Beat XCOM2 the other day. I'll post the final mission if anyone cares. I'd like to thank a few people for the final mission.
The Commander's Avatar, of course. Let's say it was controlled by Atka. Great weapon. OP psionics.
Yakone. Fantastic Ranger. Supreme accuracy at close range. Over powered with the sword, running in and slicing three fools at once. Runnin' and gunnin'.
Ayame. Ranger. Pretty much a double of Yakone. I love me those Rangers.
Leon. Grenider. Blowing up multiple foes or shredding the armor on the tough guys. Boosting aim. Unloading for a guaranteed hit.
Morrigan. Specialist. Support, though with everyone kicking ass, not too much healing is needed. Hacking robots to make things easier. Attacking with her gremlins, GZ-MO.
Lilith Van Dam. Sharpshooter. Finding a nest and picking off fools from the back to keep the guys in the front safe. Mostly focused on snipping but not too shabby with a pistol.
And finally Marx. Psionics (because why not?!). Stasis on the tough foes. Blasting fools with psionics energy and voids. Completely Dominating Berserkers.
Like I said, I'll post the mission if anyone wants to watch it. A weird glitch happened in it. In the final fight of the mook rush before the final Avatar fight (spoilers, sorry), I mind controlled a Gatekeeper because... well, why not? Commander's Avatar was strong enough for it, it was one less enemy to attack me that round, and it was strong.
Problem is when I killed all the other enemies, because the Gatekeeper was being counted on my side even though the mind control was temporary, it ended that part of the fight and moved me to the final match... with the Gatekeeper permanently under my control off screen. It caused the game to crash twice, first time just cause, and second time because I tried to do anything with it. So I had to do the whole final fight going through everyone else's turns then manually passing the turn to the aliens.
Other then that... I liked it. Much better fight then the pathetically easy-if-you-know-what-you're-doing fight from the first. Very intense and difficult as wave after wave of enemies flooded in.
It was a little rough for me too, but thanks to Lord Dorian Fucking Delamerque landing a rediculous Bolt Caster Crit on the last Avatar we cleaned house. I swear, every time I put Dorian in my XCOM playthrough he just rocks everyone. Just my most consistent soldier all around.
