Is it weird to say, when Buniq is being shy and timid, I just want to squeeze and cuddle her, like a frightened animal dat I just wuv to hold in me arms 'til it feels better.

Working on the next Kitty post while at work. Then I'll be working on the introduction to the extended mission in New Delhi, so if you haven't decided if you characters are going or not, you should do so soon.

Now it's time for...Adramma reacts to: Operation Triumphant Vengeance!

Alpha Team:

  • I like the less crazy but still uncomfortable-to-be-around-at-least-for-Atka Ashley. The writing has improved a lot too since the start of this whole thing. Good work.
  • Poor creepy hybrids. May you have happier days in my neverending nightmares.
  • For a medic, Ashley don't take no prisoners.
  • Organs continue to be as interchangeable car parts. Send idea to German developers: Organ Rearrangement Simulator 2015.
  • I feel bad for Buniq, but I would still run away screaming if I saw her.

Beta Team:
  • Who gets the Skeleton Key after the mission is done? Because it would make a great desk toy.
  • Giga-Chryssie, son of Tera-Chryssie, father of Mega-Chryssie.
  • You're fighting bugs and cursing the fact you have a flamethrower?
  • I never imagined the term, much less the imagery, for the phrase "group impregnation." Now I have. Thanks, Pixy.
  • Beta Team confirmed to not follow the Saints maxim, "less mercy killing, more fun."
  • It's like water polo, but different.

Delta Team:
  • Dramatic entrance.
  • I was not aware Sectoids had telekinesis.
  • That hovertank is just a hover SHIV that doesn't know it yet.
  • In 2060, two teams of twelve robots as tall as trucks will fight on the gridiron. This sport will be called Ayameball.
  • Yay, reunions!
  • I'm sure Gamma team is doing alright.

Mission at large:
  • Extremely intense for everyone. Well done.
  • Again, Sectopods. The shit.
  • Ayame is panicking, that's new.
  • RIP in peace, Grant Imahara. [Mythbusters quote I can't look for because it's not on Netflix anymore].
  • For a giant robot, Amanda don't take no prisoners.
  • Good thing those rifles waited for everyone to be done before they exploded.
  • Vastly disappointed that Samuel's head wasn't carried out on a pike.
  • Muton fight!
  • If Albert gets haunted by his past much longer, I'm worried he's going to shave his head and start wearing hawaiian shirts.
  • OH GOD GAMMA TEAM IS NOT DOING ALRIGHT

Zombie's reaction to your reaction: happy to see you were entertained. And don't worry, Emily. I have one or two big missions planned for you. Let's just hope, when you are finished with them, you aren't cursing yourself for wanting them.

Intro to the New Delhi campaign is up. The next Kitty post is ready, but I need a small contribution from Gemini before it can go up, so expect it later tonight.

Wholeheartedly agree.
  • I feel bad for Buniq, but I would still run away screaming if I saw her.
I'm more with Zombie on the 'squeeze/hug her even though she'd kill me in fear' feeling.
  • You're fighting bugs and cursing the fact you have a flamethrower?
Indeed
  • I never imagined the term, much less the imagery, for the phrase "group impregnation." Now I have. Thanks, Pixy.
Funnily enough, I forgot that's how the Giga-Chryssalid died until Pixy actually released the mission, although I viewed it while it was being made.
  • Dramatic entrance.
*bows* "Thank you, thank you."
  • I was not aware Sectoids had telekinesis.
When?
  • In 2060, two teams of twelve robots as tall as trucks will fight on the gridiron. This sport will be called Ayameball.
Sounds glorious.
  • I'm sure Gamma team is doing alright.
*Hehehehehe*
  • Ayame is panicking, that's new.
Caught me by surprise a little, though to be fair, so was Atka.
  • Vastly disappointed that Samuel's head wasn't carried out on a pike.
I think everyone is.
  • Muton fight!
Mano e mano.
  • OH GOD GAMMA TEAM IS NOT DOING ALRIGHT
Yeah...rest in peace, all eight of the people that are listed on the memorial wall. Plus the 3 that died on the rest of the mission.

Well, they use their psi powers to active the telekinetic shield that the Mechtoid's have in game. By themselves, the Sectoids can't use telekinesis, but the machine has an interface that converts the energies that would otherwise be used for mind merge into a shield. Or something.

Alright, everyone. The New Delhi Campaign is soon, and here's what its looking like.

New Delhi Campaign
:

Soldiers - Lt. Atka Ipiktok, CPL Modya Dragomirov, CPL Ayame Kasagi, CPL Amelia Fischer, LCPL Ryan Gregory, and NPC Soldiers (For sure, Atka's 'squad' and Amelia's 'squad')

Staff - Central Officer Bradford, Dr. Sonya Randolf

Volunteers - Chandra (For Medical Staff *both in XCOM afterwards and for the campaign*), Veda (For Security Staff *both in XCOM afterwards and for the campaign*)

As for people not coming, this is the roster.

XCOM HQ:

Soldiers - Cpt. Aya Brea, CPL Desmond Walker, CPL Ammelia Cross, CPL Eva Aegerter, CPL Ashley Van Dam, any NPC Soldiers that don't go on the New Delhi Campaign.

Staff - Commander Morrigan O'Brien, Dr. Vahlen (Science Head), Dr. Shen (Engineering Head), Dr. Elizabeth Rinly (Medical), Eve Brea, Jessica Lockheart (Biology), 'Penny' Anderson (Combat and Mechanical Science), Thomas Burrick (Assistant Records Manager), Albert Foulke (Current Security), Ben (Mailman),

Volunteers - Catherine (Medical)

If you want to come on the campaign, whether you have a soldier, staff, or volunteer member you changed your mind on, speak now.

I think I've worked out what Brigid's "magic power" is.

"These are not the SHIV's you are looking for."
Nail on the head... in a manner of speaking. 'Course, old Ben wasn't an impressionable six year old with little life experience and no knowledge of his own powers, let alone how to control them.

Well, if there are no further objections, then the New Delhi Campaign is the domain of myself, Adramma, and of course, Zombie. Marine's role will be minor since Ryan is a minor character anyway.
