Breaking news on the war front
GENE MODS: We've seen some cah-ray-zee gene mods coming out of X-COM and EXALT this week, including reptile skin, super-eyes, and bones as hard as steel. But India is working to prove that they need neither of these corps, as they are pioneering their own gene mod, aimed at making sure their soldiers have no backbone.

Hey, now, I'm sure they have their reasons. I'm not sure what those reasons could be, but I'm sure they have them.

On a completely, entirely different subject, I wonder if the aliens have a base somewhere on Earth. Probably hiding under a desert somewhere. Quick, someone check Antarctica! I don't like the way those penguins are looking at me!

Penguindrum. Look it up. it's a weird little series with blue penguins, a sick girl that dies and is brought back to life by a hat possessed by some eccentric being that likes to abuse the girl's brothers, a terrorist plot that will keep you invested despite the weirdness, and a crazy girl that becomes so enamored with her teacher, not only does she start sleeping underneath his house in order to be near him, but at one point, while in his house, she knocks him out for the purpose of giving her first time to his unconscious body (you'll have to watch the series o find out what happens).

Oh! I forgot the subplot about the father that wanted to fix his daughters physical imperfections...

...with a hammer and chisel...

Oh! And this woman's insane grandfather:

And yes, he has that piece of paper on his face in every scene.

Work on cybernetics by ZombieSplitter and a lecture on chryssalids by myself. Enjoy both of them, though I must admit, I think the Cheshire cat A.I. tops Atka's somber instruction. Loving the Alice in Wonderland theme to Sunny's work. I wonder how "Taqukaq" did on the terror mission...

It gives me a sense of accomplishment seeing all these characters work for Desmond. I can't wait to see how these stories progress

Cheshire Cat's AI is based on the personality of the character from the Alice Video Games. My personal favorite adaptation of my favorite character from my favorite book.

And the Taqukaq SHIV was the only one to come back without any serious damage.

Sunny will not be happy, I feel sorry for her.

I am using Desmond being in a comatose state to try and tell some of his back story. You all know that he has many scars, and that he had trained in Japan but you don't really know the story of what went on so here is the first part to tell his story. Also in case you can't use math He is 16 in the flashback.

I'm a bit confused...why would their the fact that their reproduction is asexual play a factor in how we murder the darn things?
It prevents soldiers from attempting an ill-advised kick to the crotch to incapacitate one.

On a side note, if at any point any one of you see me skulking around on the google document, feel free to hit me up for a collab or something, assuming you have an idea for it anyway. I may not respond immediately, but I will always check back frequently.

Knowing they are use only parthenogenesis to reproduce is fairly useful information. It mean that all Chryssalids are natural clones, regardless of their host. They will never develop new traits or change their behaviour because their genetics are identical to their parent. If you know how to kill one, you know how to kill all of them. Seems like pretty valuable military information to me (completely ignoring the further implications of scientific interest).
