I see...a little less sympathy for him now...

Well, Dorian can't really control himself when he's in pain, going into these blind rages. It's a symptom of his Autism, and since they didn't know nearly as much about autism back then as they know now, they just chalked it up to a pissed off kid. It's much, much better now of coarse, but he has to use much of his will power to keep him from just killing all of his enemies and his friends.

Pretty sure I told you guys about this at one point... Or Maybe I didn't...

I don't... think that's how autism works. I've never heard of someone with Autism having killing urges for everyone around them. That's a psychopath.

But wouldn't that...still be a liability? Especially for someone who is supposed to be a bodyguard? If he were to lose it... (Not saying I don't like him, but it is definitely a big flaw i see at least.)

That just shows how much trust David places in him. :)

First of all, psychopath's can control themselves, they just have no empathy.

Secondly, Autism has a rediculously wide variety of possible symtoms, while this may not exactly be a common one, it is common for special ed children to lash out violently when people touch them.

I've seen special Ed kids give each other concussions just from being touched or pulled.

Yeah, but not desire to kill everyone around them at every moment and have to restrain themselves from doing so. I'm not even sure there IS a condition that gets close to that.

Actually, Frost is right. Violent outbursts where the patient isn't in control of their actions are very common amoung austistic people, though it depends on how bad it is for them.

I can confirm this, actually. My mother works with people with disabilities, and they can be... unpredictable. Though I'm sure Dorian's reaction had less to do with high instability and more to do with the brick to the head.

I guess it comes down to this, how old was he? (I'm sorry if I missed it, was kind of consumed by the action)
Btw, Ramma. *selecting colonist for Rimworld. Comes across someone with the last name Jimenez. Oh the grin that is spreading across my face...*

And one of his traits is 'bloodlust'. He likes killing people and gets a rush from it.

That's a little more acceptable because he probably didn't know he could actually kill him (or understand the ramifications), even without autism

Ha! Fuck that guy and his Surfer name! :)

Oh wait, I don't even think Mary would touch that, all the stupid might be contagious after all. :p

Short little something from me, because content must be produced even with my frantic planning behind the scenes.
