I have to disagree with you there. Viktor clones himself, he created Desmond Walker. He doesn't give a shit about that research, he just hates the family because he blames them for his brother's death.
Kind of bare bone but yes. Just a correction, Lusett created Desmond Walker.

Right, Zombie said it better if you missed it:
But Viktor has no problem doing the exact... same... thing. Remember, he decided to keep using the clones for his personal vendetta against the world before Elene even woke up. Lusett was guilty. Viktor is equally as guilty, if not more so for continuing the research he killed Lusett over.

Yeah... sorry, Frost, but I'm gonna have to side Gem on this one. I can understand Viktor's motivation, and I could see why David would do the same thing, but just because more then one person would do the same thing doesn't make it any less wrong. And don't forget, Viktor might have a 'reason' to be vengeful toward Lusett's children for following in her footsteps, but Elene has reasons for vengeance since he murdered her mother. Vengeance just leads to more vengeance.

And... the fact that you say David would go that far... kinda scares me. I've learned that you are willing to kill your main characters, and should you kill Ammelia, it really worries me that not only could David flip and try to kill Morrigan for allowing his daughter to die, but should those close to Morrigan turn on him for killing Morrigan... he'd have no qualms about killing them too. What if it was Brigid?

If David would go nuts and kill everyone involved with those that he believed "caused" Ammelia's death, that sounds insane to me. And if Ammelia does die and that happens, it's creating artificial conflict. I can't believe that any sane person would do something like that.

It really depends on how Ammelia would die...

David wouldn't kill Morrigan for allowing his daughter to die. If she died on a mission, that's up to chance.

But if Morrigan's actions directly killed Ammy, like if she ordered Ammelia to stay behind and disarm a bomb to get the rest of her troops out while knowing it would explode upon it being disarmed. That's the kind of thing David would do that over.

Look at your own peril!

Viktor is a very hateful and non rational man at this point in the story. He was not always this way though. When he first became a co-worker to Lusett he did get in the occasional disagreement with the woman but nothing serious, just work bickering. However, when the original 'Desmond' became sickly he asked Lusett to bring the sibling to their place of work so he could keep an eye on him. After some time, when Desmond was cloned and Viktor freaked out on Lusett, Desmond wasn't dead quite yet but very close to it. After Desmond's health was failing, that was when Viktor wanted out. He began to try selling research for money so he could take his brother away and care for him but when Lusett found out he was thrown in a cell. Very shortly after that, Desmond died while he was in his cell. He was left in that cell for ten years, his anger and resentment of Lusett growing with each passing day. When Lusett foolishly let him out for help and killed her, his original vendetta was sated. Until Elene came to be. When he realized this, his hate was rekindled and he realized that he hadn't sated his desire for revenge at all and as long as any remnants of Lusett was around, it would haunt him. So he set out to destroy her legacy. Another motive for him of taking over the world is to beat the aliens and become a supreme ruler. Viktor envisioned a world where no human would be susceptible to weakness or frailty at the hands of disease or any other factors that make humanity weak. And for anyone who thought that Viktor threatening Lily in the way that I think I made pretty clear, when he first worked with Lusett he did become a little obsessed with her. This combined with the fact that he wants to mock Lusett in any way he can and Lily resembles her so much...you see where that would come from. Won't say it is not a possibility but keep in mind there is a reason behind it...a very, very fucked up reason.

Okay, so now that you reminded me that Viktor kept cloning. (Kinda looked that little detail over. :/)

I can safely say that David definitely wouldn't do that and Viktor is a huge dick for being such a hypocrite.
I am glad that we've come to some consensus. You have really good points, but like you said... he's a hypocrite... and a douche...

Well, Brigid's just a child... She would defend her mother's actions without really thinking about it how wrong they were... So no...
Alright, good. Still think David is a bit nutty, but at least he'd have reservations about killing Brigid. Something tells me Viktor wouldn't hesitate for a second to kill an innocent child, and take her candy while he's at it. No offense, Marine.

Wait, why am I saying no offense? Fuck Viktor! He's an asshole. And damn it, Marine, how am I going to make Invidia half the prick Viktor is? You ruined it. You ruined the plans with the character you introduced for the character I wasn't even considering at the time. Wait... I'm not help my case, am I? Damn it, Marine, now you made me look silly. I totally didn't do that myself by typing all this and then not deleting it before hitting post repl

See, Elene and the others might not die, but that happening to her little sister might be a worse fate. And cruel Gemini is laughing. Shut up, evil me.

Wait wait wait! Does Viktor want to do what I think he wants to do to lily?!

Alright, I'm on board...

Alright, something I wanted to share with you guys. During the Ethereal post, there was a bit of focus on Invidia, and there is a reason to that. In order to pay homage to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, I plan on making her on horrible, horrible being. One that makes Samuel look like Dante. One that makes Viktor look like Atka. If you've seen FMA:B, you probably already know why. If not, this is envy. And please, watch both through to the end so you get a true taste of why a absolutly love, LOVE, to hate, HATE, this character.

I feel a bit of Desmond in Ed and Scar...and even watching the series two times those scenes still get under my skin.
