A little of both. I always found it strange that you could run up to a sectopod in the game and it would try to shoot you instead of just stepping on you.

I found it strange that sectopods sometimes had shots go through them when you missed. (Come on Firaxis, at least animate the armor deflecting the shot, it can't be that hard.)

Still doesn't beat the strange things that happen with Disabling Shot. Prisma and Pixy are well aware of my explanations for it, but it would break zombie's rule of "no trickshotting rookies".

If a sniper holds their gun to the side they're more likely to hit a disabling shot, it's a fact. xD

You ever have a sniper fire a pistol but still use their sniper rifle? It reminds me of the scene from the first Batman movie when the Joker pulls out the revolver with the super long barrel.

Oh yeah, maybe a fourth of the time. I would laugh if the glitch went both ways, and they fired a sniper rifle while holding a pistol.

Especially if they aren't the same type of weapon. Laser pistol with a normal sniper rifle? Ok, he just had the laser sight turned up reeeeeeeal high. Plasma from anything not plasma? You can't explain that.
