling more and more and doing well in school. She misses her father, not old enough to fully grasp the reason she can't see him anymore, and clings tightly to a scarf he gave her when she was six, before he devolved into the monster her mother would have to flee from.

Background:

Daniel had a much darker side then his father, however. While he respected the man's political achievements, he though the man too soft, never willing to do what was needed to really push himself ahead of the others. Daniel expected loftier places for himself. He would run this country some day, and would get all the fame and respect he deserved.

Daniel has used every underhanded tactic in the book to further his political career, from frame jobs to lofty political promises, from ties with criminals to both giving and accepting bribes. Those who know him well are complacent with his actions as long as he brings them to the top with him, and he is careful to keep them happy. Those that don't truly know him think he's a great, charismatic leader that is going to do great things.

He is running for governor of Michigan and is thought to be the one who will win the coming election, though he does not plan to stop, hoping to make a name for himself quickly and become history's youngest U.S. president some day soon.

Stern and serious, Jackie is devoted to his job and little else. Many would call him humorless, and he wouldn't neccesarily disagree with them. Background:
"It could never happen to me" is a belief many have until it does actually happens to them. Such was the case with Jackie's family before the nine year old boy came home from school one day to find his father butchered, the third of fourteen victims of the New England Ripper, a serial killer who terrorized the east coast. Jackie would require years of therapy to deal with his pain, and in the end, it was the case going cold and Jackie's determination to bring his father's killer to justice that snapped him out of his depression.

Devoting himself to mental and physical training, Jackie joined the D.C. police department right out of college, but he knew that wouldn't be enough. He made a name for himself and got recognized for his achievements in record time, quickly being hired by the FBI. The first case he requested was that of the New England Ripper. The case had been cold for over a decade, and his superior gave it to him mostly to teach Jackie a lesson of how things weren't as simple and easy as he might think, giving him three weeks to crack the case.

Jackie did it in two, and had a week remaining to tackle and solve another case. While many, if not most, would be tempted to take justice into their own hands, Jackie was fine letting the killer rot in prison for a while before attending their execution. Justice was served but Jackie's job wasn't done. Jackie would distinguish himself by solving one difficult case after another over the next several years.

The man was aided by an unseen force that seemed to guide his hand. Always a crack shot from the time he first held a gun, Jackie became known for his incredible accuracy, hitting targets in the dark, at incredible distances, and even at seemingly impossible angles, sometimes all at once.

Of late, Jackie and his partner have been tracking another national killer. They finally caught him shortly before crossing the US border into Canada, and are making their way south to Detroit, Michigan to hand him off the the FBI agency there. Just a quick stop at Windcrest after crossing Lake Superior and Jackie will be on to his next case.

Appearance:
Young, strong, and attractive, though with a messy attire, Frankie has natural looks hidden behind a lack of care for what he looks like. He at least keeps himself in good shape, needed for intimidating others. He dresses in casual attire that is easy to move in, not caring much about fashion.

Personality:
Life has been hard on Frankie so Frankie is hard on life, and everyone who is a part of life. I.e., everybody. Hotheaded barely begins to describe Frankie's attitude problem. He has zero respect for authority and doesn't mind showing it. Cross Frankie and he'll lash out violently. He is motivated by little more than his hatred for life, though he is vastly loyal to his friends/fellow gang members, and is additionally motivated for a lust for money to buy all the things life denied him growing up.

Background:
Frankie had decent prospects at one time. He had a future, built off a past with loving parents and plenty of friends. Then his parents died, and Frankie was all alone. They were killed by a pair of young men, members of a gang known as the blue dragons, who were trying to rob them.

It is somewhat ironic that his life was ruined by a gang and yet he would end up in a gang himself. Alone, angry, and stuck in a series of orphanages, he wanted revenge for what happened to his parents and no one seemed to care. His lust for revenge would consume him. His anger would consume him.

He was too angry and defiant for anyone to want to want to adopt him, and he did very poorly in school. He simply didn't care. He join a gang as soon as the opportunity arose, proving himself to the Crimsons any way possible, from theft to acts of violence.

