So I found this video, OK it's a destiny lore video. But the concept of this video fits the current Cassia perfectly.
No... No no... You had to bring this... And honestly Hunters from the Dark Age were more like sherrifs of the old west, tasked with helping out with settlements and keeping the peace while the Titans built the first City wall and the Warlocks were studying the Traveler. Cassia isn't exactly a paragon of virtue.

I disagree, in lore it says hunters once roamed wastelands and wilderness making their own luck. The concept of that fits Cassia, because Cassia roamed the galaxy making her own luck.
Well you also got to keep in mind some Hunters had different agendas as well, and not all were good guys either, some turned to the Darkness and were hunted by specially trained Hunters.
