Appearance:
Aemilia has a very pale complexion, due in no small part to her tendency to stay indoors. She has a frail appearance, leading a fairly sedentary lifestyle. She has little in the way of visible muscles and weighs a mere 66 lbs. She often wears a think brown cloak with the hood up. Her eyes are a light shade of violet, though few know this as she is never seen without thick bandages over her eyes.

Personality:
Aemilia has a reserved personality, not quite timid but quiet. She is kind-hearted and empathetic to fault, burdening herself with other people's problems and not wishing to burden others with hers. She often stubbornly refuses help, Not because of pride, but because she is afraid of being a bother.

Biography:
Wilhelmina Havenbrook's 'cousin', Aemilia is a young girl that came to live in the mansion ten years ago from a distant relative of Mina's. Little is known about her. She is quiet and keeps to herself most of the time, Mina never talks about her, and the Lady of the house gets incredibly angry when anyone bothers Aemilia, and has been known to fire Hunters on the spot for upsetting the girl.

What is known about the girl is she is kind and polite. She is apparently blind based on the blindfold she always wears, though it barely seems to bother her, and no one knows what her eyes look like. Most curious of all is she looks to be about ten years old, the same age she was when she first came to live in the mansion.

Skills:

Keen Spacial Awareness:
Although limited without the ability to see, Aemilia has a keen sense of her surroundings, and seems to be able to instantly memorize the layout of a room or area to avoid running into things.

Notes:
Rumor has it that Aemilia has Celestial magic, and that she uses this magic to assist herself in her everyday life. This has never been confirmed or denied. She is almost never seen without her best friend, Piggles.

Ferron tends to talk a big game off the battlefield but is something of a coward in an actual fight. Despite this, his talents with a bow are nothing to underestimate, and he is surprisingly quick and nimble.

Growing up in Virando, Chivi rejected the notion many had that Netzi were meant to make weapons for others to wield, not for themselves. Worried she might not be taken as serious in a Virando Hunter's Guild compared to others, she journeyed to Serasam where the Havenbrook Organization was making a name for itself.

Dorothée, or 'Bea' as she prefers, has been with the Havenbrook Organization for five years, and in that time, none have been able to get real close to her. Her past is a mystery, and even her claim to come from Bevland is suspect as her accent and Doloran dialect is unusual for a Bevlander. As she has the skills of an assassin, it is likely she is keeping some secrets about her past, which by now is par for the course with assassins turned Hunters.

She keeps to herself most of the time, even during travel and hunts. She prefers to fight alone, and takes missions where she has as few companions as possible. Still, she has a good track record of protecting allies. She can not change to have more animal features and skills like most Thropes, but she does well enough with her large, bat-like ears and the membrane on her arms that, when combined with her wind magic, allows her to fly for short distances.

Biography:
Growing up in Neren’teva, Faith was always surrounded by elves. Therefore, it’s no surprise that she developed the ability to use magic. She’d always been a pacifist, but when her dad started beating her for no reason in particular, she ran away from home. Sadly, he had chased her down and beat her until she could no longer move. All her friends had watched it happen as well, as they didn’t know what to do and were simply present at the time. Her dad dragged her back inside, having come to his senses (at least a little), and laid her down in her bed.

Although she managed to escape once she had completely recovered (due to her mother’s help in both departments), she had nowhere to go. In need of protection and wanting to become stronger, Faith entered the Havenbrook Hunter Guild. Earning a little gold wouldn’t hurt either.

Skills:
Sharpened Blade - Allows her to sharpen any dull weapons with wind magic, even mid-fight. Also imbues the weapon with the ability to cut through the air a little easier. (Including arrows, throwing knives, etc.)
Knockback - Pushes the opponent away with wind magic, usually also throwing them off balance or off the ground (or both).
Float - Of course, for a Duck Thrope, you have to be able to fly. However, that isn’t so easy while people are constantly trying to hit you every second. In battle, Faith uses her wind magic to float off the ground. Very useful in tight situations, especially if her wind magic is placed in the right areas to keep her balanced. (Basically, she propels herself with wind magic in any direction she chooses)
Natural Eyesight - Ducks naturally have amazing eyesight. So, once she removes the glasses (as they help her be near-sighted), she can see very far distances. Very handy with throwing knives, as they become a lot more accurate over longer distances instead.

Notes:
The gloves and boots allow her to tap into her wind magic mid-battle (like a staff, but easier to wield with other weapons) much quicker and much more precisely. Weaker wind magic is easier to perform mid-battle, obviously, and doesn’t slow her down as much (as using both magic and wasting stamina is very tiring).

Personality: Overly curious, won’t back down from a challenge, excessively friendly (forced), obedient, grateful, has sense of humor, ambitious, honorable, excessively happy (forced), reliable, self-conscious, very reasonable.

Biography:

She was a part of the slave trade because her parents abandoned her in Bevland. The reason behind this was that they couldn’t support her on their own and their owners didn’t want to support another slave. She was then bought by an abusive rich family who sold her to the slave trade in Themosa when she was nine because she was too nervous and wasn’t meeting their expectations. She was then bought by a small band of mercenaries when she was and trained to fight with every weapon in their arsenal and spent eight years with them.


Within those eight years she grew very fond of them, thinking of them as the family she never had and they too had grown fond of her, one of the mercenaries even teaching her how to speak Elven. She eventually was encouraged to go and explore the world but she still had to return every few years whilst getting new recruits. No one realised that she could use Celestial magic, not even herself.

Skills:

Godly Defense - Celestial magic coats her armor and shield, allowing her shield to give more knockback and her armor to absorb more damage for her. Effect time is incredibly low.

Celestial Explosion - A sudden uncontrolled exertion of magic power, exhausting its wielder.

Cultured Talent - She can wield any weapon she picks up, no matter how heavy or character-specialized it may be. She is not an expert with it, but she knows its fighting style in combat and can use it somewhat effectively.


Notes: If she loses her shield, she can use her other shortsword and will dual-wield.

Motives: She wants to explore the world and help her mercenary group gain new recruits. She also wants to one day lead her group and no longer be a slave even if she was never treated like one. She wants change. She wants to be admired and respected, not looked down upon and disrespected. She wants to become better than those who were negative influences in her life. She wants to see everything that she couldn’t see as a slave. She desires more friends. Maybe even a relationship stronger than friendship. She wants enough strength to be seen as an idol and be able to protect those she cares about.

