There are likely a number of civilians within the apartment tower that were unable to evacuate. As with most other extraction mission, they should be pointed towards already cleared zones but not taken with, as doing so would only put them in danger, and the aliens focus on the target will likely result in the attack ceasing once the target is extracted.

I do have a question. Where did these "small missiles" come from? The SHIV?

The SHIV indeed. I established it when they were first developed that they have a small cache of missiles, but... but everyone seems to forget that...

I vaguely remembered it, but only after going back twice and being like 'where's this rocket unit I missed.' Advance Wars all over again.

And all it cost us was one soldier that was close to one of our main characters, severe damage to the SHIVs, and nearly losing Avanix.

Y... yay... animals?

To be fair, even if Avanix's body had been destroyed completely it wouldn't have killed her... but Sora's going to be disappointing that she'll be a hologram for a few days.
