"No Escape" is up. Enjoy all of you, especially Marine, Dahl, and anyone else that was around just before we starting planning "Story of Defiance" in the original think tank.

Hey, when you're not healing, you get to pop aliens.
Yeah that would be possible but the tatical disadvantage is that if you are far away, (which a sniper usually is) and a person need emergency care, then that could potentially put someone at risk unles they had REALLY high mobility.

Well, I only played through 9 and 10, and played maybe ten minutes of 7 (which is everyone's favorite) before getting bored at whatever age I was at, and I also didn't watch DBZ so I can't prove what's ripped off and what's not...but like all famous American debaters, I will ignore my lack of unbiased knowledge and make a sweeping declaration that 9 is objectively the best.

Damn! My literal decades of experience playing every Final Fantasy was spoiled again by the stick-fingers-in-ears-and-saying-lalalalala-I'm-right-you're-wrong technique.

As a casual Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest fan, I hereby encourage you two to fight for the purity of your fandom. May the winner spread their memes throughout the meme pool, thus bettering the species.

And who was the best Dragon Quest character? Jessica, of course.

And why was she the best? Because she had the spunk, the attitude, the determination, and the VA VA VOOM!

Though Yangus was a close second...

Remind me to never open this site in front of family, you never know what sort of randomness you find.

Cannot unsee.

I still consider the Dragonlord the best character in the series. He's such a cool guy, because even after you murder your way across the continent, slaughtering his minions as you go, he still offers you a chance to serve beside him. Plus, he can turn into a dragon, which is always a plus.

Well, if we can use bad guys, is a Batman fan, Dhoulmagus reminded me of a version of the Joker with magical powers, and that's scary. But I'm still gonna stick with Jessica and her two defining features.

I feel left out because as much as I love playing RPG's I never really played any big ones. When I was young I was all Pokemon and Yugioh, then it was star wars, then it was everything WW2, back to star wars, now here I am in a gaming limbo.

Fair enough. More of a Chrono Trigger person myself, but I am a bit older.

Chrono Trigger is second, FF9 is third.

If I was older when I played CT, it probably would've had more effect on me. I didn't understand anything in that game the first time I played it, other than to not steal people's chickens, and that I liked engineers more than princesses.

Never played a Final Fantasy game in my entire life. Or Metal Gear. Or Dark Souls. Until recently, never played a Dead Rising game. Came to X-COM EU late, came to Bioshock Infinite late, came to Metroid super late, came to Mass Effect super late, came to Fallout super late and I've really only just started having a proper go at it. I'd say the only games I've ever played within a month of their release were Pokemon Emerald and Smash Bros 4.

So on the matter of which FF game is best, I'll defer to your judgement.

I'm the same way, although back then it was more just having a very limited selection of games more than refusal to play certain things. FF is basically the only high profile franchise I've followed since I was young, and even that's pretty limited. Even though I had an SNES that I played religiously, I only owned a few cartridges, most of them beat-em-ups and TV/movie tie-ins. Nothing really mainstream like Zelda, Metroid, Mario...except...

I will be posting another dreamscape sequence with Desmond. This will play in a little to his actions during the coming days, so I hope you enjoy his internal struggles.