Notes: Mags and the Annahsvere family grew up on a farm not far from the guild, one of the ever shrinking number of Serasam farmsteads as the cities continue to get bigger and more advanced. Her father says Mags was born asleep, and her sister Carol can substantiate these claims being the eldest daughter with Mags being the middle sister. They say Magdalene slept for a week straight after being born, spending much of that week in the care of doctors. Then she awoke, no worse for wear but with the tendency to sleep much longer than the rest of her siblings. Mags quickly found a passion in the harp, in which she discovered her unique magical talent to put living things to sleep. Her family supported this talent, getting her the lessons she needed. During a vacation afterwards however, her sister Carol was taken by slavers, an all too familiar story, the criminals forged the paperwork and would only return her for a ludicrous ransom that the family could never hope to afford. Without being able to pay it or anyone willing to free her, Carol was soon moved and vanished for years. These years were harsh on the family, with Mags' mother leaving the farm due to grief over the loss of their daughter, Magdalene also became more reserved than was normal during this time, keeping to herself, her songs, and her dreaming. However, after what seemed like countless hopeless years, Carol was freed by an secret Themosan group calling themselves the 'Railroad'. They were able to smuggle Carol out and carefully escort her back to her home in Serasam, where slavery is illegal. Now together again, the family rejoiced. Mags was inspired by the Railroads desire to help those in need, no matter the risk; and, with some convincing from Carol, decided to join the nearby hunter guild and use her special gift for good.

Notes: Kva is a mysterious figure who arrived one day, seeking to speak to Lady Havenbrook with regards to joining the guild. When questioned on her past, she was detailed on some aspects, but purposefully vague on others, like her appearance and age, citing that she is under vow to only reveal her appearance on someone's deathbed.

According to her, she grew up in a small town in snowy south Virando, a small village called Sissetta, known only for it's massive graveyard and large church of Taydar. This church also doubles as a funeral home for the countless people buried there over the years. The graveyard started three hundred years ago as it was a front in the Nocturnum Wars. The village was captured and recaptured numerous times, both sides burying their dead there, the humans in makeshift mounds, the vampires in elaborate tombs and coffins. At the end of the war, the village was retaken one last time by a force of Dark Elf warriors, many of whom stayed and settled in the village after the war ended shortly thereafter. The deaths didn't soon stop, however, plague, famine, bandits, all took their toll on the town, filling the graveyard up even more and thus attracting the wandering Death Priests of Taydar who built a cathedral there.

There Kva was born, she told us her family was taken by the previously mentioned forces one at a time until only she remained. As an orphan, the priests took in her and raised her as one of their own, teaching her ways to bury and pay respect to the dead. She spent many years here, as she tells us, before she was suddenly struck with an epiphany when a hunter guild slew monsters who were attacking the town. Kva realized that she could do so much more for her god than merely preform rites for the dead, she realized she could bring him powerful souls by killing mighty creatures like the one that had attacked her town.

She then set off, after that Kva explained that she traveled the world, training rigorously under masters of combat famous and obscure, but found her calling with the a royal fencing master in her own homeland of Virando who taught her his lethal dueling techniques as well as a monster hunter in Helvan who trained her how to use a whip which could peel the scales off of monsters and leave them vulnerable.

With this training in tow, she came to us to join and fulfil her duty. We asked why she'd chosen Havenbrook specifically, but when we did, she merely said that she sought Taydar's guidance and simply chose. Whatever the case, she has preformed exceptionally on the missions she's been on, utilizing her skills and rare magic use to temporarily turn herself into smoke. Whether this is all she can do is uncertain, but we will have to see. She has also shown some aptitude for leading, but her careless attitude towards the deaths of herself and everyone else are worrysome for a leader, to say the least. She states that there is no need to fear death, for only when Taydar calls is it truly your time.

Despite all this she is a very potent hunter who quickly rose to B-Rank and continues to prove her skill.

Melinda has a very lean frame. Her taller and thinner than average body is shown in her slightly boney face and arms. Her pure white hair is maintained regularly and her brown eyes contrast with her pale features. She usually wears a black jacket and pants, with either a red shirt or her armor.

Personality:
Melinda is a very mysterious person. Despite her outgoing attitude, many feel like she’s hiding something. Her prefered weapon choice makes her stand out even more. Even with this, she has been known to take care of other in a time of need. Melinda will always help out in whatever way possible, regardless of the risk… even if many don’t truly trust her.

Biography:
Melinda always felt out of place in her childhood. None of the other children would play with her, often calling her weird and creepy. She quickly learned to fend for herself, having no family other than her dying mother. She became a street rat extremely quickly due to her circumstances. Then, one day, Melinda tried to steal from a blacksmith. The smith in question had captured her and, having pity on the poor girl, took her in. This smith was no ordinary smith however… he was a smith of trick weapons.

The smith, Hendrid, taught the young girl everything he knew. She began a natural at the craft, and in the combat of the weapon. But, she still felt something off about herself… like she was different from the others. Like a dark force was inside her. After many years, Melinda decided to leave Bevland, in search of answers.

During her travels, Melinda learned her control over dark magic. This was one answer to the question that developed her: What was she really? Even with this knowledge, she didn’t know that answer. She still felt off, like something still wasn’t right. Soon, she found herself in Serasam, looking for food and shelter.

Skills:
Trick Smith:
Melinda is adept at crafting trick weapons, as well as repairing them.

Shadow Play: Melinda has control over her own shadow, using it to both defend herself and attack enemies with razor sharp points.

Shroud of Darkness: Melinda can summon a large cloud of pure dark energy, blinding any in the field other than herself. The field remains on the field until Melinda dispels it or she runs out of mana.

Entangling Shadow: Melinda can summon a shadow that takes hold of a target and entangles them, impairing their movement.

Melinda still has no idea what is off about herself and is constantly looking for that answer.

Appearance: While at a average height for a woman for her age, Elma has beautiful pale skin with ice blue eyes and has a slightly large bust. Being bore to a noble family she was taught to be noble and wears light make up, and wears royal robes which she switched for her magical one.”

