Master's Wishes
Viper wondered the vast deserted through the endless day. She had decided to leave the Golden Wind behind, for their safety as well as her own. The sandstorm ravaged her synthetic skin and damaged her radio scanners. Having to rely on her optical sensors, the android found a small cave in the massive brown haze. She quickly ducked inside and sat against the hard rock wall. She came here hoping to find the ship wreckage that the rebel leader found her in prior to her reactivation. Viper slowly scanned her own body, seeing how badly she had been injured by the storm. Her breathing carried the weight of her fatigue, as even her metal body has its limits. Her vision slowly faded as she succumbed to the exhaustion and entered the infinite nothingness.
When her eyes opened, the sun’s rays shone and the sand vanished from view. Viper had no idea how much time had passed since she arrived at the cave. She only knew that she had to move quickly to reach her destination. She willed her feet to move towards the large opening and into the endless brown once more. However, she was met with a bullet piercing her shoulder from behind. Someone had been following her, and had been preparing for this moment. Viper crumbled to the ground, her life fading as five more shots drove through her body. She entered the nothingness once more.

The cold steel walls layered the hallways with a soulless void. Each and every step echoed endlessly, as if the place was under a constant earthquake. The sound of the android’s body screeching across the floor only worsened this echo. The hallway reached a fork… two destinations labeled with strange characters. The echoes continued to the left, being replaced with the sounds of machines and biochambers. Inside, a man with a pure red lab coat and flowing blonde hair observed a bear being torn apart from the inside. “Subject 582’s muscular structure has failed to contain the syrem. Even the mightiest of Earth creatures can’t sustain such sudden evolution. A shame really, wouldn’t you agree? Westwood?”
The man didn’t even turn his head as Viper’s mangled body was tossed beside him. The sound of a lighter briefly sounded as the slender man in a trenchcoat prepared his cigar. “Why did you need this brat anyway? You know Master doesn’t want you messin’ with artificial intelligence.”
“That is indeed true, but he requested that we bring her in specifically.” The man stated as he examined the mechanical corpse before him. “Whether she realized it or not, Viper here has valuable information… information we don’t want to become public knowledge.”
“So we’re just silencing her now before she had tell anyone of importance.” Westwood chuckled at the thought. “So, Drake, what do you intend to do with her now?”
“Once the information is extracted and transmitted to Master…” A grin slowly stitched into Drake’s face. “I will dismantle this pathetic piece of scrap. I could make use of her uniquely magnetic alloy.”
Westwood sighed. “Always thinking about your science voodoo I see…”
