First post of the Desmond/Elizabeth storyline is up and I will be doing these in cohesion with the main story of these two in XCOM if that makes sense. Anyways any feedback with the meet up between the two I would love some advice cause playing a woman is a whole new territory for me.
It's always strange playing a character of a different gender then yours, but it gets easy with time. I don't find it too different from playing someone of a different race or culture. Just make sure you don't do anything offensive and you'll be fine.
I'll likely be spitting out a lot of posts today an tomorrow in order to make sure they are up before the next mission. As such, it'll seem like I speed through two weeks. Just post normally, and if something your doing took place before one of my posts, it's fine. I've already got two short pists up, and I have at least three, possibly four to go, not to mention preparing for after the next mission and starting work on the mission after that.
I was looking over the Desmond/Elizabeth post. Anyone remember that scene in the first X-Men movie when Rouge tries to wake Wolverine from a bad dream and he leaps up and stabs her in the chest. I was reminded of that. Though slightly less violent, but somehow with more psychological scaring.
And damn, sounds like Desmond has sometime of Stockholm Syndrome. That's kinda depressing.

And reading Emily's post, Ben reminds me of myself in a weird way, though I'll have to wait until we find out more about him to be sure of that.
It's not really Stockholm Syndrome if you think about it, here is a man who doesn't even believe he is a true man go through these psychological and physical stresses and he finally has some freedom. The conflict he finds himself in is that Exalt was the only thing he had known for 22 years.
He reminds me of Electro from Spiderman 2 before his powers.
I have to say I am loving the Jessica/Alexia story going on right now, I just hope it ends as well as with Desmond and Ryan, but baby steps.
I'm glad to hear that. I was going for a "fighting your own battles but still willing to ask for help" thing. And if Ellie sees the female tech in the medbay, feel free to have her come up with some lame excuse as to how she broke her nose.

Now I know everyone is trying their best to write and get posts up but I think it is long overdue to just sit back and ask how everyone is doing, we have been working hard so any idle chatter or if your having a bad day just post it up, we are all people here.
Well, since you asked there has been a day or two when I've felt a bit burned out. But overall, I feel things are going well. The I do appreciate the occasional feedback. I also appreciate that you all (for the most part) follow the rules and ask me if it's okay before doing anything unusual (for the most part).
