In all seriousness, congratulations on moving forwards with your life. Don't push yourself too hard, figure out where the free food is, and [note: write something deep].
Haven't picked up a physical, non-textbook in a while, but I've done a bit of reading over the last few months. Read Guns, Germs, and Steel, an interesting book about some potential reasons why Europe got strong. Also read Manacle and Coin, an Exalted supplement about how trade works - specifically, the drug and slave trades. It's dark, but very informative. Also currently keeping up with a manga called Wizard's Soul, a manga about not!MTG, which provides one of my favorite panels of anything ever.
That's the MC, by the way.

So I nearly killed my computer doing this, but I have some 'High' graphics setting renditions of some of the LoE cast. My character pool is a little jumbled so I couldn't find them all at the moment.

(Spoilers ahead, beware all ye who enter here.)
I love what you've been doing with Eliza, Zombs, she is just getting cuterer and cuterer. I just want to point out that Betty is not neglecting her and is spending time with her off screen.
I liked how everyone was pretty accepting of her too so far, kinda makes Sylvie look like a straight coont by comparison.
Learning more about Eraqus and Mina was nice! It's good to see our squad leader getting more backstory and it's going great so far.
Kinda weird that Jay is referring to Arlia by her race like that, but it's interesting to see he is still mistrustful of humans despite the fact he is dating one.
Es and Erin work off eachother so nocely, they bring a really cute dynamic with them. Also... CHRISTMAS IS COMING.
And finally...
Me being pissed off...
THOSE FOTHERMUCKERS ARE TRYING TO CIRCUS MY DRAGON CHILD!? IDGAF IF THEY HAD PAPERWORK, I WOULD'VE BEAT THIER ASSES, IN FACT, BOTH MY CHARACTERS WOULD'VE! Sylvie gives no fucks about civilized rules like that and Betty's won't stand for slavery and by extension institutions that allow it. (Although granted she would probably just freeze them with her Basilisk gas rather than beat the shit out of them)

What confuses me is the fact that I'm pretty sure slavery's illegal in Serasam. Plus Drayce is clearly not a chaos demon, so the premise is either a farce or they're mistaken.

Thanks for all the encouraging words. I don't think Sylvie was wrong for the way she thinks. Zulik is simply an exception to the norm because his nature makes him closer to the demon realm and Jay knows what it is like to be looked down on based on what you are. Sylvie was completely rational. And I never meant to imply Betty didn't spend time with Eliza. The girl only trusts her right now and wants to spend ALL her time with her.
It is. And that is the angle Mina will be playing towards as she tries to fix this through legitimate means.
In the meantime, some illegitimate means might be need to assure they don't get too far away with him.

Betty will happily go. (So will Mags.)
If this is a short mission it should be fine. Betty could set up annoying pit falls, traps, and block off roads using some explosives. Carts aren't exactly all terrain.
I think both of you missed an important clue as to the reason this really isn't slavery as seen by the people who issued the order. It's the reason Drayce suddenly gets quiet.
Looking forward to that mission tomorrow. Bandits and Harpies. This image is important. Remember it.
