Name: Sasha Dragomirov (Саша Драгомиров)
Title/Role: XSDF Soldier, Support Class
Age: 24 (Appears 21)
DoB: March 4th, 2019
Sex: Female
Place of Birth: St. Petersburg
Nationality: Russian
Height: 1.65 meters (5’5)
Weight: 58.5 kilograms (129 pounds)
Hair Color: Brown
Hair Style : To just below the Shoulders (Green Tips)
Eye Color: Dark Green
Immediate Family: Modya (Father, 51), Jessica (Mother, 43), Mikhail (Fraternal Twin Brother, 24)
Place of Residence before XSDF: St. Petersburg, Russia

Appearance: (Measurements - 36D-27-32)

Sasha has just about as much contrast as her mother does with her split personality. She tries to maintain an athletic build, but sometimes ends up too thin from neglecting to eat as much as she should. This has made her build somewhere between small and medium, though, like her mother, a good amount of it has gone to her chest.

Personality:

Sasha has the potential to be cheerful and energetic, but often this is buried by her tendency to be depressed. Although the former was more characteristic of her early childhood, by middle and high school she kept mostly to herself, having been burned by those she thought were friends. Even taking medicine, it is difficult for her to lighten her mood, even if she maintains a happy facade to placate her brother.

Biography:

Amidst tumult in the damaged yet rebuilding nation that was Russia after the Ethereal War, two twins were born to a veteran of the war and a scientist from XCOM. They were Mikhail Dragomirov and Sasha Dragomirov, the One who is like God and the Defender of Humanity. Sasha didn’t exactly see herself in such a grand light, however, being one of many children born during the post-war baby boom. Her presence in a family of military heroes did much to instill her with a sense of Dragomirov pride, however.

As a young child, she was fairly happy. She had two caring parents, and while they were at work she spent her time happily with her grandparents, Stanimov and Katya, who were always pleasant to be around. In elementary school she did better than Mikhail, held back by his socialization problems. She made many friends, including one she could always trust to be at her side, a girl her age named Irina. Although soft spoken and exuding the stereotype of an academic introvert, not helped by her glasses, Irina was a loyal friend that supported Sasha, even if she seemed hesitant to join in with the Dragomirov’s other acquaintances.

Her friend’s hesitance would prove to not be without cause. In middle school, things changed drastically for Sasha, in more ways than one. Her split nationality began to be noticed more by her peers, as did her developing body, which drew the wrong kind of attention from boys and resentment from her female friends. Bullied and even sexually harassed on occasion, Sasha began to distance herself from others as teachers did little and she couldn’t bring herself to tell her parents. Her happiness began to fade as Mikhail’s popularity grew, giving his sister some resentment of her own.

Her only solace was in Irina, ever unwavering in her support of Sasha, even when Exalt Enterprise technology helped her eyes function as properly as anyone else’s. Despite no longer looking the part of a ‘geek’, Irina refused to leave Sasha’s side, despite losing any chance at being popular or having many other friends. Sasha clung to this singular friend like a lifeline, though her parents began to realize something was wrong when their daughter no longer talked about school, and her grades began to plummet.

By the time she entered high school, her ‘other’ mother, Alexia, could no longer stand by and wait for Sasha to be honest on her own strength of will. Confronting Sasha, Jessica’s alternate personality recieved the truth in a tearful confession, and immediately spurred Modya and Jessica into action. The school could not do much to punish her tormentors for past grievances, but being able to talk to a therapist seemed to ease Sasha’s heartache a little. This gave her time to study a bit more, taking a mixed interest in electronics and medical technology.

In tenth grade this simply wasn’t enough, though. Irina grew dangerously ill, and was taken to a special care hospital for extensive treatment, leaving Sasha completely alone at school. Jessica’s work preoccupied her more than ever with breakthroughs in sight, and Modya was kept from noticing her worsening condition by missing the majority of this, visiting the XSDF headquarters. Caught in this perfect storm, treated terribly by other students and being told she was worthless by her teachers, Sasha broke down.