Personality: Elma has a very cherry personality, she is very happy for life and to be alive. She loves helping others and reading all manner of books, and collecting jewelry. While she is not a knight like her brother Charter nor does she swore and oath like herdid she tries her best to keep to the same oath he does.”

Biography: As the youngest of three Elma was pampered by her mother, her mom always wanting a daughter to make a proper noble out of her. However when a spike of ice came out of her hand when she was five her days of being a noble lady was over and her days as a mage began.

Elma parents paid for the greatest teachers books whatever it took to make their daughter one of the better mages in Mirandia, however her mother did still want a proper lady so she still made her wear dresses eat like a noble speak the elven language cursi and other things that a lady should learn.

However when her parents training her, her brothers treated her like she was her age her oldest being the main one that treated her like a normal person. Her big brother Charter would read stories of great heroes to her play with her if he had time, check for monsters under her bed and so on. Once her brother left to become a mercenary Elma cried for days while her other brother Adam was also kind to her growing up she missed her big brother that treated her like a normal person. Elma trained even harder with Charter gone, she always wished to be strong enough to go find him however it was her other brother that told her to let Charter be that he’s a man of the world now and that she should be her own woman and forget about Charter.

But she didn’t she continued her training, and in her effort she learned fire and light magic. When she was old enough she went to a magic collage in Mirandia, and one day her dream finally came true her brother finally came back home. When Charter returned and she saw him for the first time in years she was so happy for about a week.


Once Charter left Elma went back to her sadness and back to her training, until her father told her that if she wanted to go find Charter and explore the world she can. When he told her that she grabbed what she could and left to find her brother and see more of the world.


Skills:

Elemental potency: Elma can use her magic to make some deadly combinations, to devastating effect.

Ice weapons: Elma can use her ice powers to create ice weapons, though she can’t use weapons she can launch them at her enemy.

Note: Unlike most of the other hunters, Elma doesn't like killing nore does she want to get used to it so every so often away from the others she will vomit.

Personality:
Rambunctious and laidback, Ash often seems to be a source of boundless energy when need be but is otherwise very chill. He is playful, especially with woman, and casually speaks with adults like a man twice his age. Growing up a thief, he has a bit of a klepto side to him, stealing as much for fun as for want, and is attracted to shiny things. He is usually seen with a sly smile on his face, but in private, he has been seen with a sad, solemn look, his eyes deep in thought.

Biography:
Little is known about Ash as he only shares snippets every now and then. He speaks of Elluviana with nostalgia, implying he was born there. It was believed he either ran away to Stormrend when he was young, or his parents moved to and died in Stormrend. Either way, he has no known family and despite being a surprisingly skillful smooth talker for one his age, he prefers solitude. He bonds with women easier then men for some reason. His goal seems to be the greatest thief of all time, and despite having an understanding of right and wrong, this doesn't seem to apply to his thieving actions.

Appearance:
With smooth, youthful skin, some might call her "plain" looking, pretty enough but not in a way that stands out. Such beauty is challenged, however, by the numerous scars adorning her legs, sides, stomach, arms, and face, most blatant and very noticeable. She is not one to smile often, often looking sad or angry. Those who know her can see beyond the scars at the beauty underneath. He body is small but curvy, she has a descent sized bust, and she has gorgeous eyes one can get lost in.

Personality:
Jaded is the shortest way to describe Marlena. She is a woman who was spat on by the world, and it shows in her negative view of the world. Over time, with support, her view has slowly started to improve, but there is a deep sadness that is harder to overcome, leading to depression, suicidal thoughts, and fits of anger and frustration. Adding to this is her poor self image over her scarred body, compounded by the negative image beat into her head throughout most of her teen years. She has deep seeded Androphobia, men she is unfamiliar with causing her to either flee or become aggressive with.

Only those who have the patience to work through her negatives are able to see the positives underneath, including a healthy imagination, a child-like sense of wonder, an untapped intelligence, and a general kindness and desire to help the less fortunate.

Biography:
Marlena is from a small, poor village in southern Stormrend, near the border of Merandia. It was right in the center of many conflicts, especially during the countries various civil wars, taxed heavily and often devastated when used as a battleground. When a rich nobleman came to Marlena's home, offering to take their fourteen year old daughter away from this life of poverty to work in his home near the capital, they agreed, wishing her to have a better life while spearing themselves another mouth to feed.

It seemed too good to be true, and it naturally was. He called her his wife, but she was little more then a slave for the first year or so, and then a sex toy for him and his friends. He soon realized he could be making money from her, and prostituted her out as one whom one could do anything with. Over the next several years, she was subject to nearly every means of sex and sexual torture imaginable.

Like any tool, use and abuse broke her down, making her less appealing and thinning the clientele. One night, in a fit of drunken range, her 'husband' decided he was tired of her always frowning and scowling, and carved a smile on her face. Naturally, he regretted it in the morning and tried to sell her with a porcelain mask on. When that didn't take, he locked her in the cellar of an old building he used, hoping she would die off and be forgotten.

She refused to die, however. From a young age, her grandmother taught Malena how to channel chi as well as manipulate her light magic. She used this to fashion life size dolls of wood, imitations of what she was, and puppetef them to do her bidding. Besides retrieving scraps of food and water to keep her alive in that cellar for over a month, she used them to kill her husband and several of his friends. It wasn't enough for her, though. In her madness, she started target any man that was even remotely similar to her husband, murdering over a dozen before she was stopped.

Her dolls destroyed and her true body discovered by a Hunter who showed more understanding then she felt she deserved, she was shown the first kindness from a man in years. Cleaned up and given extensive surgery to make her whole again, she has a long way until her mind can be repaired from its shattered state.

Not bound by strength of the flash, Tezrian's physical abilities is only limited by the strength of the construct. In addition to being powerful, Tezrian makes a good pair with Babani, with most enemies assuming that Babani, as a Netzi, is controlling the construct, only to find out too late that the construct is acting on its own accord and Babani is incredibly dangerous without it.

Terra is a very petite person, looking much younger than she actually is. The young Thrope is pale, with pure white hair and shiny blue eyes. Various scars can be found all over her body as well as the number 60 branded on her right shoulder. Her right hand is missing and she still has a shackle and chain on her left wrist. Having only rags for her original clothes, 60 is willing to wear just about anything.

