My new cat is named Ammy after Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun from Japanese mythology. I named her that because one of my favorite games of all time is Ōkami, where the protagonist Ammy is a white wolf that paints with her tail. Since my new cat is all white with an inky black tail, I'm just like, "That's too perfect." Her personality even reminds me of Ammy from the game, too.
I have a bunch of pictures of her, but all the ones I've posted to tumblr can be seen on my #Ammy the Cat tag.

But yeah, for the badge/coin thing. Anyone got any ideas? I don't have a lot of details on it at the moment.

We put down some ideas a few posts back

This was mine: Wait, an actual coin? How badass would that be? Have the XCOM logo on the heads side with about half the names of each of our main, main characters and on the back the the other half of the names and maybe the Legion logo? (That or Exalt:p)

Gem: Though Sarge, if you want stuff to put on the coins I can give you the Legion symbol I drew as a basis. (Faction that split off Exalt and joined XCOM)

Dahl: Man having a X-COM coin would be badass, and I agree with Marine with the X-COM logo in the front. And ether the LEGION logo in the back,or the names of all the characters that we made.

A real coin would be awesome. I think it should be the XCOM logo on the front, maybe with a Legion symbol behind it, and on the back all of our primary characters (Morrigan, Emily, Atka, Desmond, etc)

So my hard drive forgot how Windows was supposed to work recently. Didn't forget anything else, thankfully, just how to startup. But that's why I've been quiet for a couple of days.

Regarding the coin convo, I approve.

Reminder that today is the last day for collaborations and solos before the big battle is set in motion. :eek: (Might have some time early Sunday but the latter half will be for the group Christmas post)

I should also state, in that vein... please, for the love of all that is holy, be available next weekend. ;) (I'd be hesitant to push it back even if someone can't make it since we'd be delaying an entire week with no content. Obviously I'm being hypocritical since I would ask for it to be delayed if something gets in the way for me, but... nothing should. And I have Atka, after all :p) We're going to do a little Friday with the storming of the Basti-err... Temple Ship, a moderate amount Saturday with the march to the bridge of the Temple Ship (and potentially starting the Phobos fight to ensure that we actually finish the next day), and a ton Sunday with the final boss battle. :cool:

Wait... If today is the last day for collabs, but the mission is next weekend. Are we just going to do nothing this week?

We're anticipating the Christmas post might take multiple days like the wedding. If we finish that early, and people are available, we'll start the mission early.

And like I said, Sunday we have most of the day as well. The main reason I'm doing Christmas on Sunday afternoon is to try to fit in Taxor towards the end.

And on monday-friday I doubt we'll be able to do much in the way of posts, since we're gonna have stuff like an aerial battle and other preliminaries to the actual mission. Lots of buildup.

Thanks. Trust me, I'm not much better, they're all just barely there from last-minute charges this week. I've written probably 40-50 pages of boring crap just last Sunday to this one. Overwhelming desire to just start drinking everyday and beg for money outside, but it's too hot out there... :(

Seeing as I'm going to lose a bit of time on the weekend (potentially), I reshuffled the schedule a bit. The last two events will include everyone. Tuesday is me, Zombie, and Pixy. Wednesday will probably be me and zmby, plus anyone that can make it (maybe).

Tuesday - Aerial Battle
Wednesday - Storming with NPCs
Thursday/Friday - Mission leading up to the Bridge
Saturday/Sunday - Phobos Fight