On a particularly gloomy Thursday, Sasha returned home to a house lacking either of her parents, both currently away. She hardly spoke to Mikhail, wanting nothing to do with the popular kid that couldn’t understand how she felt, how hopeless her situation was. Finding herself in her parents’ room, she unlatched the simple electric lock on a drawer next to the bed, finding her father’s old Makarov pistol lying within. Pressing the barrel against the side of her head, Sasha was only stopped from pulling the trigger by the door opening, and Modya freezing in terror.

He begged her not to do it, doing whatever he could to plead with his daughter not to take her life. After what seemed like an eternity to Modya, Sasha lost her grip on the gun, and he rushed forward, kicking away the gun and embracing her tightly. Neither he nor his wife made the same mistake of holding back again. They were able to have their daughter diagnosed with clinical depression and promptly get her on medication to ease her suffering, as well as taking a more active role in helping her through her tough times.

Jessica worked mostly from home, putting some of her efforts towards assisting the doctors caring for Irina. Modya made sure to take more time off his job so that he could always brighten Sasha’s day by being there when she came home, happy or sad. Mikhail was guilt ridden when he found out what happened, and threw away most of his ‘popularity centered’ friends in order to keep an eye on his sister, partially blaming himself for what happened. This was enough to push her to do better in school, and despite having a bad reputation as a slacker, she persevered and was getting mid-to-high B’s in her classes, even an A in her science classes.

Despite this, Sasha wasn’t quite sure what to do when she graduated. Her inspiration came when Mikhail joined the military. She had her misgivings about following her brother, but realized that it was a golden opportunity to do more and carry on the family tradition. Reaching out to this glimmer of a sense of purpose, Sasha sighed up for the Russian army, following her brother into service.

Training camp was especially tough for her, being as that her mental fragility was not taken into account by the drill sergeants. One of them did eventually take pity on her, realizing special training would be required if she was ever to be forged into a real soldier. His will to help her wasn’t going to be enough with many other able-bodied baby boomers ready to serve, unfortunately. Seeing a ghost of a chance, however, he convinced Sasha to volunteer for psionic testing when it looked like she might not make it through the academy.

Sasha went into the pod, and came out a week later to the news that she possessed the strength of mind to manipulate reality, the strange power known as psionics. Hers were not particularly strong, nothing the young Russian woman could compare to figures of renown like Canada’s Atka Ipiktok, the reclusive Desmond Walker in California, or the woman named Emily Fischer living somewhere in New Hampshire. Sasha’s newfound determination, even not incredibly strong like her powers, didn’t let her give in, however.

Having psionics made her much more valuable to the military, and they overlooked some of her mental weaknesses. She wasn’t exactly thrown into the frontlines, though. Trained to stand behind others and assist them with her supernatural abilities, Sasha found herself using smoke cover to help breach some of the last enclaves of Humanity’s Defense, or help save civilians from rubble using her developing telekinesis. She didn’t develop her first ability as much as the other, however, not finding many situations where a rift would be useful after the anti-alien faction fell.

Although initially only helping take them down out of a normal duty to obey orders, Sasha found herself and other psionic soldiers the target of ‘anti-transhumanist’ sentiments that made her realize the shared plight between psions and the extraterrestrial visits. Her mother’s enthusiasm about them pushed her further along this train of thought, and helped her come to sympathize with the aliens. In a more peaceful collaborative effort with the XSDF, she had a chance to meet one of the Balmadaar from their homeworld, growing to like the brutish humanoids while being a bit bothered by the abrasive nature of the Replitians.

As the world began to quiet down further, Sasha realized that if she was to take the next step, to truly make a difference and prove to herself that she was capable of doing more, she would have to join the eXtra-Stellar Defense Force. Mikhail was opposed to the idea, worried about the danger his sister was putting herself in, but came to understand that it was something she had to do.

