I was wondering how it was decided when characters die. Does the character's owner get to consent, or is it just, "The GM decided your character gets smited by a rouge, holy grenade," and that's that? Or is it just completely up to the character's owner?

The latter. We'd have to be a little more universally crazy to go with the former. Character death is up to the player, though if you are planning to kill a character (and especially if ya only have one) you ought to introduce the replacement beforehand.

And so I may have gone a little overboard. Anyone joining the minecraft server, you will see a tower rising on a small island near spawn that I constructed, and it is glorious. The tower is named "Poet's Tower" and gets its name from a few musings I decided to write on signs at the top spire.

That would be some crazy shite if it was completely up to unluck of the draw or a GM. Almost makes me want some kind of small, side roleplaying game where scenarios characters are put into are completely random. Like have people submit silly or crazy scenarios, have someone shuffle them, and then assign them randomly to characters. Could be a fun writing exercise to write your characters into scenarios you'd never put them into yourself.

The mind control works (because I decided to have it work like this) by directly influencing a persons precuneus, a section of the brain committed in part to personal memory, mental imagery, reflections upon self, and aspects of consciousness.

Other psions aren't effected because they have more mental barriers in thier minds to protect themselves from the strain of their own powers, and these barriers keep them out.

Alexia is a unique case. The mind control reaches her mind, but she simply ignores it (in a manner of speaking). As a secondary personality, much of her existence exists resides within Jessica's subconscious, and she has a lot less access to personal memory, and less of an sense of self, as her 'self' is technically someone else. Because of this, she relies a lot less on the precuneus when she is in control, and thus the mind control is ineffective on her.

Of course, this only works because she isn't the primary consciousness, not because of a resistant will. If it had been Jessica, Brigid would be in a pod right now getting modded (at least until someone else noticed and pulled her out).

But what about at the end of the post where Briged Mind controls Alexia into eating lunch with her? Did I miss something obvious?

(Completely unrelated thing.) Castle Crashers, What may be the greatest Co-Op Sidescroller Beat-em up in all of gaming is now under 2 dollars on steam... If you haven't played it. WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE!

Man, I wish I had people to play Castle Crashers with. I played like an hour of it with my sister and her boyfriend/my future brother-in-law, and it was awesome. However, we just never ended up playing it again. I actually recorded our first time playing it. I should watch the footage again for the memories. (and for the cringing. I swear, every year I get older, I look back at myself in the past and just think "Dang nabbit, I was a dork. In a bad way.")

Last time I went on a public Minecraft server, I became the cleaning fairy nobody saw. There was like a constant state of looting and war on that server, but I would sneak into people's bases and organize their stuff. I'm strange like that.

She didn't mind control Alexia, she mind controlled Alexia's supervisors into letting Alexia leave early. If the mind control had work, Alexia wouldn't have been hesitant or consider asking her boss if she could go early, she would have just left, and gone to lunch with Brigid even if her boss told her not to. Kinda like when Brigid asked her female escort (the dearly departed Margaret) to get something for her from the rec-room, and she got up and left, even when the other escorts tried to stop her.

So today I realized I have no idea how hair buns actually work. I even looked up hair bunning tutorials and was just like "wat".

Anyways, just a sketch and minimal color. I already see things I want to fix, hah. Like her hand that's on the surface. The arm either needs to be shorter to show foreshortening perspective, or her hand needs to be smaller because daymn that's a big hand.

Might do two versions of her eyes; with color contacts and without. Just because I love drawing strange eyes. *glares at half my characters*

I am just going to like drawing and image spam this board.
