I decided to save the mission to steal the Necronomicon from Fairaven for a later time since there are already plans for a not-so-legal mission in the works. Not canceled obviously. But for now, I wanted to do a more local mission since we just did one in another country. Here it is. Go ahead and call dibs, though note that the people who are more likely to be chosen will be ones who have had less missions. Corruption Breeding Corrupted
Location: Arkaley

Near the city of Arkaley, a local ley line has been corrupted by a heavy amount of Celestial energy. The city is not in danger as of yet, but a ley line flowing through the city intersects the corrupted one, and they need to start the purification process to assure the corruption does not spread.
The most effective place to do this is at the magical pool where the lines intersect. Time is a factor, not only because they need to prevent the spread, but because the longer a ley line is corrupted, the harder it is to purify it. Unfortunately, the natural rocks, soil, and even the trees at the pool are also being corrupted and spawning violent Golems that make it impossible for every day citizens to get close.
That is where we come in. Accompanied by city guards, you will go to the magical pool and either fight off or destroy any Golem that tries to interrupt the initial purification process. A bonus has been offered for succeeding in the mission with no loss of life among the witches doing the purification, so try and keep an eye on them.