Personality:
Terra is a curious child who wants to learn about the life she was unable to live. She’s often fidgety and hyperactive at times. That being said, Terra has trouble trusting others and fears Humans and Elves… a fear that will hopefully be overcome one day.

Bio:
Born a slave to a tyrannical owner, the young Thrope wasn’t allowed to have a name. She was only referred to by the number permanently placed on her: 60. In the life as a Themosian slave, Terra had been overworked and beaten almost everyday of her life… the only one protecting her being her father. The two looked out for each other the best they could in the harsh life they were forced to live. Her father told her that one day her mother would return and free them. That day never came.

During a failed rebellion attempted by the slaves, Terra was chained to very ground she fought to obtain. The owner took glee in making her watch as he beat her father and tortured her with malnutrition and daily beatings. In one of these beatings, her owner even severed her right hand. Almost to the point of breaking, Terra’s will slowly whittled away… then her owner pushed her too far. In front of the poor child, he sliced open her father’s throat.

This event triggered a hidden rage within the child. With her only remaining hand, she pulled the very ground that bound her out from it’s earthen hold. The thing that had once took her freedom, now became the weapon she used to fight for it. After slaughtering the owner and his guards, Terra ran from her “home” in search for the freedom she craved for so long.

Skills:
Earthen Manipulation:
Terra can manipulated the density of any earthen material she or her chain comes in contact with. This can make rock as soft as sand, or in reverse, turn a ball of sand into a large boulder.

Uncanny Strength: Despite her size, Terra is immensely strong, capable of pulling her chain with enough force to lift a boulder or even take pieces off of a stone wall.

Chain Link: Terra is capable of channeling her energy into the chain bound to her wrist, allowing it to pierce earth materials that is otherwise would not be able to. This connection is shown by the small stone spike on the very end of the chain.

Battle Rage: If Terra is taken over the her limit, she goes into a state of pure rage, increasing her strength at the cost of losing almost all sense of reason.

Appearance: While being older then all mortals on Terra and some vampires, Alice like all vampires’ looks like she’s in her prime of life in her early twenties. Alice is a stunning woman long hair a stunning figure with a large bust and moderate size hips, Alice is tall for a vampire and a woman and stronger than most humans and other races. Alice is often wearing a button flail shirt with a jacket over her, and what jewelry she wears is typically when she raids and finds what she likes.


Personality: Alice is strong and fearless. Determined and confident, Alice is a stern and sometime ruthless leader. If her men disobey her or show any sighed of rebelling Alice will make examples of the would be leaders, forcing the others to watch her torture them and keep them tied up for days. But to those that know her Alice is a kind person and worries about her leaders and some of her men. Those that excided her expectations they are rewarded and will continue being on her good side and may be assigned bigger assignments, those that fail her constantly will be dealt by Alice herself and depending on her mood you will either get lower work put some were else or in extreme circumstances killed.


Bio: Born on the last leg of the vampire war Alice lost her parents and her older brother a few months after her birth and was left with her older sister Lilith, Alice grew up not knowing what happen to her family but Lilith told her the truth when she was ten. Once Alice learned the truth about her parents she tried to bring them back to life by finding a book on necromancy, that night Alice resurrected her parents and her brother and hugged there dead bodies happy to see them for the first time in her life however this did not last long. When Lilith found Alice that night she scolded her for what she did and her family turned to dust right before her eyes Lilith explained to Alice what she did was illegal, but since she was a child Lilith just gave her a warning to not do it again. Throughout the years Alice gained many human Elf Thophen friends and actually had many relationships it wasn’t until she was seventy that Alice was look to join the band of seven for years Alice trained with many weapons but found a two handed Ax suited her best, for the next eighty years Alice trained to be a part of the seven but during that time her and her sister were inseperatable Alice looked up to Lilith her being a councilor of the city, before Alice was offered to join the seven Alice looked to Lilith like a mother and her best friend whenever she could she was by Lilith side.


One day however Alice saw an opportunity to leave the city and curiosity got the better of her, and Alice snuck out the city through the cracks of the wall. Alice flew the night and for the first time in her life she saw the stars the skies and the moon and was awestruck by the colors of the night and everything around her, she also discovered the horror of the sun when that happened Alice retreated to the nearest cave for days Alice traveled around the land until she finally got hungry. Alice saw a nearby village and went in asking for blood, after a while a villager asked if Alice was a vampire and admitted that she was. It was then that the village turned on Alice and hunted her throwing spears and purified salt at her, in her fear and adrillian that Alice went ferial and attacked the village and drained them of their blood. Alice finally came to her sinces and was terrified at what she did and flew back to the city once back there Alice washed her face of the blood on her hands and mouth, but the next day Alice was brought into custody and was given a trial and was found guilty and was sentence to four hundred year I prison.


During her time in prison Alice was violated by the guards and some of the prisoners, when Alice fought back she got longer sentences which got her sent to isolation were she spent most of her time there. Everyday Alice was hoping for her sister to come and visit her or tell her she’s getting out of prison but for thirty five years in darkness waiting for her everyday she never came, and Alice hatred grew every day since then for not just her sister but to all humans in the facility and the council. During the years Alice grew angrier and angrier it wasn’t until there was an escape Alice cell was open and she went on a massive killing spree killing guards prisoners any that was in her way, once outside she turned into a swarm of pats and escaped and vowed to kill those that left her to rot in that pit of a prison. Since then however Alice has calmed down a bit but only because of her new friends.

Appearance:
Drayce has a youthful look, once considered childish. However, he looks slightly more grown up since his battle with the Chimera, as if it aged him slightly closer to how his adult age would suggest. Along the back of his neck, shoulders, and forearms he has black scales, the orange fringe that used to be on them disappearing. He can grow more scales at will, or when he powers up his magic. He tends to be cleaner than he once was, though his hair still keeps it untamed quality.


Personality:
Drayce upon first arriving at the Havenbrook Organization was a very rebellious, understandable enough for a teenager though he acted almost very toddler like, being comparable to a child when not given his way or embarrassed. He also had a very bad temper, that caused him not to get on too well with the adults, but Drayce seems to have a very unique compassion for females and people younger than him. Nowadays, Drayce tends to act a bit more level-headed, though is still firmly a hot-headed and equally bashful boy.

