So, In DBZ news, Toriyami designed himself a completely new character just for the Dragonball Fighterz game.
Her name is... Android 21!
She's a redheaded blue eyed scientist with glasses, who they say is apparently related to 16 in some way.
Current theory is that She's 16's Mom and Gero's wife... But there's one thing I do know...
She is thicc. ;p

She may have been in stasis like 16 or she may have went Awol and abandoned Gero, both I think are good theories.
Hmm... he didn't want to activate 16 for some reason, saying he wasn't ready, but 16 seemed. Fine. Maybe Her I regretted making an Android version of his son, especially when he couldn't pin down his son's personality. It could be the same thing with 21. He couldn't get her just right, or he was ashamed. Or, perhaps, she was complete, and he wanted to activate Her, but to keep her safe, he was going to wait until after the whole 'kill Son Goku' mission.
That leaves the question of what she is exactly. Like 8, 16, and 19, 100% machine? Like 17 & 18, former humans with cybernetic enhancements? Or like 20/Gero himself, machine body with the whole brain in a jar thing going?

Well she doesn't seem to have a brain in a jar... And I remember hearing that Gero's wife was estranged from him...
So it's highly possible that he made a full robot to try and replace her, he also only did the Cyborg transformation on people he wasn't related to, so my guess would be Robot.
And the reason 16 wasn't ready was because his personality was too gentle for fighting I think... That or he wanted to keep him out of combat because you know... Son and all.
