PoB: Tipperary, Tipperary County, Ireland
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 114 lbs
Hair Style: Short, slightly spiked, or straight
Hair Color: Red

Skills:
Morrigan is particularly skilled with smaller firearms like pistols and carbines, but can use larger weapons in a pinch. She is fairly tech savvy, and is a perfect choice to be a specialist. Morrigan is trained in the same hand to hand combat style as ADVENT.
Appearance:
Morrigan is on the small side, 5'4" with a BWH of 32B-25-32. She has fiery red hair that matches the fire in her eyes. Her body is clearly made more for speed than strength, and she keeps herself in great shape. Her face is attractive while not being model level of beauty.
She had a number of faded scars of various sizes across her back, as well as a few on the back of her arms and legs.
Personality:
Morrigan has fiery, spunky attitude, always eager to act, sometimes to a fault. She has clear anger issues, ones she keeps barely below the surface. This is useful on the battlefield, but not so much off of it.
Morrigan's main passion in life is her twelve year old daughter, Brigid Hunnigan. As long as XCOM keeps Brigid safe, Morrigan will fight for them, and die for them, for the sake of keeping her daughter safe. That said, she can be quite defensive when it comes to Brigid.
Biography:
Born on the island nation of Ireland, Morrigan was six when the alien invasion of Earth began. While not falling in line with the views of the Elders and the ideas that humanity needed the aliens to save them from themselves, Morrigan's parents did not wish for their own doubts to effect their daughters life, and taught her to listen to the aliens. Still, Morrigan was old enough to remember the change from human to alien rule, being eleven when ADVENT was first founded, and grew up with doubt. This would cause her to conflict with her parents, which led to the development of anger issues.
In 2024, when Morrigan was twelve ADVENT began efforts to evacuate all island nations to concentrate their control of humanity on the mainlands, starting with Japan. Abhorring the idea of leaving her home for an ADVENT run Megacity in Antarctica, Morrigan's acts of parental defiance reached its peak when, on New year's day, at the stroke of midnight, an extremely intoxicated Morrigan had a sexual encounter with a much older man she had only known for a few weeks.
She confessed to her parents six months later, when she first started to show. Charges were brought against the man, whom she believe was sent to prison and avoided her for the rest of her life. Morrigan was sent away from her parents, sparring her from being an outcast in Antarctica by working a deal to have her sent to a top notch ADVENT-run military school in North America. Morrigan’s parents were arrested during this time, and she was always suspicious of why such loyal citizens would suffer a fate like that.
During her time in the military school, the strict life, as well as the desire to give her daughter, Brigid, a good life motivated her to shape up and finally fall in line. She would later fall in love with a fellow student, Daniel Hunnigan. When they graduated, they both applied to join ADVENT. However, during basic training, Morrigan dropped out to concentrate on caring for Brigid, whose health took a turn for the worse. Daniel would later officially adopt Brigid as his daughter, and Morrigan insisted on giving the child his last name, partially to motivate Daniel to marry her.
This never came to be, as Daniel was always busy with ADVENT. A completely loyal man, Daniel never spoke of his work at home, the affairs of ADVENT not to be disclosed to outsiders. He did share one thing with Morrigan, however, and that was his training. Morrigan was never sure why this, of all things, was what he had the most passion about when it came to spending time with her, at least until Morrigan's twenty-fourth birthday.
With Brigid healthy enough to be left with a sitter, Daniel pulled some strings to arrange for Morrigan to join ADVENT. As fate would have it, a mere week before, an Ireland based resistance group teamed up with several other Europe based resistances for a single purpose; to send a message. She wouldn't have given it a second thought had they not listed several people that had been used as scapegoats by ADVENT; her parents were on the list.
She hesitated to accept Daniel's proposal, and claimed this message was her reason. He assured her it was a ridiculous claim, one that just proved how cowardly the resistances were, not laying claim to their own actions, but doubt remained in Morrigan, so he promised her, before she made any rash decisions, he would look into it for her. It is ironic that, three days later, when Morrigan decided she was going to tell Daniel, as soon as he got home, that she realized how silly she was being, and was going to join ADVENT, that ADVENT burst into her home and violently arrested her.
She was told Daniel was suspected as a possible spy, looking into the case Morrigan had requested being the final straw. They demanded Morrigan provide the names of anyone he, or she, had conspired with, but Morrigan had no names to give. Questioning soon turned to interrogation, and interrogation turned to torture. They ultimately learned that she knew nothing, and instead kept her for experimentation.
She was saved when an American based resistance group broke into the holding area she was being kept in order to rescue their allies. It would take another ten weeks for Morrigan to recover from what she was put through. At first, she couldn't even remember who she was. She would actually remember her daughter first, and that pushed her to recover faster. A year later, after completing a scouting mission she insisted on taking, she returned to her group's hidden base a day late. She had put her team at risk by finding out where the orphanage that had her daughter was, than breaking in it to reclaim her child.
This act destroyed her group's confidence in her, and she spent the next year relegated to duties including cleaning, cooking, and assisting with the injured, anything that kept her off the field and away from a computer. They did not want to risk her doing something foolish again like trying to see if her husband was still alive. It didn't help that her daughter was brought up to trust in the Elders, and had to be completely retought everything she knew. It was during this time that she was recruited to XCOM, who had great need of someone with her skills, and were more willing to take a risk on her. One who had seen the true evils of ADVENT and survived would do well with XCOM.

Brigid Hunnigan
Role: Civilian Supply Runner
Rank: N/A
Age: 12
Sex: Female
DoB: Oct. 1st
PoB: Chicago Megacity
Height: 5' 1"
Weight: 75 lbs
Hair Style: Straight, to small of back, usually done up in dual ponytails
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Green
Skills:
Brigid is a fairly intelligent and intuitive child, but a child none the less, and too young to grasp many of the adult level skills. She is a quick runner, however, just like her mother, and is good at moving objects about the ship between departments. During her down time, she is a speed reader, and is an exceptional artist for someone her age. She started learning to play the violin when she was only three, and often entertains the other XCOM members with songs.
Appearance:
Brigid is an adorable young girl with a delightful smile that warms the heart. She has long, silky blonde hair and big, expressive green eyes. Never being in the best of health, Brigid has a fragile frame, her skin fairly pale, and isn't very strong, being underweight. Now away from the various medical marvels of the Megacities, Brigid's health is subject to wild and seemingly random changes, having the girl running to and fro like a normal young girl one day, than suddenly bed ridden for days.
Personality:
Brigid is incredibly selfless for one her age, Morrigan raising her to have extremely high morals and have a clear understanding of the difference between right and wrong. Her mother has to keep an extremely close eye on Brigid, and seems over protective at times, but in reality, Brigid has a bad habit of not telling others when she is under the weather out of fear of worrying or bothering others, and has fallen deathly ill because of this on more than one occasion.
It is because of her high morals that Brigid is a confused little girl. She was brought up in a Megacity under the rule of ADVENT, and the sudden shift from them being the law to them being the bad guys was a shock to her. That being the case, she trusts her mother's judgement, and knows a little of her mother's suffering by ADVENT, even if the truth depths of their tortures have been kept from her.
