Goes along with my 'mindless killing machine' theory (and it did happen to me a lot in vanilla). Of course, I've had one or two times when a floater or muton targeted a civilian over a soldier, but I never got the feeling they were avoiding my soldiers to look for civys. Chryssalids? All the time (you purple, crystallized bastards).

Actually I think it goes against them being just mindless. I mean, if they just wanted to kill everything in sight, don't you think they would go after that guy with the gun standing right next to them instead of the civilian standing way in the distance? It's like something is telling them, "Kill the civilians first, the more you kill the more zombies will be created and the more likely this country goes into total chaos."

Well, revealed eight floaters, and 4 overwatched, trapping my medic. Should be interesting...

Rocket scatter worked for me and blew up two of the overwatched floaters, and a lucky pistol shot killed the third. Dash dealt with the fourth overwatch.

Technically, she was a USMC Scout Sniper. However, in XCOM, she will be a pure Sniper. Apologies for the confusion.
