Your damn right and don't forget it!One of my favorite Disney movies.
Is that my voice? ...oh well.Looking for this?
I hope someone gets this reference!
Your welcome.
I love Ryan's character. Didn't realize until it was brought up that he was black. Finally, a black character! *sort of*I must say, writing for Desmond, Elizabeth, and Ryan is a lot of fun for me. I just love how I make Desmond be in some awkward situations, Ellie and her childish nature, and Ryan who is really the only one Desmond trusts fully and is open with him. It just fills me with a sense of accomplishment when I write these guys and their interactions.
Thank you...I guess?I love Ryan's character. Didn't realize until it was brought up that he was black. Finally, a black character! *sort of*
By sort of I mean he's not technically a character since he's a side one. Close enough.Thank you...I guess?
Ah that makes sense. I was starting to think he was the only oneBy sort of I mean he's not technically a character since he's a side one. Close enough.
There's still a translation from some digital signal into a one the sight-centre of the brain would understand (as I did quote from what you wrote). If he can connect a digital signal to the sight centre, why not have it be video? We have digital cameras, which I imagine are infinitely less complex than infrawave detection devices. I'm sure if Dr. Shen were given the opportunity to analyse the device implanted in Ammelia he would have very little trouble making an implant that can send video signals into the brain. It has nothing to do with the complexity of the eye, which is indeed complex and difficult to mimic, it has to do with digital signals being interpreted by the sight centre of the brain (as sight, I imagine). I suppose I thought it was super-human vision because if it were inferior to the imagery of a camera it would have been much easier to give her such vision instead. As did I assume it also translated sound into similar digital visual signals, since that technology already exists (sonar), which would totally grant super-human vision...Whoever said it was Super-Human Vision? She can see way less than a normal person. Also, David cross is an engineer, not a doctor, he used the tools of his trade to give his daughter sight. I'd like to see Dr. Shen give someone new eyeballs, yaknowhatimsayin?

Perhaps I'm over-analyzing again...
Spoilers!I like to think that the reason David didn't use Video instead was because he didn't people to see it a Video camera sticking out of her head. He wants his daughter to look and act like a normal girl so that other people won't treat her differently. Also keep in mind the SAaIDA is a prototype and is still in development, by the time that David is finished with it she will be able to see at the level of a normal person.
