I'm starting to wonder why we didn't name Conquest Pestilence instead.
Indonesian?Incidentally, it might look completely random, and I wouldn't be surprised if none of you recognize it, but the language that Famine keeps using is actually not random. I will open up the vault and give you a thousand, that's right, a thousand brownie points, if you can guess/know what language it is.
Is a real(ish) language, but not one of this Earth.Indonesian
Uruk? Klingon? (Or whatever that race name was, from star trekIs a real(ish) language, but not one of this Earth.
Damn it...figures it is from one of the only FF games I never played. On the right track. Anyone here ever been to Spira?
Feh, Final Fantasy crap I wouldn't understand.
Square Enix's most popular series, and a lot of time and effort are put into them. Not sure if I'd call that a cash cow. Maybe the HD remakes, but not the original. Especially when compared to sports games, racing games, wrestling games, and shooter games that release the same, only slightly upgraded game year after year.heresy incomingCash Cow. That is all.
I'm not sure I understand. Each new numbered game has a different story, different worlds, and they implement different battle and leveling systems in each game (sometimes to the annoyance of the fans). You really can't say that about the Final Fantasy series without also saying that about Super Mario Bros. or Legend of Zelda, series that are far, far worse at repeating things then Final Fantasy.I am calling the latter entries expensive, but I mean that they're catering to people that want to see more of something that ought to be finished rather than run for over a dozen games. And thus they make gobs of money for the company instead of them innovating with a new series.
And my overhyped judgement is somewhat vindicated by such a vehement defense.
I only played 4,5,6 so my knowledge is pretty limited when it comes to Final Fantasy but they weren't the be all end all games that I thought they would be. (6 being a sort of exception as the story was great but someone spoiled it for me which ruined the experience. I just hope the new ones coming out revitalize the series like some fans are hoping.I'm not sure I understand. Salt detected. I said that because FF is absolutely irrelevant to me since I don't have the time or drive to play those games or learn a lot about them, and thus the reference you made with Famine was lost on me.Or refer to it as crap I wouldn't understand...