In the end, Frankie would get something akin to revenge by slaughting an entire group of Blue Dragons while they were having a meeting. This sparked a turf war between the two gangs, upsetting the balance between the two Detroit gangs that pissed off many of Frankie's fellow gang members. Plenty of them wanted this war, however, so he wasn't really punished.

In the end, the Crimsons would lose the turf war, and ended up fleeing to a small city, Windcrest, where they could both regroup and get new members in a fresh town with few, if no, rivals. They've done well to prepare their forces, and ready to return to Detroit and take back their city.

Appearance:
Young and attractive by all outwards appearances, the baggy clothes she wears hide a malnourished girl underneath. Other then that, she is fairly attractive. Patty is often seeing in whatever hand-me-downs or charitable clothes she can get. As stated, she prefers clothes that hide how unhealthy she is.

Personality:
Patty is very shy and reserved. She talks to few people and few people talk to her, and she is fine with that. She finds talking to others often leads to bullying over her unpopular status, cheap clothes, or unpopular hobbies. Talking to others always seems to just cause more trouble, so she is most often seen alone reading one of her books on myths and legend or the occult. On rare occasion, one might spot her drawing. She has quite the artistic talent, but is fearful of others judging her.

Background:
Patty is the eldest of three children to a woman who faced a series of unfortunate circumstances. Disowned after getting pregnant at seventeen, she might have led a decent life with her soon to be husband, whom she had three children with. When he died five years ago, however, he left his family and his jobless wife with no savings, no insurance, and a mountain of debt.

Thus, Penny's family has been in quite the poor position for half a decade, literally and figuratively. Life is hard at home, with poor, hand-me-down furniture and clothes, little entertainment, and such little food to go around that Patty often goes without to let the rest of her family eat more, lying about how hungry she is.

To fight off depression and thoughts of hunger, Penny has devoted herself to her studies. She is a very intelligent young woman, as well as being very artistic. She hopes to make something of herself one day, though her shy nature tends to hold her back. She has few who she would call friends, and many look at her as the weird poor girl who is always reading about creepy things like myths, legends, and the occult. They joke that she is searching for some magic spell to make her life better, and they might not be entirely wrong.

Penny has a part time job she works on the weekends at a local convenience store. She has few hours and doesn't make much. She gives most of her earnings to her mother. She keeps a little bit to pay for her own contacts and books, though in reality she simply borrows all her books from the local library and instead uses the rest of her funds to support a casual marijuana habit, another means to fight off depression.

Sazuke is a reasonable attractive man, not having any features that stand out but definitely a looker in his own right. He's in reasonable shape as well, though he could stand to lose a few pounds. He looks fairly professional while at work but tends to be a lot scruffier on his own time. He is often seen wearing dress pants and a dress suit with a loose fitting tie at work, but anything goes at home, from sweat pants to jeans, from t-shirts to a-shirts.

Personality:
Sazuke is fairly laid back and chill, more at home with younger people then those his own age. Some might call him immature, especially considering his chosen profession. He'd argue he's just young at heart. He has a small issue dealing with authority, and while that gets him in trouble with those above him, those working under him really enjoy him and his dry sense of humor at the expense of his superiors.

Background:
Suzuke led a fairly average life, getting average marks in school and having an average number of average friends. Average equaled boring for him, however. He wanted to break free from the monotony that consumed his youth. His father was a surgeon, one of the best in his field, and it was always expected that his son would follow in his footsteps. That's why it was such a big surprise when Suzuke suddenly announced, not one day after high school graduation, that not only was he going to be a teacher, he was moving to America.

His father gave him the expected speech on how those who can't do teach and how Suzuke would never make it on his own and how he had no son if Suzuke didn't come to his senses. It didn't matter. Suzuke had already made up his mind, and once he did that, they was never any changing it. So with the blessings of most of his family and the contempt of his father, off the young Suzuke went to the United States to learn to be a teacher.

He acclimated well to American society, already speaking fluent English and always finding Japanese culture too stuffy. He did odd jobs to get used to the country for a while, then found himself studying for his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Michigan. After that, he took a job opening for a student-teacher in Windcrest to be a homeroom and Science teacher. The school year has just started and already he is butting heads with those above him and making friends with his students.
