Woooo the most Characters ever seen an grayliensgaming, we deserve a medal.
Next 2 parts of the Fate storyline are up.
Good to hear they aren't taking it too fast, though it isn't too surprising considering, you know, Desmond. Just hope they take their time. Trust me, the season three version of Alexia (who actually reminds me of Ellie in terms of maturity) rushed into things with Zain, and that ended up with a bun in the oven, and Ellie doesn't have the financial backing Alexia did. Not to mention what it took to get Zain to support the idea of keeping the child, let alone a clone soldier that probably shouldn't be socializing with Ellie in the first place, let alone knocking her up.
That being said, I like the idea of the relationship benefiting both of them, giving Ellie the kind of support she couldn't get from a female friend, and giving Desmond a link to humanity.
I am glad I got the response I was hoping for

Yea but here story will continue.
Well, start deciding if your character wants any meld, for one. We'll be introducing the genetic enhancements like the game did, though I am willing to allow one unique ability for each character, as long as it connects the the characters back story, natural abilities, or back story in some way. I'm only plannig on one Mech amongst players, so if more then one of you want it, it'll go to the person that convinces me they deserve it the most.
The arc throwers are available, so you could post something about learning to use them.
And it might take me a little bit to get the next mission together, but I can tell you it will include Modya and Albert (in separate units), and the one after that will be for Desmond.
And finally, we have a new NPC character on base, though for obvious reasons, it'll be quite a while before most of you will be able to interact with her.

For me specifically, I having a couple of things in mind. I want to get back on track with Thomas and his curiosity in Desmond, as well as anything he might end up doing along that path. Secondly, Modya will probably interact with Ammelia again at some point, and they'll be more stuff with him following that bad day he had. Finally, of course, Atka's got a lot on her mind, so someone might catch her restlessly training in the gym or pacing somewhere, or deep in thought. (I have no specific plans on anyone to talk to her, so that depends on who is interested.)

Okay, so here is my theory on why she is a Merc.
In this Universe Anna's Father never died, he was instead honorably discharged from the military and returned home. Because of this, he was there to make sure Anna never went out on that date with Kris Tearren, the one that ended with her being kidnapped and sold into slavery. Now Since Anna was never sold into slavery, she was never rescued by the Russian military and never joined them feeling like she owed them a debt. Therefore, because Anna was never in the military, she wasn't at the bar to save Ayame the night she was about to be raped, and thus, never met her. Finally, because Anna and Ayame never met, she never knew about X-com, and thus was not able to join, and because she was not able to join, she needed to find another way to put her Martial Arts/ Fighting prowess to good use, so, she became a Mercenary.
There it is, that's how Ayame became a Merc.

(Sorry for being blatant about this, but the last time I was too vague, I think, and no one picked up on that fact that I was open to anyone asking to rp Or people will busy, equally likely, but I like to be sure)

That is actually an interesting thought, and I might just have to incorporate it at some point.
You know what the funny thing is? Without even thinking about it, I started watching a show from the mid-90s on Netflix. Anyone here ever see a show called Sliders? It is about four people that jump from one alternate universe to the next, trying to find they're way to their own world. I'm still waiting for the episode where they land in a dimension being invade by aliens, and they have to join X-COM to help fight them off.

You know what's funny about that whole theory? Anna wouldn't of had such a terrible life if her father didn't die. She's probably baking cakes somewhere, the alien invasion, a distant thought. But, we also have to think about it this way, if Anna's father never died, she never would've met Ayame and all her friends at X-com... Worth it? I guess that's up to you to decide.
That might be true, and it has its obvious negative connotations, but it also means she wouldn't have died in X-COM either. And quite frankly, I like the idea of Anna living a happy life somewhere.

You no it's kinda funny Ayame is season 3 was very shy and nervous, but in our universe she is shit talking smart ass that kills for money. my what a different universe does to a person.
I've based her personality on the version from my Resident Evil story. You'd remember her as the one from the dream sequence that was rude, obnoxious, and overall bitchy. Though as she is not the subject of an evil experiment, she will not have the ability to pick up severed limps and reattach them like false nails.