Name: Vindicta Exalt
Title/Role: Staff Member, Scientist (Head of the psionic subdivision and second-in-command of the science department)
Age: 24 (Appears 21)
DoB: September 30th, 2019
Sex: Female
Place of Birth: Almería, Spain
Race/Nationality: Australian (American descent)
Height: 1.70 meters (5’7)
Weight: 59 kilograms (131 lbs)
Hair Color: White (Dyed)
Hair Style : To the middle of her back
Eye Color: Light Blue
Immediate Family: Elene (Mother, 43), Markus (Father, 49), Mark (Younger Brother, 20)
Place of Residence before XSDF: Exalt Headquarters (Sydney Branch), Australia

Appearance:

Vindicta has a refined appearance to her, wearing formal white clothing, whether it be a uniform, dress, or just lab attire. Unlike the other Exalt women, her eyes are not modified with the serum developed by Lusett for specialized eyesight, so she retains a distinctive blue color to them. Despite her white-dyed hair, she looks young, and is certainly as attractive (one of the many things she got from her mother, being mostly a clone of the EE president)

Personality:

Vindicta has a somewhat cold and dispassionate outlook expected by a scientist, particularly and Exalt scientist, but that is not to say she lacks emotion. On the contrary, thanks to not being speed-grown, she has plenty of it. New developments are naturally exciting for her, setbacks are frustrating, and she has a bit of that Exalt arrogance. She has a distinct respect for psions, however, and is more patient and understanding than her mother tends to be.

Biography:

Vindicta’s existence is a curious one. Originally, the Ethereals had won the war against humanity and conquered the planet due to wiping out the majority of XCOM’s forces in a bombardment of their base. Elene and her sisters perished, and thus a secret project was activated to create an Exalt successor, Vindicta. Along with Atka Ipiktok, she managed to send one of their agents back in time to give XCOM a warning that changed the course of history. The XCOM forces fled their base in advanced, and ultimately won the war due to this second chance.

The last words of the messenger from the future were “Vindicta wishes to live”, words meant for Elene, who knew their significance as the clone that wouldn’t exist without her death… unless she changed the activation parameters. Deciding that she would not accelerate the clone’s growth, but she would indeed create Vindicta, Elene activated the project.

And thus, in this strange manner, the first daughter of the founder of Exalt Enterprises was born. Her DNA was only that of her mother’s, save for her eyes being the light blue of her father, Markus. Vindicta had a prosperous childhood, living in luxury. Elene made sure that she would not become lazy, having the original human A.I. Avanix educate Vindicta in a variety of fields. It wasn’t as easy as it was for her mother, as Vindicta didn’t have cranial implants, but her natural intelligence was plenty.

The only pitfall was how busy her parents were with work. Markus was home more often, but often acted as the public relations officer for EE, and her mother was naturally busy as president of the corporation. However, with Avanix helping running affairs, Elene did find a day or two of the week to spend with her family. When Vindicta was four, she received a brother, Mark. The two got along, though whenever Mark would come to her for help, the older sister often had a tinge of condescension in her tone.

The young girl showed a potential for psionics by the time she was ten, though Elene wisely waited until she was older to develop them. In the meantime, Vindicta curiously learned more about these powers she reputably could possess. She noted that while her mother had some information compiled on the subject, no one had wrote a definitive overview of psionics… save for a woman named Jeanne that served with XCOM and had delved deep into the skill’s inner workings.

Gathering that information and what limited files from Aetherum that she could, Vindicta taught herself everything she could about psionics in addition to her regular education from Ava. By the time she was sixteen and was awakened artificially, she was more than ready to wield her abilities. Being a yellow psionic fit rather well with her, being as Jeanne put it “the psionic shade suggesting wisdom”.

At the age of 18 Elene’s daughter went to college on Luna, renowned for her family name and her psionic skills (including electrokinesis, telekinetic fields, and developing abilities in neighboring colors). Avanix in her physical form accompanied Vindicta, both as an assistant and to make sure her time on the prestigious colony didn’t make her ego unmanageable. It was a wise decision, and with Avanix’s help, Vindicta learned how to argue her points logically with the conceited youths that made up her peers.

