oh also, for anyone who plans to protest on here (regardless of if you listened to me or not), please stay safe. don’t trust cops. be wary of outsiders (cops or not) trying to incite violence. pack some milk in your med supplies for mace/tear gas injuries. be extra careful about tear gas because if expired it can cause cyanide poisoning. don’t underestimate rubber bullets either. good luck.
you know what’s weird? being in the first small group of people to protest in your area because no one else will or has yet. but despite the fact I was exhausted yesterday, it made me feel really accomplished that I was, and *will* continue to, bring light to all this around these small towns.
