X-COM RP THINK TANK (part2)

Some of which you don't really need to know. (The Exalt stuff would be nice to know, but as Juni would have no knowledge of it...)

But I'm too tired to do anything today. I might try to compile you a reasonable-length summary that covers crucial events and notes the missions of importance we've gone on, but if I can't someone else will have to.

Also sorry for the double post, but another informational that would be really useful for me and newbies alike would be a listing somewhere of users currently active in the role play and the characters they control. Because at the moment, I don't know much about either.
Maybe something like a thread where everyone who's in the role play posts their characters with a link to their bio, and can post updates like, "Going on vacation for X days. Won't be able to role play until [date]."
Just an idea. No clue how practical it'd be.

Goodgood. The RP isn't exactly along those lines, but it goes a long way. Umm...some subplots I can think of...

  • Emily's flashbacks cover her four year tenure as a missing person
  • Desmond is an EXALT spy and a manly psychic
  • Atka is not an EXALT spy and a girly psychic (also can talk to doges)
  • Ammelia just wants to play chess and be loved
  • Ashley wants to prove that her sister Scarlet isn't a psychopath (she is)
  • Jessica and Modya want to get it on
  • Albert wants to get through a mission without someone getting shot in the face
  • Penny has an ongoing rivalry with her parents and the concept of doors
  • The Commander has an ongoing rivalry with the council (and also has a psychic daughter)
  • Everyone wants to kill aliens with guns in the face

I should point out. When i said use rating i was referring mainly to role-playing posts as a form of active feedback.

I should mention that Atka's squad are NPCs and can technically be played by anyone, I just laid out simple backstories and personalities to make them more vibrant.

Alright, between projects, driver's ed, finals approaching, and general tiredness, I'm taking a break, at least until I have more time. Anything involving me is going to have to wait, I barely have the energy for schoolwork and I have practically none left over for this right now.

I'll be back, but for the next couple of days...I'm not promising anything. Sorry to Zombie and Adramma for messing up the New Delhi Campaign by being absent. You can wait if you want, or just move on without me. And sorry to everyone else that had something planned.

Actually, a bit of a delay works well for me, because it gives me time to throw together a quick character summary and relationship thing for our new RPer. I'll work on that once I get off work, show it here, anyone who wants me to add anything can tell me, then I'll put it on the bio page. I feel it makes the most sense for me to do it, since it is my job to keep up with what everyone is doing, and despite all the reading it takes to do so, I feel I've kept up pretty well.

Upon further thought, I may have time for a little stuff, though I'm going to hold off on New Delhi to give Zombie time to work on helping BlueBead out, and just focus on the other base-related stuff I wanted to do. Got 2 hours of homework today, meaning i'll have 2-4 of rp time. Though I'm just going to avoid the campagin, again, for now so I don't get too stressed out. By the weekend, though, that should give me the time I need at least on one day.

Just don't overwork yourself. If you need a break just take one.

Ammelia can't stop trying to hit it off with people that already in relationships, Also she is currently in the hospital after a extremely experimental spine transplant.

David Cross is working with Elene Exalt to kill Viktor Dorian and by extension help X-Com and his daughter. He also feels like he owes his former friend and business partner a debt for helping him discover Infrawaves which shot Cross Technologies into into fame.