Biography:
Drayce was born to girl too young to be fully considered a mother. She was only seventeen when the young Thrope was born, though with a strong willed conviction, set out to raise her babe with all she could. For a year, with ups and downs, she largely succeeded with the help of supportive friends. One fateful night however, the small village she lived in was attacked by slavers. Running with her child in her arms, she fled till she was backed into a corner, with the sea a hundred feet below. The slavers caught up, and were out to kill, not to capture the runner lest they leave a witness. She was shot, her body falling with child in hands into the cold waters below.


With the mother dead before she even hit the water, the young baby slowly sunk, water filling his tiny lungs. By a stroke of the gods’ own luck, one of them took pity on the young Thrope. Uladan, god of the seas, saved the child and spirited him away to the farth northern expanse of land untouched by the south so he could live a happy life in ignorance. The dragon who cared for him was a scaleless female in her later years known as Liandriana. She cared for the year old baby as if her own, the child growing up among the dragons and occasionally the sea god.

He had as normal an upbringing as possible, but the fact the Thrope was developing no animal like qualities way past the normal time he should have, he grew depressed and rebellious, going so far as to resent the dragons who seemed to mock him with their abilities. At the age of seven, this boiled over and Drayce ran away from Liandriana in the night, and found himself in a mysterious and large cave in a lone mountain. It was here he woke up and drew the ire of Ragnorak, an Elder God slumbering in the form of a dragon beneath the mountain. Out of sheer laziness, he did not make good on his threat to destroy the continent for being awoken, but in order to make the mopey boy leave, he imparted a gift onto him. Drayce became a dragon finally, with wings and a tail and everything, unknowingly repressing the cat Thrope genes in him.

When Drayce was found again by the dragons, they found his newfound gift suspect, not knowing about the great threat that he almost unleashed. In both protection of the boy and the dragons, a dragon knowledgeable in the smithing arts formed a ring out of meteorite, using it to suppress the vast amount of dark power within Drayce. And so he lived happily for a decade more, having a relatively normal childhood from then on out. However, consensus among the dragons was that they shouldn’t keep the boy from the rest of the world forever. Even Liandriana, who adored the boy as her own was reluctant to agree. So, with the help of Uladan once more, Drayce was sent off, his memories fragmented into many pieces so that he would not remember his way back to the continent in the north, or many of the dragons.

Upon reaching the mainland, Drayce was lost. He had no knowledge, and no guidance for this strange land. As a result, the first town he came across unfortunately was attacked by Drayce. Many died, and the town was razed. Completely shaken, he traveled southwards with haste, learning along the way about the Havenbrook Organization. With no other option, he went there. Drayce was introduced first as an unwanted guest, but was quickly accepted as a member of the guild when it was clear he had nowhere else to go and he likely wouldn’t leave even if they tried to force him.

His relationships were very rocky in the beginning, especially with Hunters Eraqus and Charter when they both threatened him during his first mission out. Without the help of a third hunter, the wolf Thrope Titania, he likely would not have been lulled out of his bestial form. This led to Drayce going to patch things up with Eraqus and more or less forming a rivalry with Charter. With his childlike nature, Drayce also became quick friends with Aemilia, the young blind girl who passed as Wilhelmina Havenbrook’s distant cousin. The two were both fish out of water, and Drayce’s brash yet caring nature appealed to the young girl, the two eventually forming a bond equal to puppy love, a first for the both of them.

Drayce however hit a rough spot in his road to conformity when his past ghosts caught up to him, a bounty being posted on him for the destruction of the town when he first landed causing him to be captured and taken away. He was kept restrained and malnourished, until the three goddesses of wisdom, Nayrun, courage, Forore, and Nid, power. They helped release him on the promise that when he recovered, he would fight the goddess of power. Losing all restraint, Drayce let loose, slaughtering everyone associated with the show that kept him for profit, and even turned his ire onto a close by town to almost repeat the past. The god of the sea Uladan however stepped in to save Drayce, but not before the boy was shot in the chest with a ballista bolt and nearly killed.

This had a very hard impact on Drayce, leaving him depressed and jaded, but with the help of friends did not completely fall to his darker nature. On his second mission against Chimera, Drayce nearly went all out again and completely scared, ran away from his teammates Eraqus and Ferron. This led to his second encounter with the three goddesses, Nid fairly annoyed he intended to back out of his promise. With the help of the three, they helped give Drayce his confidence back. As a show of good faith, Drayce gave Nid the eyesight of his left eye, stating he would get it back when he beat her. He then flew back to find his teammates to find they and the other Hunters seemingly seemed to defeat a mega-sized Chimera, before Ferron awoke the beast. Upon realizing a major part of the Chimera was part dragon, he told his two teammates to flew as he engaged the beast.

He came out on top at first, but more and more as he slipped away, the Chimera and the berserking dragon started a battle that Drayce was slowly losing. Trapped in his own head, he began to recollect his mother and the night she died, as well as they day he gained his powers. With the strength he got from knowing he was loved by the woman he had once hated when he was lied to, saying she threw him from the cliff, not wanting him instead of having saved him to spare the young man the hurt at a young age. With his knowledge, Drayce regained control of his chaotic nature, and turned it on his enemy, quickly disposing of it in quick order. Because of his newfound self and control over his power, Drayce comes into a new age as a better person, striving to be more connected with the people he sees as family and protect them.

Fragmented Chaos Mode- Drayce partially activates his chaos magic, transforming part of his body into a draconic substitutes. This allows him to use a stronger mode of his fire, Chaos Fire.

Chaos Dragon Mode- Drayce completely transforms into his draconic form. He gains a greater control with both chaos and fire magic, as well as heightened senses.

Pureblood Dragon Mode- Drayce goes beyond his dragon form to his ultimate form of control, having a full grasp on his magic. He also gains enhanced body mass, strength, and control of a full-sized scale of Ragnorak, only able to form partial parts of him at a given time.


Notes:
While being a complete Dragon Thrope, before he was changed, Drayce was a Cat Thrope. This shows in his preferred combat style of using his claws over any other means of attack as well as his fascination with mice and napping in strange places.

Drayce has such a control on his Fragmented Chaos Mode that he usually always accesses it in some capacity while fighting, no matter how small, and sometimes even when not in order to use his wings and tail as it feels more natural than hiding the features, though unlike other Thrope, he can appear human without the use of illusion magic.

