It is a mysterious, 'magical' being that has called on Brigid to assist it in helping to be sure everyone in X-COM is safe, but all the mean people here don't trust him just because he has only made contact with an impressionable six year old girl, he seeks out information about X-COM's vital areas, he may have given Brigid the ability to influence others, and he bears a resemblance to a new alien I recently added to the rule page.Did it get mangled in a teleporter incident?
And you can't catch what you can't see.Okay, seriously...someone please shoot that f-ing thing. I swear I will tell Desmond and he will blow a 15x15 hole in that beatch.
Well...say goodbye to the XCOM base, Desmond has work to do.It is a mysterious, 'magical' being that has called on Brigid to assist it in helping to be sure everyone in X-COM is safe, but all the mean people here don't trust him just because he has only made contact with an impressionable six year old girl, he seeks out information about X-COM's vital areas, he may have given Brigid the ability to influence others, and he bears a resemblance to a new alien I recently added to the rule page.
...paranoid, the lot of them.
And you can't catch what you can't see.
I also wondered that.I do have to wonder...is this darn thing giving off any sort of psionic emanations at all? Or is the controller adept at going undetected by psions? (Because we have quite a few on base)
Well, since I've already revealed what the 'kitty' truly is, I guess it wouldn't hurt to answer that. The projection of energy is spread thin because it is remotely projected. Kinda like how those devices in the base could remotely control the Sectopods. I'm sure you've noticed how, multiple times while talking to Brigid, he'll stop and stare at her for several seconds. That is because the alien controlling him isn't nearby like it would normally be, so there is a bit of a delay when it reads her mind and uses its clairvoyance to decide on the best thing to say to convince her.I do have to wonder...is this darn thing giving off any sort of psionic emanations at all? Makes sense to me. Boy does it hit me in the feels to just be watching this spiral out of control, though. And it'll be going on for awhile, I imagine...though if he goes too far with Brigid someone will notice that I think.Well, since I've already revealed what the 'kitty' truly is, I guess it wouldn't hurt to answer that. And because of this long distance control, the psionic energy is so thin, you wouldn't be able to detect it as it travels through the base. However, it is still concentrated around Kitty, so even though they wouldn't be able to find exactly where Kitty is, individuals like Atka and Desmond would be able to tell if he was in the same room as them (which is why he activly avoids them, and why he sought out the refugees, so he could see what other psionics were on base).
And that's why he's moving slow. But it is only a matter of time. Who knows, maybe I'll hit you up for something soon, before Atka officially leaves for India.Makes sense to me. Which is probably Saturday, since I feel the need to delay it to handle some stuff before the trip to India on Friday. And that's why he's moving slow. But it is only a matter of time. Who knows, maybe I'll hit you up for something soon, before Atka officially leaves for India.
Hmm, more posts from me, this one a collab with our local Chryssalid crusader, Frostlich.
It's almost like I'm actually being productive this week.
I'm a Level 74 Chryssalid Paladin! Fighting to protect the rights of all Chryssalid, big or small!
I am Count Rol Freako, the 12th-level Space Samurai who trained Baron Ryang. And I am your father!
Oh hay look, it's a Desmond.
Not sure if I'll fully color and shade it or not, but the sketch was fun. I got carried away with sketch detail. I always do. :V
I forgot his face mask though. Whups.
Also, want to know my favorite part about being an artist?
ABUSING MY ABILITIES AS AN ARTIST.
Edit: I just realized I misspelled trying to misspell "Desmond". I wanted "Derpsmond," but I dropped the "n". 2 times the derp.

Coat is supposed to be red and black but yes he could pass for an assassin *completely glossing over the fact he is already an agent*XD That's the best thing ever!
(Also, Ezio, What're you doing at X-com?)
I just found the perfect way to sum up the 'Kitty' posts.
Some cats...just want to watch the world burn.
"Let's give the little girl psionic powers and see how that goes."
