Did I ever mention how much I adore Shen? (The Ethereal not the Engineer. (Although she is good too.))
He's such a likable character, Zombie is very good at writing the Ethereals in an empathetic light, the best at it even. Acedia and Volupta being two excellent examples.
It almost makes me wish both my characters didn't hate them, although Anna could come around to Shen'lutusus due to her views on redeeming thme.