Despite Drayce being eight years older than Aemilia, he sees nothing wrong with their relationship as he has no sense of taboo, and his emotional capacity is on par with that as a child anyways.

Before the revelation about his mother, Drayce used to conceal himself from the world by wearing drab beige robes, trousers, underclothing and cloaks. Afterwards, he shed a lot of this garb, and now wears something much simpler to pay homage to his mother.

His family started out as farmworkers. Since the Tsar had never sent troops to protect the land, they had to learn to fend for themselves. Zodiak’s great-grandfather was the strongest of the family, taking out troops of raiders with his bare hands. The Tsar had realized his strengths, even going as far as making him his bodyguard. A few of the other stand-out family members were also abducted into the Royal Guard. Starting with his great-grandfather, the first-born son of every descendant was to become the Tsar’s new bodyguard, as it seemed that they were the strongest.

After just one conversation with the Tsar, Zodiak had no interest in becoming his bodyguard, as he was the first-born son of the bodyguard that worked at the time. He felt that the Tsar was a corrupt man who felt nothing for his subjects. Upon telling his father about how he felt, the man simply told him that he had no choice and that he was being ridiculous. His mother offered no help either, telling him that he should just listen to his father and feel proud to become the Tsar’s bodyguard.

Zodiak ran away, hoping that he could outrun his family’s pressures to become someone he didn’t want to be. He searched for a place that would accept him as a human being, wouldn’t expect anything from him or force him to do anything he didn’t want to do. But, most of all, he searched for a better family. His fighting skills he had learned from his family helped him as he made his way through the unfamiliar lands. The only thing he kept from his family as a reminder of the years his family raised him but yet ended up betraying him was his shortbow etched with the family name and his quiver full of arrows.

Eventually, his funds had run dry. His clothes were worn down and his weapon could use some maintenance after the unrealistic amount of enemies he ended up facing throughout his travels. His quiver was mostly full of half-assed arrows from the bandits and raiders he ended up fighting throughout his journey. However, it was only when he walked upon the Havenbrook Hunter Guild that he found something interesting: there was a Duck Thrope sitting on the roof of the building with a stack of books beside her, deep into her own world. This sparked his interest to work for and talk to the people there. Those that would allow a girl to study on the top of their building had to be at least a little accepting of people wants and needs, he thought.

Skills:
Pressure Point Detection: Knows the areas of the opponent where he can incapacitate/stun/paralyze them. Often requires getting past the enemy’s defenses and a little bit of experimentation.
Trick Shot: Shoots an arrow at an awkward angle, forcing it to curve around/glance off objects to attack an enemy. Very effective when objects are in the way between him and the enemy
Unmovable: Takes a stance where it becomes very difficult to move him, which also improves his reflexes and heightens his senses.

  • An enemy to both humans and her own people, Alice escaped prison and her home city to set out on a quest to overthrow the world governments and allow her people to walk free among the land. Despite her harsh nature, she is kinder then she seems, and cares very much about those she works with. Lover of the God of Mischief.

Androdameia (Female Harpy, 4)

  • Hailing from the Evenasa Mountain Harpies, Princess Androdemia, or Andy, was kidnapped a short time before her fourth birthday (a time when most harpies have a significant growth spurt) by bandits to subjugate the harpies. Freed by Titania, a chance meeting months later would bring the harpy under the care and tutelage of the wolf thrope until the day they would fight once more.

Arale (Female Merfolk, 17)


  • A young mermaid devoted to saving her people and defeating the Cthulhi that wage war against them. After being saved by Lyr during his trials, she decided she was unfit to fight any longer and would need his personal training if she is to continue the fight. Currently lives in a lake near the manor, enchanted to be like the ocean waters.

Ashley 'Ash' Mendelbrow (Male Cat Thrope, 12)

  • A young Orphan Thrope, under Titania's care and Davon's tutelage. A thief at heart and a lover of anything shiny. Hides his insecurities by trying to act mature. Originally, he lived in Elluviana before being found in Stormrend. How he got there and what happened to his parents seems to change every time he is asked. Hates authority.

Bethany (Wolf Thrope/Demon, 31)

  • Best friend of Korra Devolina and escaped circus attraction, Bethany is the spawn of a Thrope and a demon who took on the Wolf features of her father despite hardly ever knowing him. She has a lot of anger in her but a strong sense of justice thanks to her childhood. It is little wonder she joined Korra's resistance, both to help Thropes and to beat people up.

Betty Marie Vhemmina - (Female Fly Thrope, 30)


  • Tinkerer and C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Lover of all things mechanical, and a genius when it comes to engineering. Sweet and loving, but not without her fierce side. Lover to Erin and shares motherhood with Erin over Eliza. “Sister” to Veeti.

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. A man of noble birth and noble upbringing, extremely devoted to honor and justice. Sword and board fighter, but skilled with many more weapons. Lover of Esmeralda and father to her unborn child. Has directly or indirectly injured Tecunte more times than most.

  • B-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Fights with a Falcon-like wind Construct. Laid back and kind, and well as being incredibly brave for such a small being. Know to be reckless, and has suffered for it in the past. Lover of Veeti.

Davon Reinhold (Male Human, 26)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Heir to the noble Reinhold household, Davon became an assassin after his brother murdered his parent, his fiance, and her parents. His brother recently informed his that they were all part of a deep criminal underbelly, but Davon still holds a vengeful lust. Mentor to Ash and Marlena.

Dorothée Beatra Arnauld (Female Bat Thrope, 33)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Talkative to the point of often putting her foot in her mouth, but always well meaning. Speaks with an unusual dialect that makes some doubt her claims to be from Bevland. Wields a unique trick weapon, a sword/scythe.

Dracye - (Male Cat/Dragon Thrope, 18)

  • Lost to the sea with his mother as a baby, he was saved by the God of the Sea, raised by dragons, given a dragon-like form by an Elder Dragon God, and sent off to live among his own kind, with many of his memories taken away. He has since regained many of his memories, but not enough to find his way home. Short tempered and immature for his age, but with a good heart. Loves chasing mice. Unofficial girlfriend of Aemilia

Edminfar 'Ed' Tevin (Male Netzi, 70)

  • Head of the Havenbrook Manor armory and forge. Something of a letch, but would never do anything too uncouth without permission. Missing an antenne, leg, and arm. Has prosthetics to replace the former two. Secretly harbors deep regrets over the lost relationship with his estranged daughter.