She earned a degree in the fledgling field of psionic science and was adept in other scientific studies. Vindicta had considered what to do after her four years in college, and ultimately decided on joining the XSDF. She was noticeably surprised by the fact that she became someone’s subordinate, but Avanix’s coaching kept her from losing her cool… even if the head of the science department was the head of another company.

And your second sneak peek. Figure Prisma wouldn't mind seeing Lusett's granddaughter.

Might as well see both then...

Name: Mark Exalt II
Role: Staff Member, Scientist (Head of the cybernetics and biology subdivisions)
Age: 20 (Appears 19)
DoB: November 30th, 2023
Sex: Male
Place of Birth: Sydney, Australia
Nationality: Australian
Height: 5’9 ft
Weight: 150 lbs
Hair Color: Black (Dyed)
Hair Style: Long tied back in a ponytail
Eye Color: Orange
Immediate Family: Elene (Mother, 43), Markus (Father, 49), Vindicta (Older Sister, 24)
Place of Residence before XSDF: Exalt Headquarters (Sydney Branch), Australia

Appearance:

Mark is a slim build with an average height. Mark keeps his hair long and usually keeps it tied back behind his head, dying it a black color as he did not particularly like his original lightly colored hair. He inherited his mother’s genetically modified eyes, although not retaining her reptilian look, kept the orange iris. His usual attire, both work and casual consists of a formal dress shirt with black tie and a vest over top, usually covering it all with a lab coat he keeps open. He has a small gold loop earring on his left ear and a leather necklace with the Avanix symbol.

Personality:

Mark is an intellectual of sorts, wanting to find the best solution to a given situation in the quickest amount of time. He has little patience for those who fool around, especially when that time could be used better. Often called cold, he does not deny the fact he is hard on others but it is only for the greater good. Calculating and analytical, he does his best to read a person and act accordingly, though usually falls into the standard annoyed and reprimanding state that he is usually in. Often looks too deep in a person, judging them wrongly and usually getting himself deeper under people’s skin.

Biography:

Mark Daniel Exalt II is the younger son of Markus and Elene Exalt, having been born naturally after his artificially created sister, Vindicta, came into the world. He was born on November 30th in Sydney, which was the location of one of the Exalt Enterprises branches. He was named after Elene’s great grandfather, Mark Daniel Exalt, who was one of the leading minds of the Manhattan project and renown genius.

From the time Mark began to read, he had been enveloped in the world of literature, reading books of all kinds throughout his life. Being taught at home rather than a public setting, it wa not long before the Exalt son was tangled into the world of science, learning from his father about applications of biology and its adjoining fields. However, as Mark progressed he became less involved in biology and began to branch out his knowledge to new areas, one in particular catching his eye. Cybernetics were a key part of his development, learning the ways that different mechanical devices were used to solve things like lost arms or paraplegic people. After he got more and more engrossed into that field, it was decided what his major field would be in.

Reading up on Cross Technologies cybernetic development and applications, as well as EE’s own resources, Mark began to try and work to try and do his own thing, even though he was still in his mid teens. Noting the concerns from his father and mother about not spending all of his time working in his scientific field and to experience new things and develop new skills, Mark made the choice to go to college when he was of age.

The college he attended was Harvard, easily getting in with the help of Elene and others, he decided he would major in biology and dabble in robotics. However in college, just like his family predicted, Mark experienced many new things such as his first girlfriend, first break-up, first college party and many more. It was a time he enjoyed and made many fond memories of despite his attitude towards others. One other thing Mark had did to try it was dabble in kickboxing, going to a couple of classes and rather enjoying the change from his usually timid cram sessions and studying. He didn't make anything out of it, but it kept him in good shape.

