Yo. I'm going to post the work in progress bio for my character Juniper. There's one part I want ideas for.

7jdghHP.png

Name: Juniper Ica
Age: 24 (July 28th, 1993)
Sex: Female
Race: Mixed
Nationality: American
Height: 5’7” (170cm)
Weight: 173 pounds (78.5kg)
Specialization: Support/Engineer

Notable Physical Descriptors: Black hair that is short in the back and chin-length in the front. Amber eyes. Has a violet, diamond-shaped gem on forehead. Symmetrical “scratch” marks under each eye (cause unknown). Broad, square shoulders for a woman.

Disabilities: Needs prescription eyewear. Frequently suffers from migraines. Diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Military Records: Juniper had trained to become a law enforcement officer starting at the age of 19, and then was recruited into the US Military at the age of 21. Her performance in the military is fairly unexceptional, excluding one mission where... (This is the part I want ideas for. I want to maybe tease at that she has the potential to be psyonic, which gets her noticed and recruited by XCOM, but I'm not sure what I want to do.)

Personality: Juniper is well-behaved and follows rules and orders to the letter. She can be fairly strict to the point where some of her teammates accuse her of being a nag. She is also sometimes referred to as “The Team Mom” because of her tendencies to encourage her friends and acquaintances stay healthy and behaved. Juniper described as having an awkward demeanor when communicating with new people, but she acts more naturally with people she is familiar with. People sometimes describe Juniper as being emotionless, but this is likely a result of her being very calm and reserved. She is unlikely to panic due to being so level-headed, but she has records of emotional outbursts in the past.

Hm... I like the idea of a team mom. And I can relate to the OCD. As far as military records go, it would all depend on how her psionics manifest themselves.

Actually he didn't, She might be mad that Desmond went to the Commander knowing that Jessie was probably Innocent instead of looking for more evidence. It's hard to please that girl. :/
Well, the most important thing would be how Jessica would feel about him fingering her. And considering her actions at the end of that post, I'm sure you can guess how she feels.

In her canon universe, it's like a conduit for her powers (since her powers draw from mental energy), but in this universe I figured it'd just be jewelry. Like an Indian Bindi. So it's just stuck on with an adhesive. Might be worth removing or modifying my wording for the "Notable Descriptors" section though.
That would probably be for the best ;P As for that mission if you want her to be a psion maybe make it so she had a psionic outburst of some kind, just to give her some backround of psionic potential. Also may want to keep in mind of what kind of powers she will have. Red is more offensive, Blue focuses more on mental powers and Green is more suited for healers and people for support.

Dammit. I even went through the trouble of showing how he was conflicted about showing Morrigan, oh well, not like it would mean much considering.

 Probably could have been worded better but...you know what screw it I am out, I am writing one more post tonight and going to dream of sugar plum fairies. (Most likely won't be sleeping tonight so I am not going anywhere.)

Yeah, let's just be glad this didn't go nearly as bad as it could have. :)
I have a feeling everyone is going to try and keep this from Modya to prevent him from freaking out.

As for BlueBead, it depends on what power you want her to manifest. I would say tier one and two are acceptable for starters, considering I have starter abductee psions with such.

Tier One:
Mind Fray - Mental attack that breaks down the opponents will and ability to fight, while causing physical damage by temporarily disrupting the nervous system.
ESP - Extrasensory Perception, allowing one to see things beyond one's normal five senses. First manifests itself as uncontrollable clairvoyance, but with time, can be strengthen and upgraded to remote viewing.
Telepathy - Then ability to speak to others through one's mind. First manifests itself as the ability to send and receive messages. Can be strengthened to allow for mind reading.

Tier Two:
Psi Inspiration - Enhance the mental strength of all the soldiers nearby, enhancing willpower and fighting spirit, while decreasing doubts and fears.
Psi Panic - Send the opponent into a panic, temporarily destroying their will to fight and causing them to act irrationally.
Pyro-conjuring - The ability to conjure fire. This is not pyrokinesis. The user can only make fire, not control it, and there must be some source of combustion available. Control over the strength of the conjured fire and how easily one can direct it must be developed over time.
Psi Lance - The ability to manifest pure psychokinetic energy and fire it as a projectile. Extremely draining, and must be strengthened over time.

For an offensive ability like psi panic or mindfray, perhaps she used it when she was cornered or pinned. 'The enemy mysteriously panicked or was incapacitated, clutching their head'

For a more neutral ability like ESP or Telepathy, or defensive like psi inspiration, she could be reputed to have unnatural confidence (inspiration) or ended up perceiving a threat and taking out hidden enemies (ESP).

Pyrokinesis and Psi Lance would be too obvious, I think.

As for the color varients,

Red is based on combat and aggression, while blue focuses more on defense, tactics, and calm. Green is gentle like nature and suited to healing, and purple is more towards the types of psionics the aliens use. There might be more 'color variants' of psionics later on, but those are the ones we have right now.

Hmm, what exactly are the Psyonic "colors"? Is that a Long War thing? She'd probably be blue based on your descriptions.
Also, ESP might be worth thinking of, since in canon, some of the constructs she can make are drones she can see with and small tracking devices.
Maybe for her "special" mission, she did something along the lines of detect a threat that not even the military's machinery did?

Colors are just psionic natures. It doesn't define a psion but rather is a manifestation of their mind.

I can see that. And as for the colors, that's not Long War, that's purely us. I made Atka a 'blue' varient because I wanted to show that her powers are more 'spiritual' and otherwise more 'pure' than the aliens'. It became something more over time, when Desmond got Red to show off his aggressive, combat-oriented style, and one of the abductees had a healing ability so she was green. Aya is blue-green, and has the healing ability along with some offensive and defensive spells.

What about technokinesis. Sunny already has that (though it is still weak, and no one knows of it yet except the senior staff).
