Hey all, gonna be back tonight. Just got a question - what's the method to this madness of posting? For example, as the person behind a scientist rather than a soldier, would I be posting in the missions thread or the normal thread, when I should do so, and so on.

If it's part of the base defense, you can post your branch now, as long as it's finished. If someone else has posted recently, make sure you're not interrupting theirs, because I think we have like 3-4 branches outside the main post...mine's done though, at any rate.

Mission thread for all base defense related stuff. The silence in the main thread brings effect, I think.

Godammit that was fun. Let's do it again sometime! (Sound of many shotguns loading) What?
Of course, that's not exactly the end of my part of this, is it? No, no. Who, after all, is that person who showed up at the end there? Why were they looking for Penny? Why was their name so goddamn weird? (No, really. If anyone actually gets who they're supposed to be based off, I will legitimately be impressed. It's a very roundabout reference.)
When I get the time, you can expect the Overseer's part in this. Uh. My Overseer, anyway. Definitely the completely human one, not alien in any way, shape or form. Trust me. Pinkie promise.

As a little extra note, going wayyyyy back to Marine asking if music influences our writing at all, the start of the second part (excluding ye olde flashback) was almost entirely inspired by Challenger Approaching from the Harmony of Heroes album, in particular the part from the beginning to 2:06. If you have no idea what I'm on about and like any music that's ever been in the Smash Bros. franchise or any of the franchises from which it draws, then just google it. Yes, that includes Metal Gear.

THE BANE REFERENCE! Amazingly lengthy, and very much worth the wait, Taxor.

Oh stop it you, before my head inflates any further. I figured I had a lot to make up for considering I just haven't been active, so I made it a long one.

Also thanks for ringing that alarm to get away Sunny. Real helpful. Didn't threaten Penny's life at all.

And can I say, before I forget because I know I will, well done everyone. So far this has been exceptional reading.
Not that it isn't normally. Uh. Ahem.
Yeah, I'm gonna shut up now and stop digging this grave any deeper.

Loved your inclusion. Little spy work, huh? Hope you can participate more in the post-defense time.

Anyone that knows who the autograph is, brownie points to you. By that time I think he'd be retired (2018 that is), but Sofi hasn't forgotten.

Hello, Zombie here, just letting everyone know you all did a great job (except for Gemini, who keeps making fun of me for forgetting something during the base defense). Silence is likely because everyone is busy reading.

On my way home now. Once there, I will start posting my three solos (spaced out, of course), ending with a Frost/Zmby collab.
