I'am actually worried about that situation when it comes to psychics. Does anyone deserve to have that kind of power at their fingertips?

Dont' forget, although Eva has her basic modifications from Lusett and the gene mods XCOM gave her, Vee has like 10 mods total, and is built to be strong in a similar way to Eva, though she doesn't have the 'levels' system since I wasn't going to copy you.
Have a little faith in Atka. Desmond, similar. I trust Aya and Eve. The abductees seem okay, right? It's just a matter of whether the new ones will be like that.
Wait, are we talking about the same Desmond here? Ah, I remember the days you hated him...now you actually trust him.

Because he's changed, obviously. And I didn't trust him intially because then...he was a bad cookie. When Lusett died, that changed a lot of things. (Oh, Prisma, you spun such a complex web in EXALT with your departure.)

Heh. And to clarify to everyone, I didn't break the rule of 'two mods of the same type' with Vee. She actually has 1 of each of the 4 basic mods, excluding brain mods...for now. And a lot of the ones we made up. Here's her list:
Enhanced Vision (including Hyper-Reactive Pupils), Reaction Time Overclocker, Magnified Bicep Structure, Muscle Fiber Density, Dextrous Muscle Amplifications, Iron Skin, Adrenal Neurosympathy, Aerobic Respiration Boost [minor Endocrine, Circulatory, Skeletal improvements]
All this talk over the power of the gene-mods and psionics, I hate to break it to you, but screw you, I have magic. Just be happy I never introduced it into this series.

I want to, but as you can see in the actual game, psionics make you evil as crap.
It always freaks me out when my psionic soldier tells the aliens that he's their ultimate nightmare or that he wants them to bow before him. :/

Agree on them being scary, but you don't put enough faith in our people. We're not like those guys...aren't we?
Well, you know what they say about power corrupting. It is all a manner of keeping those people in check, reminding them of the dangers of becoming corrupted, and, sadly, having a plan to take them down if need be.
Put in a more complicated way, trust is important, but never summon Xel'lotath to take care of Ulyaoth unless you have a Chattur'gha-based spell ready to take care of her.