Unlike his sister, who had gotten the luxury of having Avanix help her attend college, Mark was on his own. Although the Exalt name was respected in Harvard, there were always students looking to prove they were better than Mark was. This led to heated rivalries for the Exalt son, which he in turned used to develop himself further into who he was, his calculating nature often getting him far with anyone who tried anything other than a rivalry. After the kickboxing lessons and occasional sparring match with his Aunt Emma the few times he got to see her, Mark thought himself more than capable to handle himself.

However, Mark quickly grew tired of the college lifestyle, deciding to drop his studies in pursuit of other options. Leaving college early, Mark returned to Australia briefly to reunite with his family where he learned of Vindicta’s plans for the future, deciding that he would follow his older sister in an attempt to gain his own knowledge and further his skills. Although he would never openly admit it, Mark’s alternative motive for his decision was the fact he did not want to leave his sister alone out of sibling love and jealousy of the opportunity she had gotten.

I also would have never thought that the AI Avanix would play such a huge role in the XCOM or XSDF I should say univers, I never planned it that way atleast. Originaly Avanix was based off of my main character in a manga series that I'm currently planning. That old profil picture that I had for a long time was acctualy Avanix xD

Now she looks more like this, incase any of you are curious

http://prismacube.deviantart.com/art/Project-Avanix-512813010?q=gallery:PrismaCube&qo=1

But dang, I just love the way how you guy's implemented everything and worked together to keep my story going, I'm really happy. Reading about all these new characters and the old once too is quite a story. The way Tz6 was keept is amazing, the way how Marine used the name Mark off of my lore is amazing. All the clones from Lüsset and what they have done is amazing, all I can say is that I'm amazed incase you have not figured it out yet xD.

I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you, in a strange kind of way. I'm really glad that you guy's created all of these great characters.

Well we couldn't just throw perfectly usable material out the window since you left. Besides, although I said I would take up the Exalts on your behalf, it really was Gem who made the whole thing possible and better so...yeah, enjoy your victory now Gem...for one day I will pass you...hopefully...not optimistic there...

Wow, so much of the EXALT family is joining XSDF. Well I guess EXALT will never be done with X-COM.
Well as Prisma can agree to, the Exalt family tree has really blossomed since Lusett's death. (Still hesitant to think of Eva's kid as apart of the Exalt family though...genetics and artificial relationships sort of make things screwy :p.)

This will be the last preview I show, but since I know how many people loved Desmond...here you go.

Name: Cayden Walker
Role: Paratrooper
Age: 24
DoB: July 1st, 2019
Sex: Male
Place of Birth: Malibu, California
Race/Nationality: Caucasian
Height: 6’2
Weight: 184
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Hair Style: Buzz cut
Eye Color: Red
Immediate Family: Desmond Walker (Father; 47); Elizabeth Walker (Mother; 45); Leo Walker (Younger Brother; 22); Bethany Walker (Younger Sister; 18)
Place of Residence before XSDF: Santa Ana, California

Appearance: Cayden has a well built athletic body, nothing extreme like a weight lifter but he is in great shape. He has dark red eyes that were inherited from his father, marking him as a natural psion, although he wears an inhibitor in the shape of a necklace on him at all times to help contain his power. Cayden’s hair is usually cut low in a buzz cut, his off work attire usually consisting of a dark jacket over a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans.

Personality: Cayden has adopted the special forces attitude that seems to come with the job, having an air of professionalism about him and a coldness that is undeniable. Due to the repeated urgings of his siblings however, Cayden tries his best to emulate how he was in his high school days, hanging out and making friends, and having a generally good time. He is able to do so to some extent, but there is a sadness within him, a sort of guilt that hangs over him after he suffered a traumatic event during his time with the US Airborne Rangers.

Bio: Cayden was born on July 1st, 2019 to Elizabeth and Desmond Walker in California. He is the eldest of three children, being the only child of the three to be born a natural psion.

