The aliens send a destroyer (medium air superiority UFO) hunting for the Egyptian satellite. The pilot with the Phoenix Coilgun was too focused on defense to land many shots, so it was up to Lt. "Utah" Graaf with a Laser Cannon to take it down. Utah goes in, balanced approach, and...we both trade crits. Utah's hull integrity is instantly shot to 50%, but the UFO is instantly shot down. Well done, Mr. Graaf. Well done. Balanced indeed.

Alright, so thus far, these are the people that have decided where they want to be during the Base Defense with their characters, or at least have an idea:

ZombieSplitter53 - Decided (Except for Ayame and Brigid)
DarkGemini24601 - Decided (Except for Modya)
Frostlich1228 - Has an idea.
MarineAvenger - Decided.
Adrammalech - Decided.
BMPixy - Decided (Except for Fay)
Taxor_the_First - Has an idea (I think, haven't confirmed it personally)
Dahlexpert - Still need something from you. Where are Eva and Ashley going to be during the base defense? (And Cassia/Catherine for that matter)
BlueBead - Not Yet Present. (You might still make it in time, but I kinda doubt it, sorry )

The base defense will have a main battle taking place (similar to the one in-game), as well as other events going on at places such as the medical ward, civilian quarters, and so on. I was thinking about a second main combat zone, and discussed it with Zombie. If we have such a place, Modya and Ayame will be there, and it would be a nice play to put Fay I think.

Yeeeeeah, I might be too late. Between the topical steroid screwing with my emotions, my grandma visiting, and possibly getting sick (AGAIN), I've had a hard time focusing on doing productive stuff.

Now, considering our poor GM is sick, the final New Delhi mission is delayed until tomorrow probably. Then we have some 'calm before the storm' stuff. So the base defense I would guess is going to start...uh, surmising friday-sunday? Something like that. I hope Friday so we can do it on the weekend, and before our students here have to go back to school. *eghhh*

Regardless, it's about 4-5 days out at least.

I just fought a giga-chryssalid. 56 HP, gigantic, insane move. Blasted it with a shredder and a storm of gauss fire. I deserve something better than a gigantic chryssalid corpse that just shows up along with the others for killing it.
