Nah, man, they've been developing this game longer than we had the idea for an apoc future. I believe the phrase Great Minds Think Alike is true here.

Nah, it's their IP, technically we're the ones violating copyright on their work. Even in the unlikely event that they ripped off our ideas, we wouldn't have a legal leg to stand on in this matter.

Well I don't think any of us would be really mad even if they did. If anything it would be really fucking cool if that was the case. And I believe they said somewhere in a post that the world was genetically modified...EE anyone?

I'd be flattered. Though, a mention in the credits would be nice.

Just think about it, now we can make a RP that goes through both games, the RP potenticials are unlimited.

Write about how our character changed the last 20 years ever since XCOM 1.

Uh...way ahead of you. We have an entire RP and lore set up already that takes place 25 years after Story of Defiance.

If we did a roleplay based off XCOM 2 (which is a possibility after it comes out) we would adapt it to perhaps fit a dark future in which we lost the war/whatever happened to Firaxis's 2035 Earth.

The saddest part is that, although I'm done with school and will turn 20 this year, I will have to go back to college for another two years next year. WILL IT EVER STOP? I want to take the time and RP with you all again. :(

It sucks, but it'll be worth it when you're done. Just, uh... don't major in Crim. Just. unless you have some connections...

Yeah, considering that Story of Defiance lasted 8 months, this really shouldn't take a full year. I say shouldn't...

And I'm try to put together a reading guide for Story of Defiance since I know I promised you a summary (Trying to do that too but not sure if I"ll have time or not).

If I do get the guide together then that'll give you guys something to do over the 2.5 weeks I'm gone.