Although his family was moderately wealthy, Cayden was never spoiled beyond the point it turned him rotten. He had a big home by the beach, when he asked for some small things he usually got them. Like any normal kid who grew up the way he did. At a young age, Cayden was always a natural athlete, spending time swimming in the ocean or doing anything active for the most part, although he put time aside for the electronics. In school, Cayden was borderline above average, passing with good grades and even joining the baseball team in high school.

However, there was another side of Cayden and that was the relationship he shared with his father. The two shared a close bond, sharing a mutual understanding with one another that served them well for years. Desmond took his sons-though more often than not Leo stayed behind-on regular hunting trips whenever the school went out for a major holiday. Cayden learned first hand from his father the use of firearms, Desmond passing on whatever experience he could to his son.

It was not until later in his life that Cayden was finally sat down and told the true story about who his father was. Although suspicion was always there, with Desmond’s close relation with his sisters, who happened to own one of the most successful companies on Earth, and his distant friendship with Sasha and Mikhail during his earlier childhood from his mother’s urging, Desmond and Elizabeth told him everything, sparing little detail. It was a lot to take in but Cayden finally came to terms with his parent’s pasts and he moved on, better for it.

After high school, when Cayden joined the 75th Ranger Regiment, he was very successful in his boot camp, flying through with relative ease. His experience as a light infantry airborne unit helped him greatly along his development as a person and he enjoyed the lifestyle, though urging from his parents told him to be cautious of a life in the military.

One day, their nightmares came true and Cayden was changed forever when a mission went wrong. He and his unit were dropped behind enemy lines, their mission to gather intel on reports of black market traders of alien materials in Brazil. When they were closing into their target, their unit was brought under heavy fire from the criminals. The market dealers were killed and the operation shut down when XSDF forces stepped in to assist the battered rangers but it came at the cost of most of Cayden’s unit, the Ranger losing two close friends and only him along with a couple others surviving to tell the tale.

Cayden was to be promoted to Lieutenant and was to be given command of his own unit but he quickly put in his resignation from the Rangers and he was honorably discharged shortly after. Now, a year later, Cayden was interested in following in his father’s footsteps, joining the XSDF to try and prove to himself that he wasn’t beaten yet and to repay the debt to the XSDF for saving him and remnants of his unit.

Special Notes:

Cayden wears a special pendant that suppresses his psionic powers, even after he was told the true nature of his abilities. Desmond did pass on some knowledge of psionics to his son, teaching Cayden the ways of telekinesis and pyrokinesis. Desmond did attempt to teach his son his unique Pulsar Core ability but Cayden has trouble maintaining his orb and doesn’t like how close you have to get to use it.

Although the memory of Cayden’s tragedy is still tender to him, even after the year it happened, he will be open about it, especially to anyone he may be commanding later on. With friends, it takes a little more to get out but he tries his best to move past the Brazilian incident.

Well... since everyone is in the sharing mood, I'll probably do two a day. So, since there is so much talk about Exalt, here is one of their deadliest competitors! (jk, if Elene really wanted to, she could crush this competitor.)

Name: Rei Tanaka
Title/Role: Science Division (Chief Science Officer, Acting Rank - Colonel)
Age: 40
DoB: August 10th, 2003
Sex: Female
Place of Birth: Yokohama, Japan
Race/Nationality: Human/Japanese
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 110 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Hair Style : Straight, To small of Back
Eye Color: Brown
Immediate Family: Hitomi Tanaka (Wife), Mimi Tanaka (Daughter), Yoshi Tanaka (Son), Atka Ipiktok-Wiewiora (Mother), Jake Ipiktok-Wiewiora (Father), Keiko Ipiktok-Wiewiora (Sister)
Place of Residence before XSDF: Shifting between colonies. Family's primary residency currently on Forseti.

Appearance:
Rei has an inquisitive look to her eye, and purposely wears glasses rather then contacts because she feels they 'suit her', and has never found a need for corrective surgery. She has fairly attractive features, if a little on the small size, though these are usually hidden beneath a 'scientist' facade, as she wears only a minimum amount of make-up, and is almost always dressed in a lab coat. Her hair is a little out of place in this regard, though if one asks her why she keeps it so long, she matter-of-factually answers 'because Hitomi like long hair'.

