Someone abandoned her nearby and we live near a creek (in Florida, so alligators), she was wandering near there and we stopped her from going in.

So something occurred to me while writing the mission I'm working on right now.

Hasn't really come up yet, but does everyone remember how we established that the Chyssalids, obsessed with breeding through living hosts as they are, would likely ignore the SHIVs until said mechanized units become a threat?

(Ten brownie points if you catch my line of thought)

So use Shivs and Automated combat vehicles to detain them for study?

Live chryssalid would be way more interesting than dead chryssalid.

Mecha-Lids, capable of impregnating SHIVs? Hmm, that might be a good way to bring in the Celatids or vanilla-form Silicids...

Speaking of brownie points, you get an internet if you can guess Luxuria's collected data points in Part 2. They do all mean something. :p

Indeed.

At any rate, my line of thought was they wouldn't have any life sense for androids. So, while they might attack Alice on sight, especially when she's alone, because she looks human and gives off energy signatures similar to humans, with Avanix's battle suit, and the Legion androids, they'd likely ignore them if a human was nearby to catch their attention.

Posting that mini-mission now which turned out to be... not so mini. Could have posted it earlier, but I needed to make sure every one had time to read Adramm's post. I'd hate to take attention away when he worked so hard.

Anyway, enjoy.
