Inspired by Adrammalech and BMPixy (You crazy bastards) I figured it was time to write a longer solo post than I typically do. This also has to do with Zombie, who often tells me that they wish they could see more of Modya. So here you go, nine microsoft word pages of him.

Only my fourth Modya solo, but I hope this makes up for it. And a rare multi part solo in general, at that.

I liked it, very informative and gives a good feel of how he spends his days on base. Poor Sharron was kind of my chew toy throughout (although Masambe took more bullets).

In other news, short-ish post for Emily and the crew. The body is healed. But there's a ghost in the machine.

I'm totally fine with people torturing my NPCs. And I might be okay with someone killing a rocketeer (just as long as they say something to me first). Atka's squad lives and dies at my behest, though. The main five, that is. (Kevin, Janina, Kris, Amanda, Sarah)

Yeah, of all the people to get stuck with Luxeria's past it had to be the girl with a photographic memory. :p

That's why she's a chew toy. She gets teethed over and over, but she still survives. And when she does suffer, she squeaks charmingly (in Luxuria's mind).

Masambe is actually the one who got lucky in terms of my whims, I had him being killed in all of the drafts until the final, where I decided a robot carrying his crippled body like a machine gun would be way more fun. That's a normal thing to think, right?

It's funny, because Frost introduced that NPC and was worried you'd butcher him.

Something quick before I go to bed I thought you guys might get a kick out of. The post from a while ago in which Jake first looks after Brigid, and Brigid first meets his roommates, was partially inspired by this humorous scene from the anime Clannad.

Oh Clannad...how I loved you so. I remember first time I saw that scene and I just died laughing.

Wanted to share something you guys might enjoy. I'm a fan of a fun board game called Last Night on Earth. Very enjoyable, plenty of expansions, variety of ways to play.

The game comes with a plethora of pieces and figures, some that aren't even used, for not only the scenarios provided, but to make your own. Wanna see where the sisters Jessica and Alexia got their start? It was for a scenarios I wrote myself that required the rescuing a woman's children in order to convince her to let them use her plane to escape. I even made my own custom character card for them.

Not too much going on today huh? Alright, that's fine :)

I was a little worried I'd have 5 or 6 posts to read when I woke up from my nap :p

Loved it, very tense! :)

As a side note, I didn't think Brigid was that powerful. I always thought of her as a weaker psion and that show of power really took me by surprise.

Rule of Fiction #2,738: The most powerful characters are always those with the least ability or inclination to control it.
Corollary: This rule is not applied to protagonists, except for the purposes of comedy or drama.
