Yeah Marine, great Solo! Seeing more of Devon's backstory is nice and easily enough to make me just Detest his brother. Because crimes or not, they are still your only family, the fact that he parades as this noble warrior knight while murdering Devon's loved ones just... Mmmm.... Pisses me off. I can't wait to see if he'll face justice the Hypocrite...
I can understand that point of view. He does have an aura of heroism you wouldn't think a man like him should have. But you also have to imagine what you might think of him if they hadn't been his parents. Imagine you are told a young man found out the heads of two noble families were responsible for such incredible atrocities in their bid to gain power and finances and he took upon himself to rid the world of them before they could do anymore harm, sparing the son of one of the couples because he saw him as an innocent, only for said son to grow up to become an assassin out to kill him. You might be surprised to find out he is the villain.
Btw, finished the second mission the other day. Will do the third as soon as Exo and Marine have free time. Hoping for Saturday? Maybe?

So, after thinking about this some more, my response to this is... If they weren't his parents he'd be a vigilante than turned Devon into an orphan AND killed his lifelong friend and crush for no reason. All because he thought she was evil, nope just murder your girlfriend. And I like how he basically went on saying that he probably would've killed the maid too even though she had done nothing wrong but decided not to, oh thanks you're such a good person...
But it's the fact that he's Devon's brother that just makes this that much more henious. Yes his parents were awful, but did they deserve death? Did Devon deserve to be orphaned because of thier actions? And then there's the murder of his first crush who was innocent and did nothing wrong, all because she and his family might have been using him...
I honestly feel like he's as unlikable as someone like Malder, at least he wasn't related to all the people he killed. Not to mention something about his holier than thou rhetoric just pisses me off so much deep down, like he still thinks he's such a good guy just.... Mmmm!
What you missed is that Davon's crush was not innocent. She was using Davon for power. The fact she kinda liked him was secondary. And the thing you dont realize because I haven't shown it yet is that Gabriel actually does do good things and he is actually very humble. If your father were Hitler would you not kill him because he was your father? Or Al Capone?
