Oh, there will be SHIVs. Trust me. Especially since one of the main manufacturing rooms will be part of the battle area.
And are you implying that Ammelia will be in charge of the mission... under my control? Frostlich might have something to say about that.

Mmkay, cuz Sunny would be the only one able to peel Emily away from this battle. If she's safe, Emily is in.

...as long as she isn't working on the SHIVs when the aliens attack. 'Cause if she is, she'd be right in the middle of the fight, surrounded on all sides. And that would be bad. Might need someone to come and save her...
Ahem... let's cut the sub-text, so no one makes a decision thinking otherwise. One of the two people involved in the main fight will be Sunny, caught in the SHIV manufacturing facility between the Command Center and the main entrance point of the aliens, act as an incenive for players to fight through the base rather then staying in the Command Center and shooting the aliens as they come in (which is actually the easiest way to complete the mission in the game). Not saying she'll be defenseless, but she will be trapped.

The Overseer has made his entrance. His bio has been posted as has his first direct interaction with the people within the XCOM project, courtesy of Zombie.
On the subject of the base assault, I'll be doing my own thing for that. Penny will be moving through the (alien controlled parts of the) base fairly rapidly, if someone happens to be in that section then we could potentially have a sighting, but nothing too drawn out. She won't be in the mood for conversations.

Alright, guys. I'm off for my vacation down to visit family, so I'm going to be unavailable for collaborations. This may not be the case on the FIRST half of the trip when I get wifi, but no promises.(Told you wrong earlier, the wifi's on the first half of the trip, not the second)
Despite that, I'm going to have a lot of downtime, and as long as I'm allowed to use my parent's labtop or figure out google docs on my tablet, I will become available at brief periods for the first half of the trips.
For the second half, I'm only going to have connection from a phone. That will mean I can participate in conversations and discussion here, but I'm not going to attempt any collabs at that stage. So don't be confused if I'm chatting it up here and not posting anything in the RP sections.
