Will the streams be archived because I can't guarantee that I will be there for every stream.
I believe so. Pepper was going to see if he could get that set up as of our last conversation.
My friends keep saying XCOM would be better in first person. I kinda want to know what you guys think.
Two words; "The Bureau". That was third-person, admittedly, but the basic premise is the same. I personally have not played it, and as such I will reserve judgement, however the general line I've heard is that it had potential, but didn't live up to it.
The idea in itself isn't bad. The execution, however, must also be good.
I don't think X-COM utilizing the whole "You are in command" thing would work in first person, unless they did something like Rainbow Six or SW Republic Commando, and even those were "restricted" (and I use that term very loosely. I did not feel restricted when ordering a door breach) to utilizing a single squad. The ability to freeze time to give commands seems kinda haxxy, but unless they used that same system of commanding your underlings it would be the only other option to provide a coherent experience.
*sigh*. I'm rambling again. Back on point;
A FPS set in the X-COM universe might work, but it might require eliminating pretty much everything that made EU so good.
Mind you, the Chryssalid sections would be pretty fun.

Oh god, please don't tell me I'm the only one who started with Pokemon Red/Blue. I'm not prepared to feel that old yet.

I don't know, maybe its just because I'm not a sports fan. I'd rather just get the latest Pokemon game then the latest NFL game. At least Pokemon makes more of an effort to update their games then small tweeks and slight graphic improvements.
Even for people who like sports, the games are usually so repetitive between editions because of the business side of sports games. Madden especially is exemplary of this. No competition + annual release = no change. I have a copy of '08 that I play with my friends up north that satisfies the same as the newest edition. Judging from comments and reviews and random places, it's a pretty common tactic with game savvy people.

Fear not, I started with the original green.

I think there's enough bad cover shooters on the market as it is.

I was like 5 when I played Emerald for the first time so I had no idea how to play it so the first pokemon game I played till the end was Pokemon Diamond and I was still really bad. I decided to just train my infernape and floatzel so I had infernape and floatzel at around lv70 at the elite four with a bunch of lv 30 pokemon to use revives with.

It might make me sound old, but until Pokemon Y took the top spot, Yellow was my favorite. 'Course, I'm no spring chicken, but they did a lot of things right with that one, particularly with the story, and besides, Yellow was my favorite character from the manga, even if she was a bit ... immature . I wish they'd make a game like that again. Maybe for Pokemon Z.

Pokemon Z is almost definitely happening with the fact that zygarde starts with a Z and is shaped like a Z which correlates with the other 2 legendaries.

Emerald was the best one in my opinion, REMAKE IT!!!
I think those remakes are currently stuck in the same nether realm as Half Life 3.
I remember when there was a section of Black/White's Elite 4' music that sounded exactly the same as the appropriate music from Ruby/Sapphire, and the reaction was essentially "Gen 3 remakes confirmed!"
One day...

I love Pokémon too!
But I can't quite recall which one I started on though... I know it was on the GameBoy Color...

Anyway I love Snorlax! He was my favorite Pokemon ever since I started the games, something about him being a Fat and Sleepy Panda was just the most adorable thing to me :p

I Transferred my Snorlax from game to game, His Body Slams were almost always Instakilling my opponent's Pokémon, so in the more recent games my main strategy was to throw out Trick Room with of my psychic types and then Watch Snorlax go to work :3

Not to mention the introduction of the move Snore, making Snorlax OP with his ability to just take a quick nap to heal up and still take pot-shots at the opponent while doing so.

My favourite pokemon has always been muk. I don't necessarily use him in the games but ash's one was always really friendly and he's a radioactive piece of waste who beat that bellsprout at the elite four when none of ash's other pokemon could.

Waitaminute, Ash got swept by a BELLSPROUT?! Didn't he have a Charizard or something?
Then again, this is Ash we're talking about.
My own favorite was Blazekin, but then Gen 5 happened and Scrafty came along. C.J. and I swept three of the Elite Four in White simply because of type advantage. And I always give him the Blackglasses.
Also, I love going into the grass in that one route in Gen 6 after the Paris city where the hordes are introduced and a group of Scraggy can just jump you all like "You came to the wrong neighborhood mother-"