Elma Van Dam (Female Human, 18)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter, and younger sister to Charter. Following in her brother's foot steps, hoping to use her magic for the good of mankind. Still learning, and training very hard with Charter, but a powerful mage in her own right. Aunt to Esmeralda's unborn child.

Eraqus Velmonte (Male Elf, 71)

  • A-Rank Havenbrook Hunter, and closest friend to its leader. Eraqus has been with the guild for nearly five decades and plans to die a hunter. Plagued with guilt over past mistakes, he can be a hard man to get close to, but a noble friend if you do.

Erin Starstorm (Female Rabbit Thrope, 39)

  • Head Lab Mage and unofficial C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Speaks in a refined manner and often treats others rudely, but a softy at heart. Hides a slight inferiority complex. Still depressed over the recent loss of her parents. Betty’s lover and shares motherhood with Betty over Eliza.

Esmeralda Starma (Female Light Elf, 26)

  • Head Librarian and Books Keeper for the Havenbrook Manor. Esmeralda is always chipper and eager to please, though a little too quirky for some people. Her mood has gained even more highs since revealing her secret career to her family. Pregnant with Charter’s child. Adores Drayce.

Faith (Female Duck Thrope, 16)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. One of the youngest Hunters in the guild. Ran away from her abusive father. Young, but her strength in making it to the guild alone convinced Mina to let her in, if only to become stronger. Affectionate towards Titania, whom she sees as a mother-like figure in addition to a teacher.

Ferron Evenook (Male Elf, 20)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Somewhat cowardly but always willing to fight when others need him. Shy but tries to talk a big game to cover for it. A victim of an unfortunate amount of bad luck, but somehow always pulls through in the end. Secretly has a pet Chimera, and electric monkey/cat.

Janne (Male Human, 23)

  • An old friend of Mina's, he saved her and kept her safe when she got lost in their early teens. Robbed of his sight by a fire as a child, the orphan boy's powerful magic gave him a sixth sense to compensate. In this timeline, he stays at the manor when he is not out and about protecting the poor and weak. He is the father of Mina's unborn child, and he fiance (though no date has been set).

Jay Sancros - (Male Light Elf, 50)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. A former slave relieved of decades of abuse by Titania. A very cold, pessimistic man, but not without his kind side. Not the strongest physically with a clear limp, but an incredible knack for magic. Erin’s assistant. Sylvie’s lover and father to her unborn child. Eliza’s magic teacher.

Kara (Female Ophidian, 22)

  • A friend of Mina's when they were the slaves of Lyr's former uncle/adoptive father. Took Lyr in when his adoptive mother died and helped him find Mina. Stays at the manor as a confidant to the boy and a close, almost intimate friend to Mina.

Korra Devolina (Female Monkey Thrope, 25)

  • Former Themosan Noble, the primary Devolina family was burned to death in a fire Korra insisted was an act of assassination. She was so adamant in this and her fight against the slavery of her people, it cost her nobility. She retained her family fortune thanks to the Themosan Princess, and now leads a resistance band against the crown.

Koz (Male Ophidian)

  • Years old former rival of Titania. Seemed to swear to murder and/or humiliate Titania, and nearly succeeded. Died at Kva’s hands, but not before revealing that he was being forced to target her by other assassins for the sake of his sister, leaving Titania with the knowledge that she is still being targeted.

Kva Minerva (Female Vampiric Elf)

  • B-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. A devout follower and Priestess of the God of Death, Taydar. Kva became disheartened by what she saw as the mistreatment of her friend, Alice, and left the vampire megacity to journey the world. Wears special armor to operate in the day so no one suspects she is more then an Elf. Titania's lover.

Lyr Havenbrook (Male Ophidian, 15)

  • Disowned Ophidian prince who has come to except Mina as his mother after the death of his first adoptive mother. Due to a difficult trial, he has gained demigod status and power over time. Cold at times, but with a soft heart below the surface.

Liliana Alexandra Valenestra (Female Vampiric Human, 367)

  • Leader of the world's Vampires, formally known as Lilith Valentine. Has been feuding with the Vampire Elders for decades to open the doors to their megacity. Currently a captive of her sister, Alice, she works with her despite disagreeing with her methods because they share similar goals and she wants to limit the damage done.

Magdalene "Mags" Annahsvere (Female Sheep Thrope, 26)


  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. A farmgirl at heart that seeks to do good in the world and protect the innocent, including people like her sister who was kidnapped years ago and sold into slavery. Has special powers over sleep and dreams, has her own Nightgaunt as a protector, and is even close, personal friends with the Goddess of Dreams.

Marlena (Female Human, 22)

  • Havenbrook Maid. A young woman who's life has been nothing but pain and torment. Unlocking dormant magic, she went on a killing spree of those that had harmed her until she was stopped by a group of Havenbrook Hunters. Davon took her in, repaired her body as best her could at great expense, and now employs her. She still has a deep seeded hatred of most men.

Slone - (Male Dire Wolf, 9)

  • Charter’s loyal canine companion. A Dire Wolf of surprising strength, speed, and intelligence. Lives in a den near the Havenbrook Manor with his mate and pups.

Sylvie Laurent (Female Human, 23)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. From a closed off village far to the north. A fierce warrior who takes no flack from anyone. Down to earth, literally, as she is bound to the land itself. Pregnant with Jay’s child, who is rapidly growing due to the influence of her village’s goddess.

Terra (Female Light Elf, 18)

  • Beat down and abused most of her life, timid Terra has been close to Korra ever since the then noblewoman took her off the streets, fed and clothed her, and helped her get by. Terra was hesitant to support the resistance, something she knew would lead to violence, but Light Elves know oppression even more then Thropes, and joined in the fight.

Titania (Female Wolf Thrope, 27)


  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. Demigod, the spawn of her father’s infidelity with Runseca twenty-seven years ago. Inherited her mother’s super speed. Fights deep seeded primal instincts and anger, but is otherwise a mother-like figure for many. Best friend to Jay whom she saved from slavery. Lover of Kva. Currently recovering from an assassination attempt by an old rival.

