In AC3, I killed with absolute impunity, giggling and grinning as I sliced through hundreds of faceless redcoats, but when I got the Apple and had the power to make mooks shoot themselves, I was like "wow, that's a little extreme, don't you think?" No, you have a point. Though the idea of forcing mass suicide by way holding up a round, gold machine from long dead, alien-run civilization... is kinda silly, so it takes away from it. Of course, I prefer the first time the Geass was used.
