Also I will writing in my absence so expect a surplus of content when I returnSomething has come up and I will most likely not be on for the rest of today or this weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Well, considering Lusett met her demise along with Eve quite awhile ago... *nervous laughter* Though the Exalt legacy lives on in Elene, of course. That family refuses to meet its final end.Hey everybody, winter holiday's today. Yay!
So how is everybody doing? I've missed you all xD
Although I wish I could join back in, it would be too late probably and I would also only have two weeks til it's time to hit the books again...
But hey there is always some time to chat with you all ^^

Did ya ever get to read the EXALT-related posts, or did you abandon hope because of the sheer amount of content to sift through? I don't blame you at all if you picked the latter. xD
I woke up with either Pink Eye or some sort of acute allergic reaction to something. It took a few days to clear up and I just felt tired and groggy the whole time. On top of that, I'd gone to the dermatologist for a skin condition I've been having for a year, but they also removed two big moles in sensitive places that I'd had (smaller on in my arm pit, huge-arse one on my inner thigh). Now that's all fine and dandy, except that the larger one, to put it eloquently, left a giant friggin' crater in my skin that I nearly passed out like twice trying to clean. Also, I spent a few days focusing on applying for a class in January. Emotionally draining week...
Well, this sums up where I've been the last few days. I was busy with my sister and future brother-in-law visiting. Then when they left and I finally had the time and energy to draw, bam, power outage. A car hit a power pole right near the electrical plant that powers our region.
The plight of being a digital artist, I guess. 'Cuz y'know... it kind of requires power.
Regardless, I'm back. And I still need to do the friGGIN BIO.
Well, preparations for the New Delhi Campaign are nearly complete, and another mission crucial to the politics of EXALT happened.Sorry for disappearing again. The morning after I made this post;

So in short: Life is kind of gently kicking my butt this past week. It's not horrible, but just enough shite to pass the shite threshold.
Bio-writing momentum still at -5 m/sec.
I might not make it in time for that then. Besides, I'm not sure if little rookie Juni would even qualify for a big mission yet? Or if I do write her bio in time, then maybe we could do something like, "Hello rookie, we're short handed right now, you're on the mission. Good luck and have fun." I love subjecting my characters to emotional and physical trauma. Haa... I'm a terrible person.Well, preparations for the New Delhi Campaign are nearly complete, and another mission crucial to the politics of EXALT happened.
Nah, I think she'll be on base regardless. The soldiers going on the campaign already left, but we've been outfitting our Indian and Russian allies to stand a chance against the enemy. Juni would start off as a Specialist or Lance Corporal, though, so make sure you have her class in mind.I might not make it in time for that then. Got it. She's totally some form of support, but I need to look at the Long War classes and tech trees to figure out exactly where she'd fit. I've only played the vanilla XCOM: Enemy Within, though I have seen gameplay of Long War. I should maybe try playing Long War for myself sometime... The game would probably wipe the floor with me though, since I couldn't really handle even Classic on the vanilla game.Nah, I think she'll be on base regardless. If you can't handle classic it would kick your ass. You have to understand the new mechanics fairly well, and have the bonus aim second wave option on to stand a chance. xDGot it. I KNOW, MAN. It's so strange. I love strategy games and can be really dang good at some of them, but then there's XCOM. I've even watched arseloads of Let's Plays of XCOM, so I know how better players do it. I just don't recreate that very well, or something? Half the time, I feel like my soldiers just get wrecked by grenades out of nowhere. Also, my home base management game is really weak. I'm pretty good in the actual missions, but I have no clue what to prioritize when it comes to spending resources at base.If you can't handle classic it would kick your ass. As for the support classes, we have the Vanilla Support, the Engineer, and the Medic. If you look at the "Alien Character Sheets": the second page of that thread has a breakdown of class abilities for the RP, combining the different options in-game.
I have similar troubles. I got lucky today: I found four mutons (just now have beam lasers) and kiled one. one tossed a grenade, uncovering my medic. The other shot him, putting him down to 1 hp with a low damage shot. The other...missed, though my rookie later perished to the squad leader. Muttons...I KNOW, MAN. It's so strange.