Personality:
On the outside, to one who does not know her, Rei can seem cold and emotionless, and she does little to improve her image in this regard. However, underneath the surface is a woman who is passionate about all she does, and a loyal and trustworthy friend. She tends to correct people, but knows when to be quiet. She is very serious, but she has a playful side she keeps just beneath the surface. On a rear occasion, one can catch glimpse of her dead-pan humor, and while she rarely laughs at another's joke, you might catch her turning away to hid a smile.

She's incredibly inquisitive and intelligent, wise beyond years, and uses the majority of that intelligence for the sake of her friends, and of course, her family.

Bio:
Rei and Hitomi's respective parents were good friends before the girls were born, and the two grew up together, becoming close after they started school. At the age of seven, Hitomi lost her parents in a car accident. Rei's parents fought and eventually won a custody battle with Hitomi's uncle, her only other living relative. Despite the decision that he was unfit to raise Hitomi, he continued to fight to overturn the decision, though he mysteriously ceased his attempts when she reached her teens.

At the age of ten, the pair became a trio when Rei and Hitomi defended Keiko from a group of bullies, and decided to take the shy, introverted girl, and help her become more self-confident. The three have been inseparable since then, doing everything together, making decisions together, supporting each other. After years of growing up together, Rei and Hitomi's feelings for one another, something they were open about at first, though started to hide due to the disappointment of Rei's parents.

When the aliens attacked her home during the Ethereal Subjugation war, Rei spent months with her friends in an alien abduction ship. She was slated for experimentation, and was only sparred from it by those scheduled ahead of her. She was eventually rescued by XCOM and brought to their base, but all of them had lost their parents in the initial attack.

After the loss of the girl's respective parents, the second set for Hitomi, the only thing that kept them from breaking down was each other. They came under the care of Jake Wiewiora, Keiko's neighbor and friend. While Rei was suspicious of the older man's intentions, she warmed up to him, as he acted as a surrogate big brother, always watching to be sure they stayed safe. He was even more open minded when she and Hitomi came out about their relationship.

When the war ended, the trio left to Canada to live with Jake and his girlfriend, Atka, whom had easily one Rei over when she rescued Keiko from an Ethereal attempting to use her. Rei and Keiko were adopted while Hitomi simply remained under their legal guardianship, allowing her to marry Rei as soon as they were old enough.

Rei did not let the invasion stop her education, studying harder then ever while on the XCOM based. She was out of high school by 16, and had a PhD in applied sciences and chemistry by 22. She worked for a number of organizations until she had made enough of a name for herself to open her own corporation, Tanaka Sciences. While not nearly as big as other companies, such as the ones run by the Exalts or Crosses, she would often work with them to supply materials, as well as well trained employees. Her specialty was using what they learned from the aliens to improve on terraforming efforts, and her company is leading the charge in an attempt to fully terraform Mars.

Her work has led her to jump from one colony to the next, but she always tries to find time for Hitomi and their to children, now seven, whom the mothers respectively had through in vitro fertilization. Still, her time away from them is hard, even if she doesn't always show it. Rei joined XSDF in the hopes of assisting them and having a more stable work environment, leaving her company in the hands of a trusted employee for now. With word that the XSDF ship Einherjar is heading to Forseti, where her family is currently living, it is little wonder why Rei requested to work on this ship.

Special Notes:
Rei looks at alien life from a practical viewpoint, and sees them as having the same potential for good or evil as anyone else. She has no issue with Cybernetics, gene-mods, or psionics, and has, in fact, developed low level psionics herself, having shown signs of them during her time with XCOM, and her exposure to her psionic parents, one of them being one of the three most powerful human psions on Earth, led to hers emerging naturally. She has only developed them to a small degree, however, never finding a need to have them fully unlocked.

What races have no players? I was going to make a bazir, but since Zombie has one, I'm wondering what else isn't represented.
