That's too bad. Mary is an old friend of Erin's, and from what Erin has told her, she likes Betty. Would make for an awkward meeting.

Betty - "Who are you?"
Mary - "I'm Mary. It is nice to finally meet you. I was Eliza's caregiver and the one who work with her while she has..."
BAM! Punched in the head, unconscious. Bleeding, maybe brain damage.

Mmm... Well...I guess she would be okay if she's a friend of Erin's. Besides, if someone she didnt know said they were from there, it would be less immediate punching and more a powerful, yet silent apathy.

Just read the new bios for the beand Zombie and they are really good! All very interesting characters and all cool!

My personal favorites being Babani and Tezrian. Also, finding out that the Gravel guy thinks of Rumi as a sister has a lot of potential now that she is Alice's Thrall. I imagine it'll give him a hell more of a reason to fight and kill our resident vampire.

Just one thing that I would like clarifying... According to the Vampire Race Explanation you did in the TD info, you said only Elves, Human, and Thropes could be vampires, it didn't say anything about Netzi, is she a special case maybe?

so... what did people think of my solo? did anyone even notice it?

And Yes, sorry for not saying anything, I am curious to see what exactly he did to make him a criminal, but he seemed like a pretty good guy! And my guess is he's that 'Farseer's Son' you referenced before? That's even more interesting! Looking forward to him. :)

Thanks. I added pictures if you didn't get to see those. As for Vampire Netzi, I didn't mean to imply that there are no Vampire Netzi, only that they are extremely uncommon. Because Netzi are a 'special' race outside of the normal evolutionary path the other Terrian races, the vampire thing just never seems to effect them. But it is not impossible. It's just, instead of other races which range from a one in four to a one in ten chance of turning, Netzi are something like one in a thousand. The only thing that has a lower chance is a Faerie, which is closer to one in 6000, and Merfolk who are completely immune thanks to unique features in their physiology.

So, I went ahead and took note of all the medical issue each of my characters would have in real life. here's the list

Clinical Depression, high risk of cancer and asthma

Post traumatic stress disorder and a natural low fertility rate (very unlikely to have kids)

Post traumatic stress disorder, multiple personality disorder and autism

Well, now I'm curious, what about Ophidians?

D-pressing. But then, fitting for the world.

I ever tell you guys my dreams sometimes seem prophetic? Only for bad events, usually confined to me. The way it works is that my dream will have a scenario that won't be mirrored perfectly in reality, but it seems to predict a similar result.

Last night I dreamt that there were nuclear detonations going off, and radiation was poisoning the air everywhere. You featured in it, Zmby. I met you at a bunker where people's rad-posioning was being treated, and we were going to go and try to find a more permanent shelter.

So uh... if any of you guys hear massive explosions, I swear I had no control over this. The precognitive dreams are never lucid.

It's more likely that your brain is pattern matching the events of your dreams onto real life, with a touch of confirmation bias - you have the bad dream, then such and such time later something seemingly similar happens, whereupon you remember the dream you had. However, you don't remember the times your dreams didn't mirror reality, because nothing happened that triggered your memory of those dreams. Thus, your dreams seem prophetic.

Honestly, an appropriate metaphor is that dreams are like https://libraryofbabel.info/ - an absurd amount of data being filtered through your brain, but when you search for specific things, there it is. For instance, here is this post in the library of babel:

Well yeah, I'm not saying for certain it's metaphysical. Certainly most of my dreams have nothing to do with the future. It's a weird mixture of confirmation bias, as you say, and things lining up in an analogous way. Basically like the dreams are metaphorical rather than precise predictions. And since metaphor is about interpretation...