Veeti (Female Netzi)

  • Tinkerer and unofficial Havenbrook Hunter. “Sister” of Betty, Lover of Chivi. A skilled engineer learning to build her own Construct, and building a functional flamethrower with Betty. Ran away with Betty to avoid Betty becoming a slave. Daughter of a wicked slave trader/business man.

Wilhelmina 'Mina' Alexandria Havenbrook (Female Human, 27)

  • Current Leader of the Havenbrook Organization and Head of its Hunter’s Guild, its main source of income. An experienced fighter but leaves most battles to her Hunters. Adopted mother to Lyr, pregnant with Janne’s child. Due in December. Has a pet Raven named Bishop.

Yuffie Himafa (Female Light Elf, 16)

  • A young Light Elf studying at the Havenbrook Manor. Saved from an orphanage and hard life by Lyr that might have led to servitude or prostitution, she is now continuing her education under better circumstances while receiving personal training from Lyr.

Zodiak Diraven (Male Human, 24)

  • C-Rank Havenbrook Hunter. A master of martial arts who prefers his fists for close quarters combat. Left his home to seek something beyond the eternal life of royal guards his family was consigned to. Close friends with Faith, the first Hunter he met at the guild that helped with his decision to join.

  • Protector and Watcher of Magdalene. Servant of The God of Sleep Methos who woke Magdalene from a coma at birth. As such, the two are connecting, if Magdalene were to be disconnected from she would fall back into coma. Revealed himself to Magdalene after events at Havenbrook.

Carol Annahsvere (Cow Thrope)

  • Older Sister to Magdalene, Carol was taken from her home and illegally sold into slavery. During her enslavement she became addicted to a purified form of a mind altering drug that put her into a childlike, compliant state. After five years she was rescued by The Railroad and sent back to a broken home. After her ordeal she tends to be irritable and more sexually forward, that and increasingly defensive of her family. Currently residing at Havenbrook.

John Annahsvere (Horse Thrope)
  • Widowed Father of Magdalene, John is a stern, hard, but loving man who values hard work and family. After his wife left due to the kidnapping of their daughter, John was tired, ragged, and forced to try to hold the family together on his own.
Nina Marie (Spider Thrope)
  • Nina is the Child of Reah and cousin to Betty. She was born a mistake of the rape of her mother, but was kept as she miraculously had no traits of her father's. Nina was a Hunter in Themosa City for a while before being driven out of business by a local guild. A Master of 'Weave Enchanting' as well as Fire and Dark Magic, she was still denied access to magix schooling do to a perceived lack of potential. Currenly staying at Havenbrook due to an invitation from Betty.
Reah Marie (Ratsnake Thrope)
  • Sister to Betty's Mother Vesp, and Aunt to Betty. Reah was left alone with her sister after their mother died of plague. After differences in what the two of them would do to make money, Reah's sister left her all alone. It was then that Reah was taken advantage of by a sick Human and impregnated, deciding to keep the baby despite the incident. Reah longs to find and reunite with her sister after her departure. Currently staying at Havenbrook thanks to an invite from Betty.

Selene Annahsvere (Mockingbird Thrope)

  • Little Sister to Magdalene, Selene is a quiet and kind girl who blames herself for her eldest sister's kidnapping and broken home. Suffers from depression and is staying at Havenbrook.

Appearance:
Johanna is a slender figure, with pale skin and blood red eyes. She has scars on her left eye and just below her lip, signs of her time on the battlefield. Her face seems to lack expression when one is to look at it. Johanna also wears bandages for the entirely of her left arm… to hide the hideous damage that surround it. She wears a long, black dress when outside of combat.

Personality:
Johanna is a mostly emotionless person, choosing to keep her feelings hidden from others. She keeps people at a distance and only fights in a group if she has to. Thought she is hard to connect with at times, those who manage to break her shell find that she is a creative and shy individual who wishes to be home with her family again.

Biography:
Born from the royal family of Ravenhelm, Johanna knew little of the outside world. She spent most of her life in the walls of Stormrend… never truly seeing the dangers of monsters and war. She lived a peaceful life with her family: her mother, father and younger brother. They everything they wanted, everything they needed. Fate, however, had other plans.

A storm hit there home one hit while preparations for a ball were underway: an event that the Ravenhelm family held every year for generations. But the event had a new guest, an uninvited guest. He did not give out his name, only his purpose… to end the Ravenhelm bloodline for the greater good of Terra Dolar. Despite the shear number of guards at the event, the mysterious man fought his way to the grandhall and to Johanna. Something was wrong with this man, it was obvious by this robes and dead-like appearance. He was swift to slay anyone between him and his target, including her mother and father. She stood, frozen by shock, as the figure slaughtered her family and friends… knowing that she was next. The shock eventually became too much, causing her mind to blank and her conscious to fail her.

She woke up, but she was not home anymore. She found herself in a cave, chained up with black symbols surrounding her. The robes man laid next to her, dead alongside many other robed corpses. In the distance, she could hear chanting in a language she could not understand. Without warning, a dark energy filled her arm and ravaged her skin. The pain was swiftly became too much for the poor girl, while the energy left its mark on her and seeped its way into her body. The last words she heard before she lost control again came from the corpses around her, as they spoke the words, “Ravenhelm is dead. Our mistress has returned.”

When Johanna had awoken the second time, she was standing. She found herself surround my new corpses, all fresh and still bleeding, while holding a sickle in her hand. She could no longer recognize her own arm anymore… the damage to great for her to even look at. In her mind, she could hear whispers, ones that demanded more blood. That was when she realized that she would no longer be the same. That she was no longer herself anymore.

With scars too deep to heal and a new power threatening to take control of her, Johanna left her old life to become a mercenary… the only life she thought she could live properly.

Dark Pact:
Though forced upon her, Johanna has a pact with the entity known as the Mistress. This pact gives her control over strong dark magic, such as the claw of shadow energy that she calls upon often. However, the Mistress is a strong being that wishes to have absolute control over Johanna and the two are constantly at war to maintain said control. Johanna’s will is stronger, but if she pushes herself too far, the Mistress can take control of her weakened body.

Whiplash: Johanna extends her claw into a whip like blade, allowing her to lash out at enemies from a distance.

The Monster Within: Johanna may be innocent by heart, but she is the Beast of Ravenhelm by nature. The more Johanna fights, the more power she gets, and the more savage she becomes.
