So. I have been thinking about and working on characters for a My Hero Academia Short Story set in America. Would anyone be interested in seeing some of the characters/quirks I've come up with?

Let's start with the Three Main Teachers!
Name: Jillian West
Alias: Spiny Hero, Cactus Jill!
Quirk: Cactus (Obviously) Type: Mutant
Her skin has the texture, color, and spines of a Cactus! These spines can be launched out of her akin to Pin Missle from Pokemon when she holds her breath.
They are also Poisonous
Causing negative effects like Drowsiness, Dizziness, and Fatigue in small doses and Effects like Paranoia, Hallucinations, Blackout out and even Coma in High amounts.
These Spines grow back very fast, only taking a few seconds after being launched and are also thin as a hair. They only need one prick to deliver the poison. Enough use however can give them an hour or so of recharge time.
Being a plant. She needs alot of water every day or she dries out. But other than that, not many weaknesses.

NAME - The Copy Hero: Waxmaster
Quirk - Wax Clone! Type - Emitter
Details - Has the Ability to create identical, Wax clones of people when he absorbs the DNA of his target through his skin.
These Wax Clones have the Quirk of the Target, but are extremely fragile being made of pure Wax. He can control up to 10 clones on 'autopilot' a simple command mode (Attack, Defend, Retreat, Use Quirk, Etc) or control up to 3 with Manual, full control of all actions.
The Wax can and will melt over time at room temperature and faster at higher temperatures. Too many too fast and his clones will end if being reduced to autopilot control only.
Name: Rachel Madeleine/ The Gambit Hero, Roulette
Quirk Name: Shuffle Type: Emitter
Details: Has the ability to Shuffle the quirks of all quirk users in an area around her. This area is best described as a Twenty Yard area around her with no identifiable effects.
This ability is activated via the action of pressing the center of her hand like a button, this initiates the Shuffle Ability, randomly distributing quirks of all in the area around. However, she does not lose her own Shuffle Quirk, instead, the Quirk user whose quirk she randomly obtained loses all quirk powers entirely, becoming quirkless.
The effect of Shuffle has a two minute duration and CANNOT be canceled early. Additionally leaving the Shuffles Area of Effect does nothing if already Shuffled.
The most important detail of this quirk ability is that it DOES NOT affect Mutant Type quirk users. Mutant Type Quirk users are ignored by the Shuffle effect entirely, neither gaining nor losing any Quirks. Finally, the negative effects of overusing quirks does not transfer to the user of Shuffle. Example, someone uses a quirk too much and said quirk shorts out, if the user of Shuffle were to shuffle, they would be able to use the other persons quirk as if it had not been overused at all.

When I was a kid, I remember getting into Megaman villains, more from Nintendo Power and less from actually playing the games. I used to spend hours making up my own robot masters and pretended to be them while playing at the park.

Reminds me of my youth, where me and a buddy convinced a bunch of first graders to be Pokemon and fight each other with us as the Trainers. Unfortunately, the teachers put a stop to it after one too many Close Combats.

I don't out of choice. I started with the Anime and I would rather not spoil myself for it by reading the Manga. It's not like Jojo where each story is mostly self contained.
